Any command or series of commands that you can type in the COMMAND field of an Information Display panel can be assigned to a PF key. The number of commands you can assign to a single PF key is determined by the length of the field into which you are typing the command string. You can use the LABEL fields at the bottom of the panel to assign an identifier to the commands assigned to any particular PF key. For information about commands valid in a CICSPlex SM session, see Panels, windows, and views.
Your CICSPlex SM PF key settings remain in effect between CICSPlex SM sessions; they do not affect non-CICSPlex SM applications.
PF key assignments are shown in the last two lines of the display. To prevent these two lines from covering data lines, you can issue the ISPF command PFSHOW OFF to suppress display of the PF key assignments.
