If you create the OLE object from file you can either link it to the file on your system, or embed it.
Is it possible to extract the full pathname of the linked object?

1. If the OLE object in the current object is selected, then you can get the pathname using showOlePropertiesDialog(o).
2. That dialog box will have a Link tab which will show the link.

Or - select the DOORS object. Select the OLE object, right click and select OLE Object Properties.
In the dialog box, you can copy the path manually.

To actually get the string value of the path of the OLE object...
You can get the OLE object using the attached code:


But then I think that you will need to run some OLE automation to extract the OLE properties. I have not tried that.
