We have updated the VisualAge for Smalltalk AS/400 Connection readme
file (rmas400.htm) that was shipped on the Version 3 refresh CD-ROM.

While the information in the readme from the CD is accurate, the
new version contains the following additional information:

- Highlights of the refresh (3.0a and 3.0b)
- Updated AS/400 Connection Requirements
- Additional installation information
- Additional user guide updates for the Printer List and Printer
  Output List parts
- A list of the runtime files needed for the AS/400 Connection
- A special notice to Envy/400 customers *

* IMPORTANT: Envy/400 customers must read this item in the new readme.


This update is available through ftp, web, or compuserve.

1) FTP to ftp.software.ibm.com
2) Logon as anonymous, enter an e-mail address for the password
3) Change to directory ps/products/visualage/fixes/v3.0a
4) Set transfer mode to binary
5) Get file rmas400.exe

The rmas400.exe file is a self-extracting zip file that contains updated 
AS/400 Connection notes in readas4.htm, a text file containing the 
same information (readas4.txt) and this file.
