Enterprise service discovery connection properties

Enterprise service discovery connection properties are properties used to establish a connection between the Adapter Connection wizard, a tool that is used to create business objects, and the application or file system. These properties specify such things as connection configuration, Bidi properties, and logging options. Once a connection is established, the enterprise service discovery wizard is enabled to discover the meta data it needs from the application to create business objects.

Note: If you set any of these connection properties using bidirectional script, you must set values that identify the format of the bidirectional script entered for that property.
The enterprise service discovery connection properties and their purpose are described in the following table. A complete description of each property is provided in the sections that follow the table.

User Name UserName The user account for the adapter on the PeopleSoft Enterprise server.
Password Password The password for the user account of the adapter on the PeopleSoft Enterprise server.
Hostname HostName The name or IP address of the machine hosting the PeopleSoft Enterprise server.
Port Port The jolt port number used by the adapter to connect to the PeopleSoft Enterprise server.
Component Interface Jar Component Interface Jar The path and name of the component interface JAR files that the adapter uses to connect to the PeopleSoft Enterprise server.
Prefix Prefix The prefix for all business object names.
Configure Additional BO Properties Configure Additional BO Properties An optional property that allows you to configure additional metadata properties during enterprise metadata discovery.

The user account of the adapter on the PeopleSoft Enterprise server.
