Although IBM no longer sells 7524 terminals, support is still provided for the Intermec/Norand equivalent devices: 11xx, 17xx and 59xx. Information on this page will be presented in terms of the Intermec/Norand part numbers with indications of their IBM equivalent numbers. For simplicity, the term 7524 will still be used when it refers to all supported Intermec/Norand models collectively. The terminal flash supported by IBM that works with DCConnect is still referred to as the 7524 Extended Terminal Services flash or just ETS flash.
