CLIENT section of the configuration file

The CLIENT section of the configuration file defines the Client daemon settings.

There must be no more than one CLIENT section in the configuration file.

Setting SECTION CLIENT = Application ID is deprecated and supported only for compatibility with earlier versions. Application ID has been replaced by the APPLID parameter, which now takes precedence. See Configuring identification using APPLID for more information.
Note: When creating a new configuration file, set SECTION CLIENT = *.

Use of the backslash (\) character to split lines in the CLIENT section of the configuration file is not supported.
