Viewing events with the Common Base Event browser

Use the Common Base Event browser to select, sort, and view events.

Why and when to perform this task

The event browser uses the event access interface to query event data. The results of the query are shown in the browser.

Steps for this task

  1. Display the CBE Event Browser. Open a Web browser to display the CBE Event Browser at the following address: http://host_name:port/ibm/console/cbebrowser. This address is the same as you use to display the WebSphere administrative console, with /cbebrowser appended. For example: http://localhost:9061/ibm/console/cbebrowser
  2. Specify the events you want to view.
  3. Select the view of the returned events.
  4. In any of the browser panels, when you have finished selecting search or sort criteria, click the Get Events button at the bottom of the browser panel to display the desired events.
