Control > Maintenance > Refresh (Apex/Summit)The Refresh operation updates internal structures in a view to be consistent with updates that have been done to other files that the view references.
Refresh Dialog Box Fields:
Views to Refresh Field

Refresh Checkboxes
- Refresh Imports
The most common use is to refresh the import information. This is needed when an imported view is modified in certain ways. Apex will let you know when refreshing of the imports are needed by emitting a message in the message window.
- Refresh Model (needed after changing COMPILER_KEY switch)
Refresh Model:Updates the view so that information in the view is consistent with the COMPILER_KEY in the model. This refresh is needed if the COMPILER_KEY switch in the switch file is explicitly changed.
- Reload Model (needed after content of model is changed)
Updates information in the view to be consistent with the view's model. This is needed after the model itself is changed. This option is rarely needed; it is used primarily by developers working on creating and maintaining models.
- Replace Switches
Replaces the view's switch file with a copy of the switch file from the model. Can be used if the switch file is to be restored to all default values from the model.
Maintenance of views is discussed in more detail in the Command Reference.
