WebSphere WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, Version 6.0.1 Operating Systems: AIX, HP-UX, Linux, Solaris, Windows

Managing foreign buses with administrative commands

You can use these commands to manage foreign buses. A foreign bus represents a bus in another cell (or within the same cell) or a WebSphere MQ network, with which a service integration bus can exchange messages.

Why and when to perform this task

These commands provide an alternative to using the administrative console or using the more complex syntax of wsadmin and JACL.

These commands are run from Qshell. For more information, see the topic "Configure Qshell to run WebSphere Application Server scripts".

Required cleanup: Change to paragraph and flag for WAS6.1-onward (disable for WESB) This command is only valid when run against WebSphere Application Server Version 6.1 application servers. Do not run it against earlier versions.

Steps for this task

  1. Open a wsadmin command session in local mode For example; type wsadmin -conntype none
  2. Type $AdminTask command

    Where command is the command format as indicated in the related reference topics; for example:.

    wsadmin>$AdminTask listSIBForeignBuses {-bus SCA.SYSTEM.IBM-AA8DA602255Cell01.Bus}
    SCA.SYSTEM.IBM-AA8DA602255Cell02.Bus
