Purpose of this book
 
The IBM NetView for AIX Programmer's Reference provides information
for programmers who are already familiar with the programming tasks
involved in customizing the NetView for AIX program or in writing or
customizing network management applications that interface with the
NetView for AIX program.
 
Audience
 
This publication is written for system programmers who wish to
customize NetView for AIX or to write applications using NetView for
AIX application programming interfaces (API). This manual lists and
describes commands, files, and API functions.

How to Print the PostScript** Files

A printer with PostScript** capability is required for the *.ps files.

Note: If you are using a printer with a parallel port cable,
        you may experience PostScript printing errors, depending
        on the length of the cable. If this happens, contact your
        system administrator.
