![]() Answer: Hi, Dave. A DOORS windows title can have a max. of 79 chars (I think, this is the max. standard tooltip length of M$ Windows). If you have a title name with this 79 chars (or more), DOORS will put three dots ("...") as last chars and leave the string " - DOORS". So, if you fill the gap (79 - length(<your window title string> )) with blank chars, the dots will not catch your eyes (or?). hope this workaround helps somewhat. regards, dirk. | |

I am writing a DXL program that uses the same dialog box construction and layout for different purposes I have successful manage to change the dialog box name with the setTitle function, however the new title still has the "-DOORS" trailing identifier. Is there anyway to remove this , so the Dialog Box title can be fully customized.
also, Is there any way of customizing the Dialog box colors , without having to resort to defining a canvas? |
