Hi all,

This is probably a basic and simple question, but I'm curious for the answer/reason.

Is it possible to modify an existing attribute in DOORS 7.0SP1, check the DXL attribute checkbox, click Browse, then Current, typing some code, then OK without having the entered code disappear the next time Browse and Current buttons are clicked?

If I create a new attribute the code is stored properly in the attribute. What am I missing here?

Thanks.

Before editing the attribute, save the module. It seems to put the module in a non-buggy state, so that the DXL sticks to the attribute.

You can tell the DXL is going to stick, because after you enter the DXL in the window and click OK, the Browse DXL window is shutdown automatically. If it doesn't, then you are in the buggy-state and your DXL changes will vanish. At this point save the module, and things should be OK again.

Drove me crazy, that little "feature" did...

"Checking" the DXL resolves some issues along this line for me.
