The following shortcut keys apply in the Tables pane of the SQL builder.

| Tab | Moves focus out of the Tables pane. Ctrl+Tab will move focus from the SQL Source view into the Tables pane. |
| Left and right arrow keys | Moves between and selects tables in the pane when the Tables pane has focus. |
| Alt + up or down arrow key | Puts focus into or out of a table so that columns can then be selected or you can move between tables. |
| Up and down arrow keys | Moves between columns in a table. |
| Spacebar | Adds the currently selected column to the statement. |
| Shift + F10 | Gives the table or pane pop-up menu depending on whether a table or the Tables pane has focus. |
