The Epoch field specifies the duration of a simulation timing epoch for the RTTimespec data class. A user can edit this value to move easily back and forth betweenSimulation and Real Timing services.

For example, a user might specify model timeout values using real time values (e.g. usec, msec, etc.). To run the same model under Simulation timing without making any changes to the model, the user would normally specify the duration of one epoch to be equal to the smallest meaningful unit of granularity in terms of real-time. The default value is 10 centiseconds.
