File Selection (Trace)This dialog is used to select a trace file different from the one passed on the invocation command line. This dialog is only available with the Tasking Logic Analyzer.
This is a standard Motif (TM) File Selection Dialog. It allows you to scan through the current directory or a new directory for an existing file or to specify a new file name.
The top line of the dialog is a filter box to allow you to use "wild card" patterns to reduce the number of files to scan.
Wild cards are "*" to represent any word, "?" to represent any single character. eg. The default filter path is all files in the current working directory (cwd) expressed as [cwd]/* If you change this to [cwd]/f* and select the Filter button, you will see a list of files beginning with f in the file list below.
Change directories to an other area by modifying the cwd part of the Filter text and selecting the Filter Button.
Change directories to a subdirectory of the cwd by selecting one of the directories in the Directories list and then selecting filter. Specify a file by selecting file from the file list - your selection should appear in the Selection Box. When you are happy with the pathname in the Selection box, select the OK button (or the Cancel button to cancel). Note: the carriage return key will perform several button functions such as selecting the Filter or OK buttons.
