Answer:
The partition definition migrated OK, it was just that the away partition was not migrated. I did try the rejoin to the partition in 8, but received the message that the file could not be read, etc., etc. What I did was to get a recent backup of the database before the migration to 8, open it in 7, and rejoin the partition. I then achived the module and imported that into DOORS 8. This was successful, however, I now have a different related problem: what to do about the repartition...see my next question post.

I created a partition of a module in DOORS 7 and a few weeks later moved to 8. The Customer sent the rejoin back and, oops I forgot about the partition. I believe there is a copy of the database prior to migrating, but short of that is there another option? Don Fowler Systems Engineer L-3 Communications

So you migrated to 8.0 and then received a partition back from your v7.0 client. I guess the migration didn't migrate your partition as well.

I'd recreate your partion definition, then partition the data (discard that), then rejoin what you got from the customer. Don't know if DOORS will complain or not.
