Control > ClearCase > Set Element PropertyThis command displays the Set Element Property dialog which is used to set properties associated with Apex elements that are stored in the ClearCase repository. This command is available only if the Apex/ClearCase integration product has been purchased.

Set Properties of an Apex Element
This form identifies a set of elements to be modified. The method of identification is selected by radio buttons.
Indicates that a list of views, directories and files is specified in the list box below. The target elements are those associated with any controlled files specified in the list or contained in any directory specified in the list (recursively).
An element is identified by the Subsystem and Element fields. The target element is the ClearCase element identified, which may be a directory or file. (See Version and Element Names.)
Disable Keyword Replacement Check Box
When this check box is selected, the keyword replacement property of the specified elements is set to disabled.
Enable Keyword Replacement Check Box
When this check box is selected, the keyword replacement property of the specified elements is set to enabled.
Group Field
When a group identifier is specified in this field, the group associated with specified elements is changed to the specified group as in the UNIX chgrp command. The user must be the owner of the elements or root.
Permissions Field
Permissions of the type accepted by the UNIX chmod command may be specified in this field. The permissions of the specified elements are changed as indicated. The user must be the owner of the elements or root.
