1.0 About this Release

1.1 Fixes Contained in this Fixpack

Ref 27808 -- Portlet display issue: Excessive white space occasionally interferes with display of tables in portlets. This problem can occur when using Internet Explorer, to view tables that contain many rows, in some Portal 6.0 Themes. This issue, observable in Dashboard portlets, has been resolved by changing the HTML coding used to create tables.

Ref 27860 -- Portlet Factory Designer on Eclipse 3.2 issue: In some cases, when you run a model with unsaved changes, you are not prompted to save the model before running it. Unsaved model changes are now correctly detected by Portlet Factory Designer on Eclipse 3.2, and force a Save prompt to be displayed.

Ref 27866 -- Italian Locale Resource Bundle translation issue: In the Italian (it) locale, an unnecessary translation of various items in the usertext resource bundle resulted in an exception being displayed by various portlets. This translation mishap has been corrected and no longer causes exceptions to be thrown.

Ref 27881 -- File Upload Builder cross-platform issue: In some case, this Builder pre-pends a path to a file name, resulting in the upload operation failing. This problem is most common when the file being uploaded is from a Windows path (Designer using Internet Explorer), and the File class that supports the Builder is operating on that name on a Linux server. Builder behavior has been modified to accommodate cross-platform operation.

Ref 27933 -- File Upload Builder not multi-user safe: If two users upload the same file at roughly the same time, the second file will overwrite the first, and the first user will see the contents of the second user's file. The Builder now assigns a unique name to uploaded files in the target directory to prevent the overwriting of uploaded files.

Ref 27936 -- Summary Row Builder does not recognize user locale: This Builder provides an input that allows you to specify the number format to use for the generated cell. The Builder interprets this format string by using the server locale, not the user locale.  As a result, if the user locale is French and the server locale is English, elements will be formatted in the French locale, but the generated summary will be displayed in English.

Ref 27963 --In Japanese (jp) locale, the Yen currency character is not displayed correctly for calculated fields. This problem has been resolved by using the correct code page to represent the Yen character.
