I need information on How to display deleted information when exported to word. I need to show all the changes made to the document just as is the module properties blue(for what i added, red and strikethrough for what i deleted) they want it like the track changes in MS WORD.
recap
- I need to export the document from DOORS to MSWORD
- I need to make visible all changes made to that DOORS document in MSWORD
- Changes should look like MSWORD Track changes.

You want to see changes since when?

I believe you'll need to write a DXL script to calculate the changes that you wish to see, store them into an attribute, and then export that. That approach will force ignoring of any objects that have been recently purged; but if you are just deleteing objects (without purging) then it should work.

In any case this is sticky. Here are some thoughts: [] You need to know 'when' you are comparing to, possibly the previous baseline. You need a mechanism for capturing the text at that point in time. [] Objects that were deleted and are still deleted and also objects that were created recently but then delted - are ignored [] objects that were deleted and are no longer deleted as well as objects that have been created recently would have no 'text' at that point in time; thus they would be 'inserted' with underscrores [] Objects that were undeleted and are now deleted would have no current text, so these would appear completely struck out. [] Objects that were undeleted and still undeleted would have their previous text compared to the current text; possibly resulting in isolated underscores and strikeouts. [] Its hopeless to attempt to compare rich text; before and after must be raw text. [] Use the 'diff' function to get the red lines; then export that.

If your only need is to show the changes between the current Word version and the previous one it would be easier to just use the Word compare documents facility, otherwise you will be trying to follow the trail of all intermediate changes.
If you baseline when you export a document (formal issue) then you could compare the baselines to see changes in DOORS.

A further thought on rereading your letter.
If the need is to show the deleted objects (Sentence 1) rather than show all changes (sentence 2) then you could set DOORS to display deleted objects, then filter to show only these, (may need an attribute flag for that) then export that view.

Thanks peoplo, but that's not what I'm looking for. I need to (export a document from DOORS to WORD) but with all (changes made looking just like in the MSWORD Track changes TOOL) or as they look in the history. I need the whole (requirement document with what i added or deleted in blue, or red strikethrough), this is an exigency from a customer that need it that way. I know its complicated but there must be a way to do it. P.D. if someone have the way to create a column with the deleted or added information besides the section where the changes were made i will appreciate. thanks
