Install this fix only if you have Information
Integrator for Content V8.2 + Fix Pack 1, already installed on the system and
you intend to use the Information Integrator with Portlets for IBM
DB2 Content Manager V8.2. This fix will not be required after upgrading to fix
pack 2 of the Information Integrator.
To install this interim fix follow the instructions below:
- From a command prompt, change to
<CMBROOT>/lib where CMBROOT indicates the home directory where Information
Integrator for Content V8.2 is installed (by default -- c:\CMBROOT on Windows, /usr/lpp/cmb on AIX, /opt/IBMcmb
on Solaris).
- Make a backup of the current cmb81.jar to
cmb81.jar.bak.
- Copy the cmb81.jar from the download location to
the <CMBROOT>/lib directory.
- Stop and start the Websphere Portal Server to
pickup the newly installed jar file.
