I've run into a module called "Project-Overview". I have a nagging memory that this is associated with a DOORS tool that creates some sort of "report" for the Project. I cannot seem to locate information about in the DOORS v5/v6 Help nor in the DOORS Explorer menus.

What is module "Project-Overview"? Is it associated with an old DOORS v4 capability that is no longer used in v5? Anything else I want to know?

The module may have been created by DOORS 4.14. I've just created the module 'Project-Overview'in 4.14. It lists all the modules in the project. Section 1 contains all the formal modules, section 2 the descriptive module and section 3 the link modules.

Is this the same as you have?

I hope this helps

Kind regards

Didn't DOORS 4.1.4 have a some sort of menu command to do this? Which one?

The module is generated from the menu bar. Open a project, then select Tools>Project viewer and then select 'Raise overview'.

'Project Viewer' is in DOORS v4 (which I don't have loaded)? Doesn't seem to exist in DOORS v5/v6/v7. That's what I'm trying to confirm.

Hi, Louie.

This was an old DOORS v4.x DOORS.INI command:
doorsverify=true

If this command is in the .ini, in DOORS 4.x there where a new menu bar (see Johns item).

The script works well (withsome modifications) under D5.

Regards,
Dirk.

Couldn't make it work. Couldn't find in the menu builders where such a menu item could have been inserted.

I guess we can delete these old modules.

Hi, Louie.

Please see thread in DXL-Board for the DOORS v4.x scripts, because it is not possible to post a file here.
