IBM Personal Communications (Version 5.0.1 for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT and Windows 2000; version 4.3 for OS/2) provides 3270 emulation with accessibility features for people with disabilities. You can use this product to provide the accessibility features you need in your CICS and CICSPlex SM systems.
If you use the Web Terminal Translation Application (DFHWBTTA) to access CICS-supplied transactions with CICS Web support, the accessibility features are those which your Web browser provides.
If you use the Resource Manager for Enterprise Beans to work with EJB resources, the accessibility features are those which your Web browser provides.
Some accessibility features may not be available when using the Application Assembly Tool (AAT), which is a component of WebSphere Application Server Version 4. You should consult the documentation that comes with WebSphere Application Server Version 4 to determine which accessibility features are available when using AAT.
The information about CICS Transaction Server may mention other IBM software that can be used to assist with using CICS or CICSPlex SM. These software packages might not provide the same accessibility features as CICS or CICSPlex SM.
