Answer:
Hi Reik,

that must be an undocumented function but it works well,
thanks a lot!

string getRightClicked(DBE treeView)

Sometimes it can be so easy...

I have a tree view with some objects and added a menu to this tree view. I want to use this menu related to the tree entry on which a right click was performed.

So far I can get the menu with a right click on a tree entry. But how can I get the path of this tree entry?

The get(tree view) method only gives the path of the selected entry and with a right click I can't select a single entry as far as I know. Is there any possibility?

Thanks for any help!

Doesn't a right click also select the item which the mouse is currently over?

No, unfortunately an item is only selected on a left click...

Hi Bastian,

you should try to use:
string getRightClicked(DBE treeView)

Yes, it is an undocumented feature. As far as I know, it only works with treeView. You can find that function used in the a few of the DXL files supplied with DOORS, such as ddbintro.dxl and treeview.dxl. Search those files, and you will find getRightClicked.
