In this example, an APPC device (netname APPC1) is connected to a terminal-owning region (applid CICA), which is connected in turn to an application-owning region (applid CICB). Resource definitions for the APPC device are maintained in a CSD used by the terminal-owning region and installed there. The definitions used in the application-owning region shipped from the terminal-owning region. The configuration is illustrated in Figure 1.
