Server hardware and software requirements

Table 2 contains a summary of the system requirements of the server components of DB2 OLAP Server and DB2 OLAP Integration Server:

DB2 OLAP Integration Server Version 8.1 requires, as a minimum, FixPak 8 of DB2 OLAP Server Version 7.1. If you want Hybrid Analysis, you need to install DB2 OLAP Server Version 8.1.

Windows server requirements

DB2 OLAP Server for Windows platforms requires a system that meets specific requirements. These requirements are described in Table 3.

Solaris Operating System server requirements

DB2 OLAP server for the Solaris Operating System requires a system with the minimal hardware and software requirements shown in Table 4.
