Hi,

there seems to be an easy way to rename Attribute Types using DXL:
AttrType modify(AttrType type, string newName, string &errmess)

My attached code just throws "incorrect arguments for function (modify)".

Anybody who could help?

Thank you very much

Best Regards,

This should work:

AttrType at
Module m = current
string sErr
at = find(m,"MyType")
at = modify(at,"MyNewType",sErr)

Yes. The & before 'errmess' means its a returned results and must correspond to a variable.
