Uninstalling service from the Message Broker Toolkit

Remove maintenance or fixes from the Message Broker Toolkit.

You can remove WebSphere® Message Broker iFix and service updates from the toolkit using the Installation Manager.

Complete the following steps:

  1. Start the IBM® Installation Manager in one of the following ways:
    • Linux platform From the Linux (x86 platform) main menu:
      • On Red Hat, click System > IBM Installation Manager.
      • On SUSE, click System Tools > IBM Installation Manager.
    • Windows platform On Windows, click Start > Programs > IBM Installation Manager > IBM Installation Manager .
    • Linux platform Windows platform On the command line (where IM_install_dir is the directory in which Installation Manager is installed):
      • Linux platform IM_install_dir/uninstall/launcher
      • Windows platform IM_install_dir\uninstall\launcher.exe
    Installation Manager starts and displays its initial panel.
  2. Click Modify Packages. The Modify Packages panel displays the installed package groups and the products that are installed within them. If you have installed updates to any item in the list, they are displayed under the item to which they apply.
  3. If updates are installed, select the updates that you want to remove from each particular installation and click Update. The fixes are removed from the products that you have selected.
