This chapter tells you how to administer local WebSphere MQ objects to support application programs that use the Message Queue Interface (MQI). In this context, local administration means creating, displaying, changing, copying, and deleting WebSphere MQ objects. In addition to the approaches detailed in this chapter you can use the WebSphere MQ Explorer to administer local WebSphere MQ objects, see Administration using the WebSphere MQ Explorer.
