Compile > Show > Disassembly

The Compile > Show > Disassembly command is used to invoke the object module disassembler that interleaves source lines and assembler instructions. Unlike disassembling from within the debugger, the Compile > Show > Disassembly command needs no target hardware to operate. When you choose Compile > Show > Disassembly, the Disassemble dialog box is displayed.

The Objects to generate disassembly files for: field specifies the files to process. Use the Add input field to add file names. Use the Remove and Clear buttons to delete entries from the field.

Selecting the Visit the disassembly file(s) button, displays the interleaved source lines and assembler instructions. For Ada, Compile > Show > Disassembly disassembles any Ada unit except those containing generics.
