Answer:
This problem is due to not having minimum and maximum values set for the attribute.
The layout DXL used to display the icons first checks to see if the underlying attribute type has min and max values set. If they are set then these are used to scale the chart. If they are not set then it uses the min and max actual values found in the module, causing the chart to be scaled unpredictably.

Fix:
Define a new type, called say "Percent" and set the min and max values to be 0.0 and 100.0 respectively.
Use this type instead of "Real" for your attribute definition.

Hi,

We're having problems getting the Icon Wizard to diplay correct graphics. We've got an attribute called "Percent Complete" of the real type. When we run the icon wizard the graphics do not display the percent of 100 correctly. 50% shows up as 75% or 100%. 25% looks like 50%. Has anyone else had this problem? I've messed around with the columns in a test database and got it to work (take column out, put back in several times, etc..) but not really sure what made it work since it's usually consistently wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Leslie
