I am trying to migrate requirements from our old tool into DOORS.
It's no problem to get the attributes migrated to DOORS but now the users also want all links transferring... ![]() Supposing I could get an Excel list (all fields as 1 excel row) with the format: Start of Link Module Name, Start of Link Req UDA, End of Link Module Name, End of Link Req UDA Eg: CRS,CRS_1,FRS,FRS_4 CRS,CRS_1,FRS,FRS_19 CRS;CRS_2,FRS,FRS_5 CRS,CRS_3,FRS,FRS_12 CRS,CRS_3,FRS,FRS_15 CRS,CRS_3,FRS,FRS_21 How could you create the links with DXL? Thanks for any hints and tips. |

I agree with Ron. Link by attribute seems like the best course of action. You could map in the numbers from Excel to a column in the module you are going to link (Just the numbers, no text). Then follow the instructions in the link by attribute help file. I know this answer isn't exactly a step-by-step thing, but follow this track and I think you've got it made.
