Edit > CopyThe Edit > Copy command copies selected text and places it on the clipboard. If you invoke Edit > Copy without making a selection, nothing will happen. Use Edit > Paste to place the text within a window. You can paste into the same window or into another window that is in edit mode. This is the standard Motif copy function.
- 1. . Select the text to copy using one of the standard text-selection methods:

- 2. . Click on Edit > Copy to copy the selected text into the clipboard.
