Configuring a policy for messaging engines

Use this task to alter the configuration of a messaging engine policy to provide the behavior you require.

To complete this task you must have a policy to be associated with your messaging engine. You can alter the default policy, "Default SIBus Policy", however it is recommended that you create a new one as described in Creating a policy for messaging engines.
To configure the policy, use the administrative console to complete the following steps:
  1. Select the policy by clicking Servers > Core groups > Core group settings > core_group_name [Content Pane] > Configuration > Policies [Additional Properties] > policy_name [Content pane].
  2. If you want the policy to apply to particular messaging engines, create one or more match criteria by following the steps in Using match criteria to associate a policy with a messaging engine.
  3. Configure the remaining attributes of the policy using the information in one of the following sections; follow the link for the type of policy that you selected.
