Learning about the Web service enablement of service integration technologies
Use these topics to learn about how to configure Web services through
the IBM service integration technologies.
SIBWS - frequently asked questions
Answers to a set of frequently asked questions about the service integration bus Web services enablement (SIBWS).
Planning your SIBWS installation
Before you install the service integration bus Web services enablement
(SIBWS) applications, you must consider your environment and determine,
for each server or cluster, which subset of the
applications to install.
Outbound ports and port destinations
A set of outbound ports and associated port destinations
provides the mechanism through which an outbound service communicates with the externally-hosted
target Web service.
Service integration technologies and JAX-RPC handlers
JAX-RPC handlers interact with messages as they pass into and out
from the service integration bus. Handlers monitor messages at ports, and
take appropriate action depending upon the sender and content of each message.
Non-bound WSDL
When developing a client application following best practices,
it should be possible to develop against a WSDL document that contains only
a port type definition, and no specific bindings or port addresses. We refer
to such a WSDL document as a non-bound WSDL document.
