Uninstalling Web Services Client for C++

An uninstaller is provided to remove Web Services Client for C++ from your system.

Why and when to perform this task

To remove Web Services Client for C++ from your Linux or Windows system, follow this procedure:

Steps for this task

  1. On Linux, log in as root. On Windows, log on as an administrator.
  2. Run the uninstaller:
    • On Linux, run the file called uninstaller that is in the directory inst_dir/_uninst.
    • On Windows, run the file uninstaller.exe that is in the directory inst_dir\_uninst.

    inst_dir is the directory where you have installed Web Services Client for C++.

    The Uninstaller window opens and displays the following message:
    Welcome to the Installation wizard for IBM Web Services Client for C++
  3. Click Next.

    The Uninstaller window displays details of what is about to be uninstalled.

  4. Click Next to start the removal of the Web Services Client for C++.
    The Uninstaller window confirms that Web Services Client for C++ is being uninstalled. When Web Services Client for C++ has been removed successfully, the window displays the following message:
    The Installation wizard has successfully uninstalled IBM Web Services Client
    for C++. Choose Finish to exit the wizard.
  5. Click Finish to close the installation wizard.

Result

You have now successfully removed the Web Services Client for C++ from your system.
