Creating a Profile

To create a new partition profile, you must be a member of one of the following roles:

To create a partition profile, do the following:

  1. In the Contents area, select the partition for which you want to create a profile. If you select a managed system, you can create a new partition, but not a partition profile.
  2. From the menu, click Selected.
  3. Select Create.
  4. Select Profile from the menu.

A setup wizard will appear, allowing you to assign resources to the new partition profile. This partition profile's effects will not be seen until it is used to activate the partition.
