Rose > Start RoseThe Rose > Start Rose command starts a new Rose server in Apex if it is not already running. It de-iconifies the Rose window if necessary and raises it on the screen.
Once the Rose server is running, it can be used as a stand-alone tool. It can also be used to (1) perform a set Apex commands, and (2) interact with Apex servers for Rose-to-Apex navigations and Apex-specific code generation.
Note: Most of the Rose-related commands in Apex communicate with a Rose server, and they will automatically start a Rose server if they can't find an active one.
Note: When both Rose/Ada and Rose Developer are installed, there is an additional level to this command that designates Ada or C++.
The Rose Developer is described in the Rose Developer's User's Guide.
