File > PrintThe File > Print command sends hard copies to the printer. This command displays the Print dialog box.
Print Dialog Box Fields:
Print Files Field
Add the file(s) to print in the Print files list. The default is the currently selected file(s).
Note: You currently cannot print window contents that do not correspond to UNIX file objects. In order to print such windows, use the File > Save As menu item to save the window contents to a file and then print that file.
If no File > Save As menu item is available, first create a file to hold the image and bring up an editable window on it. Then select all the lines in the window to be printed using the mouse or the Edit > Select All operation. Then use a Motif drag to move the contents of the window to the window on the file and drop the contents in the file. Do this by using middle-mouse-button click and drag.Printer Field
In the Printer field, enter the printer to use. The default printer is identified by the PRINTER UNIX environment variable. The Alternatives icon will display a pop-up with printer alternatives from currently active projects.
Format Field
