Starting and stopping a broker on z/OS

The following steps show you how to start and stop a broker.

  1. From SDSF, start the component by using the command /S <broker name>. If MQP1BRK is the name of the broker, this command produces, for example, the following output:
    +BIP9141I MQP1BRK 0 The component was started
  2. To stop a broker use the command:

    /P <broker name>
