Navigate > Import DescriptionThe Navigate > Import Description command displays the import- description file for the current view in a text-editor window. This command is available only in an Imports Viewer window.
You can edit the imports in the text-editor window. Remember to select the File > Edit check box to open the file for editing. This button is also located on the button bar of the text-editor window.
The imports-description file, located in the Imports directory of a view, is a configuration file containing the pathnames of any views imported by the current view, including views implicitly imported by the model.
Adding a view pathname to this file and saving it is equivalent to executing Control > View Properties (Apex/Summit) or Compile > Architectural Control > Show Properties (Apex/ClearCase) and adding the import. Removing a view or Rational subsystem pathname is equivalent to executing Control > View Properties (Apex/Summit) or Compile > Architectural Control > Show Properties (Apex/ClearCase) and removing the import.
