Anyone get a "Internal Printing Error - Page Synchronization Failed" when you try to print and/or print preview a module. I get it whenever I print preview and/or try and print some modules. When the window appears that shows the status of the print, and spools through the pages, it ends up showing more pages then are supposed to be in the print out and then fails.

If it occurs on print then it send the pages to the printer but some of the pages have the text or OLEs chopped off. If it occurs on print preview then it only renders the pages up to the error.

I have attached some of the error messages and screen shots.

I talked to telelogic support and they said its an issue with the print drivers and not DOORS. Ive tried printing to different printers and Adobe, to make PDF files, and I still get it. Sometimes if I play with the margins and width of columns in the module I can get it to print the module in its entirity but its a real pain.

Thanks

I have had the same problem - however when I preview the DOORS it displays it O.K - it is only when it comes to printing that it does wrong.

I have treid various laser printers, inkjets and Adobe 5.0.

The only way around it I have found is by printing to A3 landscape and using Adobe to print the document physically. This is because you can set Adobe to automatically re-size the report to A4.

But a pain I agree.
