- If an application tries to acquire an LUTYPE6.1 connection, and the remote system is unavailable, the connection
is placed out of service.
- If the remote system is a CICS® system that uses AUTOCONNECT, the connection
is placed back in service when the initialization of the remote system is
complete.
- If the remote system does not specify AUTOCONNECT(YES|ALL), or if
it is a non-CICS system that does not have autoconnect facilities, you must
place the connection back in service by using a CEMT SET CONNECTION command
or by issuing an EXEC CICS SET CONNECTION command from an application program.
