Verifying your installation

You can verify that IBM® WebSphere® Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare has installed successfully by using the WebSphere Message Broker components that you have enabled for IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare.

Before you start:
To verify that you installed the IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare components, complete the following tasks:

Verify that the WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit is enabled for IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare

To verify that the WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit has been enabled for Healthcare, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit.

    Windows
platform On Windows, click Start > Programs > IBM WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit > IBM WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit 7.0 > WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit.

    Linux platform On Linux, start WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit from the main menu or run the script file provided. On a command line, navigate to the root directory of the package group and enter the following command:
    ./launcher
  2. To verify that the Healthcare: HL7 to HL7 pattern has been installed in the WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit, click the Patterns Explorer tab, then click Healthcare.
  3. To verify that the Healthcare information center has installed in WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit, click Help > Help Contents, then in the table of contents, click IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare.

    If you can see the Healthcare information center, it has been installed successfully.

Verify that WebSphere Message Broker Explorer is enabled for IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare

To verify that WebSphere Message Broker Explorer has been enabled for Healthcare, complete the following steps:

  1. Start the WebSphere Message Broker Explorer.

    Windows
platform On Windows, click Start > Programs > IBM WebSphere Message Broker 7.0 > IBM WebSphere Message Broker Explorer.

    Linux platform On Linux, enter the strmqcfg command on a command line, or run /usr/bin/strmqcfg.

  2. To verify that the Healthcare Operational Monitoring view has been installed in the WebSphere Message Broker Explorer, click Window > Show view > Healthcare Operational Monitoring.

    If you can see the Healthcare Operational Monitoring view, it has been installed successfully. You might need to close the Welcome page to see other views.

  3. To verify that the IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare information center has been installed in the WebSphere Message Broker Explorer, click Help > Help Contents, then in the table of contents, click IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare.

    If you can see the IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare information center, it has been installed successfully.
