Parameter

NETNPCONNECTTIMEOUT limits the amount of time a Named Pipes network continues to reattempt connection after an unsuccessful connect attempt.

Syntax

NETNPCONNECTTIMEOUT n

n	An integer value, expressed in seconds. The default value is 30 seconds.

Description

NETNPCONNECTTIMEOUT limits the amount of time allowed a Named Pipes network to establish a connection to your server.

If NETNPCONNECTTIMEOUT value is exceeded, Hyperion Essbase fails the connect attempt and reports an error.
