To search topics in the whole information center, enter a query in the Search field and click Go . The Search Results view in the Contents pane on the left side of the window displays the top 500 ranked results. Select a search result to view the topic in the Topic pane on the right side of the window.
If you want to see more information about the search results before selecting a topic, select the Show Summary link at the top of the list of search results. This displays a short description of each topic in addition to the title. Select Hide Summary to remove the descriptions.
The words from your search query are highlighted in the
displayed topic. To turn highlighting off or on, click
the
button.
To toggle between the navigation tree and the search
results list, select the Contents tab (
) or the Search Results tab (
) at the bottom of the Contents pane.
Searches are not case-sensitive.
