Getting started with DevOps toolchains (BETA)

A toolchain is a set of complementary tools that create a flexible solution when you use them together. Integrations across a toolchain ease the workflows between the tools so that they work in synergy.

You can configure your app for continuous delivery and integration by adding a toolchain to it. The toolchain includes a GitHub Enterprise repository (repo) that is populated with app starter code and a preconfigured delivery pipeline. The pipeline builds any changes to the GitHub Enterprise repo and then deploys the app to IBM® Bluemix®.

To learn the basics of using a toolchain to continuously integrate and deploy an app to Bluemix, see the toolchain documentation.

For the IBM® Bluemix® DevOps Services V2 beta terms of use, see IBM Bluemix Service Description.
