Debug > Modify DataThe Debug > Modify Data command changes the value of data. This command uses the Modify Data dialog box.
Modify Variable Dialog Box Fields:
Expression Field
In the Expression field, enter any Ada or C/C++ expression that identifies a scalar object or a register name (preceded by a dollar sign).
New Value Field
In the New Value field, enter a valid scalar expression or string you want to assign to the object specified in Expression. If it is an arithmetic expression, its final value must be of type Int (for C/C++) or type Integer for Ada) or type Float.
The type of New Value must be compatible with the type of Expression.
When a successful modification has been made, a message is displayed in the Debugger window:
If the modification cannot be made, an explanatory message (object not modifiable, undefined name, ...) is displayed in the Debugger window.
