When logger events are generated
A logger event message is generated for the following:
- When the queue manager attribute, LOGGEREV, is specified as ENABLED and
the queue manager starts writing to a new log extent, or on i5/OS a journal
receiver.
- When the queue manager attribute, LOGGEREV, is specified as ENABLED and
the queue manager starts.
- When the queue manager attribute, LOGGEREV, is changed from DISABLED to
ENABLED.
Note:
The MQSC command, RESET QMGR, can be used to request
that a queue manager start writing to a new log extent.
