Use this panel to list JMS queue for point-to-point messaging for
use by WebSphere Application Server version 5 applications.
This panel shows a list of the JMS queue destinations with a summary of
their configuration properties.
To view this page, use the administrative console to complete the following
steps:
- In the navigation pane, click Resources
> JMS Providers > V5 Default Messaging
.
- (Optional) In the content pane, change the Scope setting
to the level at which JMS resources are visible to applications. If you define
a Version 5 JMS resource at the Cell scope level, all users in the cell can
look up and use that JMS resource. However, the JMS resource has only the
subset of properties that apply to WebSphere Application Server Version 5.
If you want to define a JMS resource at Cell level for use on non-Version
5 nodes, you should define the JMS resource for the Version 6 default messaging
provider.
- Under Additional Resources, click WebSphere queue destinations.
This displays a list of any existing JMS queue destinations.
To define a new JMS queue destination, click New.
To view or change the properties
of a queue destination, select its name in the list displayed.
To act on one or more of the queue destinations listed, click the check
box next to the name of the queue, then use the buttons provided.
