                           IBM AFP WORKBENCH UPDATE
 
                               Updated (1/31/96)
 
 The  AFP  Workbench Version 2.0 has been refreshed for new orders and Correc-
 tive Service for existing customers is available worldwide.  In addition, the
 AFP Workbench OS/2 Feature is now generally available.
 
 The updated version includes all service to-date as well as enhancements that
 have been made to add value for many customer applications.
 
 o   Integration and Customization Enhancements
 
     -   The AFP Viewer API interface has been expanded to add more than twice
         the prior level of function
 
 o   Official support has not been claimed for the AFP Workbench in  the  Win-
     dows 95 (TM) and Windows NT (TM) environments, but improvements have been
     made resulting from usage in those environments
 
 o   The  converged IBM AFP Printer driver refreshes the previous level of the
     printer driver
 
 The standalone AFP Workbench for OS/2 and Windows Version 2 now has  2  sepa-
 rately orderable features:
 
 o   Windows Feature
 
 o   OS/2 Feature
 
 The  full  function  upgrade  for  the Client Access/400 System Object Access
 (SOA) viewing capabilities is available as 2 features:
 
 o   Client Access/400 Windows Feature (requires CA/400 SOA)
 
 o   Client Access/400 OS/2 Feature (requires CA/400 SOA)
 
 The AFP Workbench Viewer function is available from several IBM products such
 as:
 
 o   DCF Release 4 Viewer Features (Windows and OS/2)
 
 o   OnDemand
 
 o   Client Access/400 SOA
 
 o   FAX Router/2
 
 o   IAFC
 
 o   RDARS
 
 o   RMDS
 
 o   DW/370
 
 o   Several CD-ROMs which include IBM Publications
 
 The AFP Workbench Viewer is also available within new customer  and  software
 vendor applications and/or CD-ROMs.
