Control > ClearCase > Activate Views and VOBsAll Apex commands automatically mount VOBs and start ClearCase views as necessary. This dialog may be used to explicitly mount VOBs and start views before running non-Apex commands.
Activate Views and VOBs Dialog Fields
Objects to activate Field
This list box specifies objects to be activated. The objects may be directories, VOBs, ClearCase views, subsystems, Apex views, or configuration files. In all cases, the associated ClearCase VOBs and views are to be activated.
Activating a subsystem activates the VOB in which the subsystem is stored. Activating an Apex view starts the associated ClearCase view. Activating a configuration file activates the member views.
Recursive Check Box
When set, this check box indicates that any directories specified should be searched recursively for subsystems and Apex views to activate.
Recursive views to activate Field
This field applies only when the Recursive check box is set. It specifies a filename pattern that any Apex views found recursively must match in order to be activated. The default pattern is "*" to activate all views found recursively.
