View > ExpandThe View > Expand command changes the display to include objects (files and directories) nested under selected directories in the current viewer window. Use the command multiple times to display successive layers of nested objects. If no objects are selected, the command expands each subdirectory visible in the viewer.
To use the command, select zero or more directories and then select View > Expand.
In the following example, the directory Smartseat expands to reveal the objects nested beneath it:

To remove the display of nested objects, use View > Elide.
View > Expand does not display objects hidden by commands in the Filter submenu. To expand and show only subdirectories, use the View > Subdirectories command.
