Answer:
Hello,

I have a DB being accessed from multiple locations across the internet, where can one determine the encryption of the DB traffic and is i possible to control the encryption levels of that information. Working with DOORS 7.x client to a DOORS 7.x DB.

Thanks,

Bobby

I would very much like to see the answer to this question. Is there something I am missing here? I too have considered encrypting our database.

Thanks.

As far as I know there is no option to encrypt Doors database traffic within the Doors software. You would need to use a 3rd party network encryption soloution such as hardware based encryption which would encrypt all network traffic on a host. http://www.ce-infosys.com/CeiProducts_HSM.asp

I figured this was the case. I think SSH has some solutions as well as StorageZip.StorageZip
