Compile > Make SeparateThe Compile > Make Separate command makes inlined bodies into subunits. In Ada95, it is also used to make inlined specifications into child units.
If Make Separate is applied to a program unit body, then this body is transformed into a subunit if that is legal. Make Separate refuses to create a subunit if that would cause a name conflict with another subunit or child unit, or if the selected body is not nested at the first level in a compilation unit. In addition, protected subprograms and entry bodies are not separable (technically, they are not program units).
More detailed information including specific support for Ada 95 features is provided in the Command Reference .
Command Line Interface: make_separate
