Navigate > VisitFrom a Directory
The Navigate > Visit command opens a window containing the selected object. If the object is a subsystem, view, or UNIX directory, the command opens a new Directory Viewer window. If the object is a file, the command opens an editor window. If the object is a task object, the Task Editor dialog associated with that task is opened. If the object is a task list file, the tasks in the list are displayed in a summary window. The current window remains open.
If Objects Are Selected
Navigate > Visit visits all selected objects in the current window. Select an object by clicking on it.
If No Object Is Selected
When you click on Navigate > Visit with no object selected. Apex displays the Open dialog box
From a Text Window
Visits a window whose pathname is at the cursor.
From a Language-Specific Window
Visits the defined occurrence of the entity at the cursor.
