If an earlier version of
WebSphere® MQ (previously
known as
MQSeries®) is installed on
the machine:
- Ensure that no queue managers are running and that the IBM® WebSphere MQ Service is stopped. (To stop the WebSphere MQ Service, right-click on the WebSphere MQ icon in the task bar, then click Stop IBM WebSphere MQ).
- If an earlier version of WebSphere MQ is
already installed on the machine, back up your system before you install WebSphere MQ for Windows®, Version 6.0.
