I've run into commands "setCacheState_ on" and "off" in some wizards, surrounding loops that look for items/modules/links. This appears to be a QSS/Telelogic written DXL now encrypted. It was available to DOORS v4, and MAY be unneeded now.
Anybody know what this function does? When do I NEED to use it? - Louie |

10 bucks it turns on or off the use of the cache directory you might mention with the -k command line switch. I can see the use of caching especially for opening modules (if your script loops through modules and might open a module several times by tracing links or the like, then it would save a lot of time having a cached copy of that module locally)
