Fix for Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 Incompatibility

Microsoft has released a fix for the problem in the TCP/IP socket support in Service Pack 6 announced in a previous edition of this Technical Bulletin .

You may now install Service Pack 6 and apply the solution on systems supporting ClearCase clients or servers. This has been tested by Rational Engineering.

The previous edition of this Technical Bulletin recommended the workaround of making the ClearCase service account user (clearcase_albd by default) a member of the Administrators local group on the server. Once the Microsoft fix is installed, this workaround is no longer necessary.
