More on Debugger VariablesYou can create a debugger string or integer variable using the define command on the Command Pane or with the Debug > Command command. The debugger uses the initial value to set the type of the debugger variable. The define command has the following syntax
DEFINE name := value
where name must start with a $ and value must be a string or integer. For example,
DEFINE $message := "hit main breakpoint" DEFINE $year := 1995
These variables can be displayed, changed, or used as though they were normal C/C++ or Ada variables
These variables have no address or type, so that both of the following commands are illegal:
$year'address $year:a
The current list of user-defined debugger variables is displayed with the lv command. To display all debugger variables, including the debugger-defined functions, enter lv all in the Command Pane.
Debugger variables are described in detail in Using the Apex Debugger.
