Does anyone know if there is a way of passing a value to an in-line view when using WEXP so that a dfferent filter can be applied each time the view is referenced. Basically I need to filter a generic view in based on a different attribute value about 50 times in a module. The last thing I want to do is build 50 different views and reference them separately.

You cannot save DXL with a view (to make it run when the view is loaded); there is no "view" DXL trigger event; you cannot put filters nor accept/reject commands in Attribute nor Layout DXL.
Don't know anything about WEXP, but if you can make it open a module and load a particular view you SHOULD be able to make it send DXL commands to DOORS as well. That DXL could do your filter for you. - Louie |
