Answer:

For Louie...the info in this thread is related to the other one you got from me today...(plain old value thread)

I accomplished my goal with the following script...It originally was a Layout DXL, but is now converted to Attribute DXL.

How would I approach setting up a column to display just the last modified date and author of a single attribute. It doesn't have to have a value in the DB. E.G. Identifier / Requirement / Attr1 / Attr2 / Last_Mod_Date_for_Attr2 / Last_Mod_Author_for_Attr2 I have tried several ways to display using history and closest I get is all history since last baseline. I only want the very last modification info to appear in column. Any help would be greatly appreciated! craigf@softcomputer.com

I wrote a function to do just this. But History browsing is a tough since many of the History.Attributes will cause DXL abort if used for the wrong History Type; thus the noError()/lastError() combination. Anyway, the version that doesn't use my other regular library functions is attached; it may require a little tweaking.

I get errors on your script. Where do I enter my specific attribute? Maybe I am just not seeing what you are asking me to tweak. I was able to get close with the following Layout DXL Script. Does anyone know how we can just modify this script to show only the last modification date.
