Hello all, I have got a module with 4 baselines but with no archive made when the second one was made. Is it possible to restore my module only with teh two first baselines ? I work with Doors 7.1. Thank you for your interest. Yassin

I think their used to be a way to restore a baseline but its not in 8.1. Don't have 7.1 to look at.

Can always just export the baselines and reimport them.

This functionality has never been in DOORS as far as I am aware.

Another way to do it would be a Tools>Functions>Copy Objects...

Hi.

You could restore the mopdule then delete the last two baselines. But you could not use the deleted baslines' numbers again - e.g. next baseline would be 5 or 0.5.

You can use File > Baseline > Copy Baseline
This gives you a new module with all the same data but starts again with the absolute numbers. I would suggest running the module compare wizard, then grabbing the absolute number from a traceability column, to give you a common reference point for the two modules.

In the telelogic kitchen (posted in another thread on this forum) there is a script called "duplicate baseline". It creates a duplicate of the current or baseline from which it is called with the same absolute numbers as the original but with a blank history of course.
But be careful, some of the kitchen scripts still have bugs in them.
