Edit > CommentUse the Edit > Comment command to place comment designation on the selected lines. For example, selecting this command in an Ada file, will place two dashes (--) at the beginning of each line of selected text or at the beginning of the line containing the cursor.
To remove the comment designation, use Edit > Uncomment. To reverse or reapply the uncomment operation, select Edit > Undo and Edit > Redo.
To use the Edit > Comment command:
- 1. Select the text to be commented out using one of the standard text-selection methods.
- 2. Click on Edit > Comment. A comment desgination is placed at the beginning of each line of text.
