Navigate > Visit Body In Place

The Navigate > Visit Body In Place command traverses to the defining occurrence of a selected element, displaying it in the current window. If an editor window containing the occurrence is already open, Navigate > Visit Body In Place raises the window. You can also invoke this operation using the icon on the top toolbar.

In Ada, before you can use this command in the manner described here, you must perform semantic analysis on the units in your view.

Set the insertion point on the element you want to visit and click on Navigate > Visit Body in Place. This displays the definition of the element, given the current editing context. To open a separate editor window, use Navigate > Visit Body.
