More about using the information center...

The following sub-topics provide more information about using the documentation about WebSphere ESB in an information center. The same links are provided on the welcome page.

About the information center
With the information center, users can view, browse, and search online information. The information center is built upon open source software developed by the Eclipse Project (www.eclipse.org). It can display content that has been packaged as an Eclipse documentation plug-in.
Accessibility and keyboard shortcuts
Accessibility features help users with physical disabilities, such as restricted mobility or limited vision, to use software products successfully. You can use the information center through assistive technologies, such as screen-reader software, or keyboard-only actions.
Navigating
The information center provides a graphical user interface for browsing product documentation. Select a topic title in the navigation tree on the left, to display the topic content in the pane on the right hand side.
Searching
To search topics in the information center, type a query in the Search field then click Go. The Search Results view in the left hand side of the interface displays up to 500 of the top-ranked results. Use the Search scope dialog to limit your search to a specific subset of the information center.
Setting bookmarks and printing
Save bookmarks to topics so that you can find them later more easily. To print the topic you are viewing, click the Print icon (Print icon).
Viewing information in different languages
To view the information center in another language, set the language option in your browser so that your desired language is the first one specified, clear the browser cache, and refresh your browser view. The system will display the translated documentation that has been provided by the product owner for that language.
Viewing information as PDF documents
The information in the WebSphere ESB information center is also provided as PDF documents.
Using an information center offline
WebSphere ESB provides the IBM Eclipse Help System that you can use for local information centers. You can download the documentation plug-ins for WebSphere ESB for use in a local information center, and can add other documentation plug-ins to build up your own local information center library.
