Removing a bend point
When you are working with a message flow in the editor view, you
might want to simplify the display of the message flow by removing a bend
point that you previously added to a connection between two nodes.
Switch to the Broker Application Development perspective.
Open the message flow that you want to work with.
Click Selection above the node palette.
Select the connection from which you want to remove
the bend point. The editor highlights the connection and its current
bend points by thickening its line and appending a small black square to each
end of the connection, and by indicating each bend point with a small black
square. Check that this is the correct connection.
Right-click over the selected connection, if you added this bend
point in the current edit session.
Click Undo Create Bend Point.
The editor removes the selected bend point.
If you right-click in
the editor view without a connection being selected, you can also click Undo
Create Bend Point from the menu. However, this removes the last
bend point that you created in any connection, which might not be the one
that you want to remove.
Move the bend point to straighten the line if you added this bend
point in a previous edit session, because you cannot use the undo action. When the line is straight, the bend point is removed automatically.
When
the bend point has been removed, the connection remains highlighted. Both
ends of the connection, and any remaining bend points, remain displayed as
small black squares.
The editor also inserts small points
(handles) into the connection between each bend point and between each terminal
and its adjacent bend point, which you can use to add more bend points if
you choose.
If you want to remove another bend point from the same connection,
repeat these actions from step 4.
