Show Error MessagesThe View > Show Error Messages command redisplays the message markers (displayed as shaded text) in an unit. Use this command if you have cleared the shaded text using Clear Messages or Show Tool Messages.
If the editor window currently displays tool-message markers, they become hidden when you select View > Show Error Messages. You cannot display error messages and tool messages at the same time.
To see the error message associated with a message marker, place the cursor in the shaded text and execute Help > Explain. Error messages are generated only during some stage of compilation, including syntactic and semantic analyses.
