If, upon starting up ObjecTime, you get a message such as 'ObjecTime queueing: Position -n' (where n represents an integer), this usually suggests that the host id or the IP address did not match the keys.

If the information matches and you are still getting the error, try deleting all the files in the license directory and run activateKey using the key information originally provided by ObjecTime.

BEFORE DOING THE ABOVE, check that the environment variable OBJECTIME_LICENSE_SERVER is set to the name of the workstation on which the license server is running and that the following is in your $PATH, "$OBJECTIME_HOME/bin".

This problem has also been encountered when multiple license manager are running simultaneously. Use the Unix "ps" command to check/find all occurences of "elmd" and kill those processes. Then do a normal startup of the license manager, see documentation references below.
