WSDL file: The following files will be generated

New message definition file wizard, WSDL file option, the following files will be generated reference material.

WSDL file

When you are using the option WSDL file in the New message definition file wizard to create a message definition, the following are the list of panels you will be presented with:

Panel properties

Filename
This column specifies the default filename for each of the files that will be generated when importing the WSDL definition. You can either accept the defaults or over-type them with the filename you would prefer.

The check box on the left of each row is used to define whether you want the process to overwrite an existing file of the same name in the specified location. If the box has a tick in it and is grayed, then no file of that name exists in the specified location and the file will be generated.

If a file exists in the specified location with that filename, the check box will not be selected and should you proceed, these files will not be generated unless you select the check box. The existing files will then be overwritten.

If you change the filename, the state of the check box depends on whether a file with that name exists in the specified location. For example:

  • If the filename you choose does not exist in the specified location, the check box will be selected and grayed.
  • If the filename did not exist and you change it to one that does exist, the check box will remain selected, but will no longer be grayed. This will allow you to deselect it if required
Location
This column specifies the location the related file will be written to.
