A formatted system dump contains the DU anchor (DUA) block and the DU open
block.
System dumps requested by DU fall into two categories:
- Dump code DUnnnn
- For these there is a preceding console message DFHDUnnnn. See the CICS® Messages and Codes manual for details.
- Dump code KERNDUMP
- If an error occurs in DFHDUDM during PRE_INITIALIZE processing, that
is, before the system dump function is available, DU uses MVS™ WTO to write
message DFHDU0103, and the kernel dump function to take an SDUMP.
