Hi folks,

I have written a DXL Performance analyzer that I have found to be quite useful. In posting this code to the forum I hope that it can be useful to others as well. I have included a small example of how this code can be used but if you are experienced in DXL I'm sure you will find many other benefits by reviewing the actual code.

Overview:

1. #include the PerformanceMonitor.inc file in your source code.

2. When you execute your source code a dialog box will be shown asking you which folder you want to save your performance logs in (Default: C:\temp)

3. The Perfomance Monitor will create 2 log files:
a-Details Log
b-Totals Log

4. Please review the PerformanceExample.dxl code to see how to setup your code to use the PerformanceMonitor

5. The smallest resolution of the performance monitor is 1 millisecond.

NOTE: I have attempted to write this code in such a way to be as innocuous to any existing code you have written. I believe the performance cost of implementing the performance monitor code is negligible by its inherent design.

Feedback is always welcome. If you really take the time to use this code and work with it I'm sure you will find your results very interesting and useful.

OK, so I didn't realize that attaching files doesn't work..or I did something wrong. So, I will attach the two files using the "Attach Code" feature.
