View > Sort > By ControlThe View > Sort > By Control command causes selected objects in the current viewer to be sorted in order based on configuration management status. The subordinate sorting order is alphabetical, names beginning with capital letters first. If no directories are selected, the command affects the display of each object visible in the viewer. Nested objects remain displayed beneath their respective directories.
The sorting order is this: checked-out units, checked-in units, and uncontrolled units.
View > Sort > By Control has meaning only within views. Using it within ordinary directories yields the same result as View > Sort > Directories Last.
The CM status values used for sorting do not appear unless you change the display using View > Format > CM Status.
To use the command, select zero or more directories and then select View > Sort > By Control.
