Has WebSphere Event Broker never run successfully before?

If so, determine whether your problem is caused by incorrect installation and setup, or whether it was caused by something else.

If it has not run successfully before, complete the following steps.

  1. Check your setup

It is possible that you have not set up WebSphere Event Broker correctly.

On UNIX operating systems and Linux, check that you have set up the command environment correctly; see Setting up a command environment for more information.

  2. Verify the installation

Check the Installation Guide for information about how you can verify a basic configuration on your system. On Linux (x86 platform) and Windows, you can use the Default Configuration wizard and the Samples Preparation wizard to help you with basic configuration and verification.

For more detailed configuration information, refer to Configuring the broker domain.
