mqsireadbar command

Purpose

The mqsireadbar command lists to the console the keywords defined for each deployable file within a deployable broker archive file.

Syntax

Parameters

-b BarName
(Required) The name of the bar (zip format) archive file to read.
Start of change-v traceFileNameEnd of change
Start of change(Optional) The name of file to which the command trace is sent.End of change

Authorization

Start of changeThe user ID used to invoke this command must have the authority to read the BAR file on the local system. End of change

Responses

Start of changeThis command returns the following responses:
0
(Success) Indicates that the request completed successfully.
2
(Failure) Indicates that the command failed.
99
Indicates that the supplied parameters are not valid.
End of change
Start of changeBefore displaying anything, the command displays the version of the command that is being run (either toolkit or runtime). For example:

Start of changeThe command then displays a list of the deployable files, together with their keywords. For example:
C:\test.bar
           BAR Entry: simpleflow.cmf (07/10/05 10:43:44)
                        Author = Earlier
                        VERSION = v1.1
                        Bizarre = $MQSI
                        Author = Later
                        Information = This flow simply removes messages from SYSTEM.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE

Start of changeIt also displays any deployment descriptor and the list of parameters that have been overridden. For example:
Deployment descriptor:
				sampleFlow#MQInput.queueManagerName = MyQmgr
sampleFlow#MQInput.queueName = MyInputQueue
End of change

Examples

The following example reads the file my_bar_file.bar and displays defined keywords within the given file to the console
   mqsireadbar -b my_bar_file.bar
