Multimedia File Type Options
The multimedia file type options allow you to specify different options for
each type of multimedia file. Each type of file is listed in it's own column.
Each row is for a different feature. To turn on a feature for a certain format,
check the box for that format in the feature's row.
Auto Repeat - checking this will cause the file to loop indefinitely during playback.
Disable Multitasking - checking this will disable your system's multitasking while the file is playing. This focuses your system on the task at hand, but prevents you from running any other programs while the file is playing.
Exclusive Playback - checking this causes all similar types of medias to halt before being played. For example, if a .MIDI file is being played and a .WAV file is played, the .MIDI file will be halted in favor of the .WAV file.
Full Screen Mode - checking this causes the file to be played back in full screen mode, rather than a window.
Scaling Parameters
Magnify video if smaller than screen - checking this will cause
video files to be magnified. This will result in a larger viewing area, but a reduction
in quality.
Even factors only - when magnifying videos, checking this box will limit the magnification to even amounts (2x, 4x, etc.).
Maximum Scale - specifies the most a file will be magnified.
Area Limiting
Each of these options determines the pixel surface area of the largest allowable image
during playback. This is done as an area because of the differing aspect ratios of media
files.
