Service updates for WebSphere MQ for iSeries™ are supplied as PTFs (Program Temporary Fixes). They are available for download from the web as save files, which are normally stored in the QGPL library. For details of how to load and apply PTFs and read their cover letters, see the iSeries Basic System Operation, Administration, and Problem Handling manual, SC41-5206.

Find updates here:

Before loading and applying a PTF:
  • Read the cover letter carefully to see if you need to take any special actions.
  • Quiesce all queue managers, as described in Quiescing MQ.
