The panel that is described below allows
you to select the physical properties that you want.
COBOL file
When you choose to create
a new message definition file from an existing COBOL file, you are presented
with the following panels:
Panel properties
- Message set
- Specify the name of the destination message set.
- Message definition file name
- Specify the name of the message definition file that you want to create.
- Select file from workspace
- Select Select file from workspace if the COBOL
copybook file is in the current workspace.
The panel field lists the message
set projects that are available in your workspace. Expand the project to list
the message sets and the COBOL copybook files that are available for you to
use.
- Select file from outside workspace
- Select Select file from outside workspace if the
COBOL copybook file is outside the current workspace.
Click Browse... to
show the complete file directory in the panel field.
- Overwrite existing file contents without warning
- Select Overwrite existing file contents without warning if
you want the selected COBOL copybook file to be copied into the message set
project, in a common folder named importFiles.
