Control > Set Version Attribute (Apex/Summit)Use Control > Set Version Attribute to set the value of an extended version attribute on selected versions. This command displays the Set Version Attribute dialog box.
Set Version Attribute Dialog Box Fields:
Set Attributes In Field
Specifies controlled objects you want to update. You can specify files, directories and views. Use the Add input field to add additional objects to the Set Attributes In list field. Use the Remove or Clear button to delete entries from the list.
Version Field
There are two alternative uses of this field:
- 1. . The version you want to update for objects specified in the Set Attributes In list. You can specify a version designator (such as Current) or a number.
- 2. . The full name of a version you want to update, consisting of a subsystem, element, history, and version number separated by spaces. In this case, the Set Attributes In list is ignored.
And in Versions Associated with Task(s) Field (Rational Summit/TM)
Specifies tasks whose associated versions you want to update. The Alternatives icon displays tasks in your "to do" task list. The Navigate icon can be used to select tasks by activating the Select Tasks dialog.
Attribute Name Field
The name of the extended attribute you want to set. The Alternatives icon displays the extended attributes defined for the enclosing subsystem.
Attribute Value Field
The value you want to assign to the attribute. For list attributes, values are appended. The Alternatives icon displays possible values for enumeration attributes.
Initialize Check Box
Select this check box to set the attribute to its initial value. The Attribute Value field is cleared.
