Since DOORS can remove a column from a view by determining what the "current column" is (the column that the user has selected by clicking on the column title), then it must be possible to get the column of the current column...but how? Is there anything like "Column c = current column" ? |

If you are suggesting that a Layout DXL can determine which column its in...
getSelectedCol(current Module) won't work since the column isn't necissarily selected by the user. There is no such 'current Column' command. I suppose the DXL could be written as follows: Put this in the first line: //FirstLineOfMyDXL loop through all columns in the module, looking for layout DXL. If one is found get the DXL of the layout, and if the first line is the one above then BINGO this is the right column. Not sure why you would need a layout to know what column its in, although looking at the column title I suppose may be useful information. - Louie |
