Compile > Check RulesThe Compile > Check Rules command checks the current selection against predefined code rules. The Check Code Rules dialog box is displayed.
The Check code rules for files field specifies the units to check. Use the Add input field to add unit names. Use the Remove and Clear buttons to delete entries from the field. If you name a view or directory, the command attempts to check all nested program units.
The code rules checked are specified in the Policy/Code_Rules.sw file of the enclosing view.
The format of the Policy/Code_Rules.sw is lines of the form:
Value is On or Off, or a number, as appropriate. Severity is Error, Warning, or Informational, with Warning as the default. Comments are introduced by # and continue to the end of the line.
