Configuring SSL between CICS TG and CICS (SC07)

This scenario shows you how to configure SSL security on an IPIC connection between CICS® Transaction Gateway running in local mode on WebSphere® Application Server V8.0 and CICS Transaction Server V4.1.

The following figure shows the topology used in this scenario:

In this topology, CICS Transaction Gateway is running in local mode on the WebSphere Application Server V6.1 client machine. The connection is configured with SSL over IPIC. The CICS server is CICS Transaction Server V4.1.
