Follow these steps to uninstall Presence Server from
the WebSphere® Application Server administrative
console.
- Open the WebSphere Application Server administrative
console on the deployment manager.
- Uninstall the Presence Server application:
- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select Presence Server.
- Click Uninstall.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
- Remove the Presence Server data
source. Depending on your environment, this can refer to a DB2® data
source, an Oracle data
source, or a combination of the two.
- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select WPS DB DataSource.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
- Remove the authentication definition for the Presence Server data source. Depending on your environment, the alias can refer
to a DB2 data
source, an Oracle data
source, or a combination of the two.
- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select the database alias (database_alias)
and remove it.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
- Remove the Usage Records data source. Depending on your
environment, this can refer to a DB2 data
source, an Oracle data
source, or a combination of the two.
- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select WPSUR DataSource.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
- Remove the authentication definition for the Usage Records data
source. Depending on your environment, the alias can refer to a DB2 data
source, an Oracle data
source, or a combination of the two.
- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select the database alias (usageRecords_alias)
and remove it.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
Remove definitions for the DB2 database variables:- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select the node scope and remove the values for DB2UNIVERSAL_JDBC_DRIVER_PATH and DB2UNIVERSAL_JDBC_DRIVER_NATIVEPATH. Repeat this operation for each Presence Server node.
- Select the cluster scope and remove the values for DB2UNIVERSAL_JDBC_DRIVER_PATH and DB2UNIVERSAL_JDBC_DRIVER_NATIVEPATH.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
Remove definitions for the Oracle database variables:- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select the node scope and remove the values for ORACLE_JDBC_DRIVER_PATH and ORACLE_JDBC_DRIVER_NATIVEPATH. Repeat this operation for each Presence Server node.
- Select the cluster scope and remove the values for ORACLE_JDBC_DRIVER_PATH and ORACLE_JDBC_DRIVER_NATIVEPATH.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
- Remove the Java Messaging Service (JMS) service integration bus:
- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select PS_bus.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
- Remove the JMS Topic:
- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select PresencePublishT.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
- Remove the JMS Topic connection factory:
- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select PresenceTCF.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
- Remove the JMS activation specifications:
- In the navigation panel, click .
- Select TAS.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK.
- Click Save.
