Components for AIX
The components you can install on AIX(R) systems are:
- WebSphere MQ client
- The WebSphere MQ client code for your UNIX(R) platform.
- Samples
- Sample application programs.
- Runtime component
- Support for external applications. This does not enable
you to write your own applications.
- Base
- Support to enable you to create and support your own applications. Requires
the runtime component to be installed.
- WebSphere MQ Client for Java(TM)
- This allows Java applets running on your client machine to communicate
with WebSphere MQ. It includes security exits for encryption and authentication of
messages sent across the Web by the WebSphere MQ Client for Java.
These exits consist of some Java classes. To use the client for Java you need to have Java runtime code on your machine, at the
following (or later compatible) levels:
