The following general restrictions apply to all CICSPlex® SM API commands:
- The program must be in primary addressing mode when invoking any CICSPlex SM service.
The primary address space must be the home address space. All parameters passed
to CICSPlex SM must reside in the primary address space.
- CICSPlex SM does not always preserve access registers across commands. If your
program uses access registers, it should save them before invoking a CICSPlex SM service,
and restore them before reusing them.
