Performance events as a whole are controlled using the PERFMEV queue manager attribute. To enable performance events, set PERFMEV to ENABLED. To disable performance events, set the PERFMEV queue manager attribute to DISABLED. For example, to set the PERFMEV queue manager attribute to ENABLED, you can use the following MQSC command:
ALTER QMGR PERFMEV (ENABLED)
You can then enable specific performance events by setting the appropriate queue attribute. You also have to specify the conditions that give rise to the event.
