I would very much like to see the answer to this question. Is there something I am missing here? I too have considered encrypting our database.

As far as I know there is no option to encrypt Doors database traffic within the Doors software. You would need to use a 3rd party network encryption soloution such as hardware based encryption which would encrypt all network traffic on a host. http://www.ce-infosys.com/CeiProducts_HSM.asp

I figured this was the case. I think SSH has some solutions as well as StorageZip.StorageZip
