Closing a connection

An application closes a connection by calling the Close Connection method.

When an application closes a connection, XMS takes the following actions:

If the application is responsible for acknowledging the receipt of messages in a session, closing the connection does not force XMS to acknowledge the receipt of any messages that the application has failed to acknowledge.
