There isn't a way to lock people out of the various link sets. Sorry. What you can do is what we have done. We created a template project with all the modules, including link modules, that they are required to have according to our engineering plan. Then it is on the individual projects to set up the link sets they need, and it is much easier on you to keep the permissions separate. A lot of work up front, but fewer headaches down the line.

Here is an extremely simplified summary of my situation (DOORS v.7):
I have two customers sharing the same database. I'm using access settings to provide confidentiality to each customer. Now we need to set them up to share linkset pairings without disclosure to each other. If I have a linkset pairing that has neither "mandatory" nor "overridable" checked, and two or more link modules use that pairing, is there a way to provide independent use of the link modules without one customer having to change the database level "default link module" in Tools->Options->Settings?
