ASHI Georgia=92s =93ASHI U=94 is offering= preparation=20 classes to prepare members for the Residential Building Inspector or the=20 Residential Contractor "C" Certification exam. 

 

 This= course=20 will familiarize you with the Contractor Builders "C" code material and=20 prepare you to take the Contractor "C" test. Due to changes in licensin= g as=20 well as the criteria of the CPHB there is a need to pass this exam and=20 certification.  The City of Roswell has recently adopted the code=20 requirement which became effective September 1, 2004. 

 

 AS= HI is=20 the most recognized and respected Home Inspection organization in the=20 country.  The local chapter of ASHI, ASHI Georgia has established its= own=20 educational course through IUSA to prepare builders, code officials= and=20 inspectors to pass the code exams.

 The International Code Council (ICC) awards= a=20 Certificate of Registration to successful examinees.   This is a=20 separate testing outside of the actual prep course.

 

The=20 Housing Institute (CPHB) will issue 24 credit hours upon completion of this=20 course. 

 

This is a 24 hour class.  This class is presented one half day a week for= 6=20 weeks.  It is designed to limit your time off the job and give you=20 sufficient study time between classes.

I wish to= welcome=20 you to our training facility. It is located at 339 S. Atlanta St., Roswell,=20 Georgia 30075.     Parking and entrance is at the rear of th= e=20 building.   

 

You shoul= d bring=20 with you a pad of paper, pen, pencil, eraser and straight edge.   = ;If=20 you have not already submitted payment or made arrangements for your class,=20  we ask you to contact Carita Ferrell at 770-552-1224. 

 

 

= Caution:  The main road i= n front=20 of our building has a reversible lane.  Please make sure you check the=20 arrow in the centre lane so that you do not end up in this lane when you sh= ould=20 not be there.   If you wish to make a left turn when turning out= of=20 our parking lot we would recommend a right turn and then go up a few yards= and=20 turn around to head south.  It is easier and safer. 

 

When ente= ring=20 into our driveway we have two speed bumps so go slowly.   Feel fr= ee to=20 call us at any time if you have any questions.

Hea= ding=20 north from 285 and 400.

 

400 north= to exit=20 6 Northridge Rd.

Stay to y= our=20 right off of the exit ramp.  Cross back over 400.  Stay in your r= ight=20 lane and do not leave it.  You will be forced to bare right onto Dunwo= ody=20 Place.    Dunwoody Place will twist a little and you will de= ad=20 end at Roswell Rd.  There will be a BP station on your right.

 

Turn righ= t and=20 head north on Roswell Rd.   You are 3 minutes away.  You wil= l=20 cross the Chattahoochee River and go through the light.  You are now i= n=20 Roswell heading up a hill.  At the top of the hill at the curve in the= road=20 you need to make a right turn into our driveway.

 

As soon a= s you=20 see the limo service on your right put your right turn signal on and start= to=20 slow down.  The next business is Peach State Pool Service.  We ar= e the=20 first driveway past their office and you will need to make an immediate rig= ht=20 turn.  Across the street is the Atlanta Baptist Church.   Pa= rk=20 anywhere in the back of the building.

Take 400= south to=20 exit 6 Northridge Road. 

 

Stay to y= our left=20 off of the exit ramp.  Cross over Northridge Road.  You will now= be on=20 Dunwoody Place.    Dunwoody Place will twist a little and yo= u=20 will dead end at Roswell Rd.  There will be a BP station on your right= .=20

Take Mari= etta=20 Highway, Highway 120 east heading into Roswell.  You will dead end at=20 Alpharetta Highway, Highway 9 at the Roswell Mill. 

 

Turn righ= t and=20 head south towards Atlanta.  We are about 150 yards south.  You w= ill=20 pass a shopping centre on your right called The Clock Tower Place.  As= soon=20 as the road starts to take a curve to the left you need to be ready to make= a=20 left turn into our driveway.  There is the Atlanta Baptist church dire= ctly=20 across the street from us and we both sit on the curve.  Right next to= us=20 is Peach State Pool Service.
