Hi,
I am trying to use the "-dxl" command line switch when I start DOORS on my local machine, but somehow this does not work. It works for other command line switches like "-user", "-d", etc. (I know that I am using the correct syntax as it works with our productive client on a Windows terminal server.) Is it possible that this is deactivated for me? Does anybody know how to activate it again? Is this maybe a Windows XP profile thing? Karl |

Hi Karl.
We queried this and were informed that in DOORS 8.x, this switch does not work and is recorded as as a defect -please check this with support. It works in DOORS 7.x. As an alternative, depending on what you need to do, you could use a trigger to run your script. Regards, Ewen Miller QinetiQ |

Thank you, Ewen, for your answer.
Installing the latest patch, which updates the DOORS client to 8.1.0.2, did the trick. Karl BTW: Happy New Year to Everybody. |
