Function

The @GEN() function returns the generation number of the specified member.

Syntax

@GEN(mbrName)

mbrName

Any valid single member name or member combination, or a function that returns a single member or member combination.

Example

In the Sample Basic database:

@GEN(Year)              1
@GEN(Qtr3)              2
