CCL2003W

Server server requires a security identification

Explanation

The Client daemon received a request destined for a secure server. The server required a valid userid and password before it could accept the request and these were not supplied.

System action

If pop-up windows are enabled, the Client daemon displays a pop-up panel allowing a userid and password to be entered or the request to be cancelled. Otherwise this message is written to the Client error log.

User response

Enter a valid userid and password to allow the request to be processed by the server. This message can be avoided either by ensuring that an ECI application supplies a valid userid and password or by using the cicscli -c command to set the server security.
