The procedure for configuring the agent is divided into three stages:
- Stage 1 defines a CICSĀ® configuration for the local region. You
only need to do this once.
- Stage 2 configures the agent for each remote region.
You need to do this for each remote region.
- Stage 3 tests the agent by performing newcopy and
phase-in actions. You need to do this for each remote region.
The procedure involves creating several resource definitions, resource
groups, and CICS configurations. While the procedure suggests names for these items
(shown in Figure 1), you are free to use your own
naming conventions.
