Adding users and groups to topic space root roles

Use these commands in wsadmin to add users and groups to roles on the topic space root.

As well as having permission to access the relevant topics, a user or group must also have permission to access the topic space to which these topics belong. To give a user or group the required permission, you must assign them to one of the following roles on the topic space:

Adding a user
To add a user to a topic space root role, use the following command in wsadmin:
$AdminTask addUserToTopicSpaceRootRole
         {-bus busName
          -topicSpace topicSpaceName
          -role roleName
          -user userName}
Adding a group
To add a group to a topic space root role, use the following command in wsadmin:
$AdminTask addGroupToTopicSpaceRootRole
        {-bus busName
         -topicSpace topicSpaceName
         -role roleName
         -group groupName}
After using these commands, save your changes to the master configuration; for example, by using the following command in wsadmin:
 $AdminConfig save

Task topic
