Installing the Web Services Client for C++ package

To install Web Services Client for C++, you extract the supplied compressed file into your chosen installation directory. When you install the package, the directory structure for the product is created within the installation directory.

Note: In this section, and throughout this documentation, the installation directory is shown as <inst_dir>.

To install the Web Services Client for C++ package, complete the following steps.

Alternatives for this task

Windows UNIX To install the Web Services Client for C++ package on Windows or UNIX:
  1. Log on as a user with appropriate privileges to unzip and create directory structures.
  2. Create an installation directory (<inst_dir>) and unzip your compressed file into it.

Result

When the package has been installed, the installation directory (<inst_dir>) contains the following directory structure:

After extraction is complete, you are asked to read the license agreements in <inst_dir>/licenses.

What to do next
