The WebSphere MQ Explorer
The WebSphere MQ Explorer has been rewritten, and extended in the following ways:
- The WebSphere MQ Explorer is now available on both WebSphere MQ for Windows, and WebSphere MQ for Linux (x86 platform) systems.
- The WebSphere MQ Explorer presents information in a style consistent with that of the WebSphere MQ Eclipse
platform.
- The features, and perspectives, available with the WebSphere MQ Explorer can be extended
to give further administrative control over your WebSphere MQ system.
- You can use client channel definition tables when connecting to remote
queue managers to secure the MQI channels using SSL.
- You can connect to a remote queue manager via another queue manager.
- You can filter lists of objects so that only the objects of interest are
displayed.
- When viewing a list of objects you can specify which attributes you want
to be displayed, and in which order. You can then save your configuration
as a scheme, use it again, or even specify it as the default scheme.
