Text-Editor Windows vs. Language-Editor WindowsText-editor windows provide areas where you can enter, edit, and manipulate text using standard Motif cut, copy, paste, delete, and select commands.
You can perform these operations in an Ada -editor window, but you can also take advantage of Ada-sensitive features such as pretty-printing (Compile > Pretty Print) and semantic completion (Compile > Complete).
Text-editor windows and language-editor windows have different default button bars. Language-sensitive operations that can be used only in a language-editor window are grayed out on a text-editor window.
The available editors are described in the Programmer's Guide.
