Maximum size of trace data blocks

The truncationsize parameter specifies the maximum size, in bytes, of the Gateway trace data blocks.

truncationsize=<number>
Description
Set the value to 0 or above to specify the size of the data blocks. If you specify 0, no data blocks are shown in the trace.

You can use the ctgservice -truncationsize=number on Windows or the ctgstart -truncationsize=number command on UNIX and Linux to override the value of truncationsize. For more information, see the Command reference.

This parameter is in the GATEWAY section of the configuration file.

Default value
If this parameter is not specified, the default value is 80.
Configuration Tool
This parameter cannot be set using the Configuration Tool.
