Edit > PasteThe Edit > Paste command inserts the contents of the clipboard at the current cursor location. You must be in edit mode to invoke this command. If the clipboard is empty when you execute Edit > Paste, nothing happens. Use Edit > Cut or Edit > Copy to place text in the clipboard. This is the standard Motif paste function.
To paste the clipboard's contents into the object:
- 1. . Verify that you are in edit mode. Do this by making sue the Edit button is selected.

- 2. . Position the pointer at the location where you want the text placed and left-click. An I-beam appears at the location:

- 3. . Click on Edit > Paste to insert the text:
