When is "R1" appended to a reference name?

An class reference name (e.g. Actor reference) defaults to the class name, with the first letter made lower case. If the name is already in use then R1, or R2, etc., is appended to the name to make the name unique.

If an (actor) class name begins with a lower case letter, then when building an actor structure (drag and drop) the first reference name is automatically appended with R1. If the (actor) class name begins with an upper case letter then, for the first reference, the R1 is not appended.
