Tools > FindThe Tools > Find command selects objects to display in a separate Find window. The Find window has the same features as a Directory Viewer window, except that you can use it to display a specified group of objects that might otherwise be widely dispersed in the file structure. Tools > Find displays the Find dialog box.
- Use a file locator to select objects (both files and directories)
- Use filters to further refine the set of objects
Any directory that appears in the Find window is expanded to show the files and subdirectories nested within it.
Using the Find window does not alter the existing file structure.
