I am using DOORS 6.0 SR1 for a relatively small database (~2000 objects) and it is very slow to edit fields and change column enumerations. It takes about 2 seconds to be able to get into a field and then another second to be able to update the information. Is this a feature of DOORS?

Has anyone else had this problem, i have several theories including network speed, server load etc. However i am not a network administrator so do not have all this information.

If anyone else has had this problem did you find a solution and if so what was it?

I had a similar response problem in DOORs v5.2 and I duplicated the problem in DOORs v7.0SP1 Build #70214.

The slow response problem only occurred when I had a project folder within another project folder and I was working in a view that had a column pulling in information from other modules. The problem always went away when I converted the sub-project folder to a regular folder.
