Starting and stopping a Configuration Manager on z/OS

The following steps show you how to start and stop a Configuration Manager.

Start of change
  1. From SDSF, start the component by using the command /S <Configuration Manager name>. If MQP1CMGR is the name of the Configuration Manager, this command produces, for example, the following output:
    +BIP9141I MQP1CMGR 0 The component was started
  2. Start of changeTo stop a Configuration Manager use the command:

    /P <Configuration Manager name>
