Help > Support Report

This tool enables Apex customers to more easily and quickly report problems and suggestions to Apex Technical Support.

Help > Support Report prompts the customer for the problem description and automatically includes required Apex data (version, patches, installation log) to the report sent to Apex support. In addition, a case in Vantive is automatically created when Help > Support Report is used to report problems or make suggestions to Rational. If generated files are greater than 99000 bytes, and e-mail is available, ftp the file and e-mail support the location of files. If you are on a classified system or otherwise do not have internet connectivity, you will be given an opportunity to create a directory with the information. This directory can be reviewed before sending it to Rational. You can then move the directory to another system to be ftp'd or e-mailed.
