Control > View Properties (Apex/Summit)

Control > View Properties displays and edits properties of a single view. The command brings up the View Properties dialog box.

View Properties Dialog Box Fields:

Properties of View Field

The Properties of view field displays the name of a view. Edit this input field to change the desired view and press the Reset button to display values for that view.

Imports Field

The Imports list field displays the imports of a view. This field may be used to display either the current actual imports or requested imports that have not yet taken affect. Use the Imports input field to add, remove, or edit the list of view imports.

Imports Check Boxes

Two options are available to specify which imports to display.

Default History Field

The Default History field shows the view's default history. To change the views default history, edit the input field and click OK or Apply to make the change.

A views default history is used as the history under which objects will be controlled if no other history is specified. It is also used as the history of which new objects will be created during an Update Views operation.

Release Kind Field

The Release Kind field displays the type of release, either Development, Stable or Frozen. If the release is not Frozen, the Release Kind input field can be edited to change the type of release. Click OK to apply.

Once frozen, the Release Kind cannot be changed.

Model Field

The Model field displays the view's model. To change the view's model, enter a new model in the model input field and click OK or Apply.

Export Sets Field

The Exports Sets list field shows the current list of export sets defined for this view. To create new export sets, enter the names of the new export sets in the Add entry field. To delete export sets, use the Remove or Clear button. To display and/or edit the contents of an export set, select it in the list and click Edit Set. A new dialog displaying the contents will be displayed.

Version control is described in the Using and Customizing Summit/CM.
