MQe is a family of products that collectively provide the tools needed
to develop, deploy, and manage MQe messaging and queuing solutions. The family
comprises:
- The MQe licensed product, available on physical media from IBM® or
as a Web download from:
http://www.ibm.com/software/integration/wmqe/
The licensed product includes: - MQe Java™ classes
- Helper classes
- MQe C Bindings files and native C code base
- Application source code examples
- Utilities
- Reference manuals
- License information
The physical Program Product also includes entitlement to use the product
for non-development use on certain platforms. Further capacity units need
to be purchased for use on larger machines, or with the MQ bridge.
- MQe SupportPacs, available as Web downloads from:
http://www.ibm.com/software/integration/support/supportpacs/
or http://www.ibm.com/software/integration/wmqe/
The management tools in the MQe SupportPacs
play an important role in all phases of application development and rollout.
They are more sophisticated than the utilities included with the licensed
product and are an essential aid to getting started, configuring, inspecting
pilot networks, and managing production systems.
