I am trying to copy a project to create a new one based off of it, but I keep getting an error. I narrowed the problem down to one deleted module. If I try to undelete the module, nothing happens. If I try to purge the module, I get this error:

Cannot lock index file for null folder.

Does anyone have a clue as to what this means and how I can fix it?

Thanks.

Added:

I am now getting the error:

Item is not in expected Folder

try running the database integrity checker (you have to be logged in as "Administrator" if I remember correctly).

You would probably get this sort of error if perhaps you opened the folder and could see the module and then someone else moved or purged the module, since your explorer would not be updated. If so, clicking some other folder and then back to this one should update your display and you wouldn't see the module.

More likely that module is corrupted in some way, and as Richard said the Integrity checker might fix it. The module might be hopelessly lost but Integrity should clear up the problem so you can archive.

If the integrity checker does not fix it, you may have to contact support and have them walk you through removing the files manually from the database (through windows explorer).

Thanks for the advice everyone. We ran the Data Integrity Checker and it fixed the problem.
