Defining DB2 entries using BAS

To create a DB2® connection definition:

  1. Issue the create primary (CREate) or line (CRE) action command from the DB2EDEF view.
  2. Fill in the fields in the DB2 entry definition panel (see Figure 42):

     Press ENTER to create DB2EDEF.
  3. To add the DB2 connection definition to the data repository, press Enter.
