From time to time, it might be
necessary to apply service updates to IBM® WebSphere® Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare.
You can apply a service update by downloading the latest
fix pack from the WebSphere Message Broker support web page.
When you apply service updates, the new level of the product overwrites
the existing level. Ensure you select the same IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare folder that you selected
in your previous IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare installation.
If you used the default folder in the previous installation, use the
default folder. Complete the following steps:
- In the Download section of the support page, click Recommended
fixes.
- Select IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare. Available fixes are displayed.
- Click the fix that you want to download. Details
about the fix, and instructions for download and installation, are
displayed.
- Click Problems fixed to find out
about the PMRs, APARs, and defects that have been fixed in the fix
pack.
- Click Release notes to read more
details about the fix pack contents.
- To start the download process, go to the Download
package section and click HTTPS.
- Sign on to the download site by using your IBM ID. If you do not have an ID, you can register
on this page.
- Open the installation wizard by using the executable file
or binary file:
On Windows,
this file is install.exe
On Linux,
this file is install.bin
- When you have opened the wizard, continue with the installation
process by working through each of the panels. The installation wizard
contains help information about selected panels.
Ensure you select the same IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare folder that you selected
in your previous IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare installation.
