Conventions used in this book
- z/OS means any release of z/OS that supports the current version of WebSphere MQ.
- The examples in this book are taken from a queue manager with a command
prefix string (CPF) of +CSQ1. The commands are shown in UPPERCASE. Only script
(MQSC) commands are mentioned in the examples but you can generally use PCF
equivalent commands as an alternative. For more information about the PCF
commands, see the Programmable Command Formats and Administration
Interface book.
- CICS means both CICS Transaction Server for OS/390 (z/OS) and CICS for
MVS/ESA unless otherwise stated. IMS means IMS/ESA unless otherwise stated.
- Throughout this
book, the default value thlqual is used to indicate the target
library high-level qualifier for WebSphere MQ data sets in your installation.
