Control > Add Import (Apex/Summit)
CM > Add Import (Apex/Clearcase)The Add Import command or the Add Import button, available on the Imports Window (displayed when Control > Show > Imports (Apex/Summit) or Compile > Architectural Control > Imports (Apex/ClearCase)is selected), imports new views or Rational subsystems. It displays the Add Import dialog box.
Add Import Dialog Box Fields:
Import Into Field
Enter the pathname of the view or Rational subsystem into which to add the import in the Import Into field. By default, the field displays the name of the current or selected view or Rational subsystem when the dialog is started.
Import Into Radio Buttons
- Import views below.
Imports the views or Rational subsystems specified in the New Imports list field.
- Import views below, but only if subsystem already imported.
Imports the views or Rational subsystems specified in the New Imports list field, but only if a view or Rational subsystem from the subsystem is already imported. Other new imports are ignored.
- Import all these views into each other.
Imports all views or Rational subsystems specified into each other, forming a mutual imports set.
New Imports Field
The new imports list field shows which views or Rational subsystems to import. Use the Add, Remove and Clear buttons to modify this list. Clicking the Show Exports button displays the export set associated with the selected view or Rational subsystem.
Export Set Radio Buttons
- Use the current export set.
If a view is already imported, the export set is not changed. If not, the default export set (usually al units) is used.
- Use the export set named:
Enter the name of the export set to use in the text field (uses the default export set by default).
