Is there a way to retrieve the "Relative Number" for an enumerated list? I can get the associated text but I also need the number to which it was assigned.
Any help is appreciaed. ![]() |

Mike,
Use the attached function in your code. Pass in the name of the enumerated attribute and the text of the entry you want the related number from. The function will return -1 if there is no current module, if it can't find the attribute definition in the current module, if the attribute is not an enumerated type, or if the value passed into the function was not found.
