Navigate > Visit In PlaceFrom a Directory
The Navigate > Visit In Place command displays the selected subsystem, view, or other UNIX directory in the current window. If the selected object is a file, such as an specification or body, the command opens an editor window. If the object is a file, the command opens an editor window. If the object is a task object, the Task Editor dialog associated with that task is opened. If the object is a task list file, the tasks in the list are displayed in a summary window.
If Objects Are Selected
Navigate > Visit In Place displays the last directory it encounters among those selected. Select an object by clicking on it.
If No Object Is Selected
When you click on Navigate > Visit In Place with no object selected, the Open File dialog box is displayed, nothing happens.
From a Text Window
Visits a window whose pathname is at the cursor.
From a Language-Specific Window
