I can not change the name of any formal modules.  Anytime I go to the module properties the name is grayed out.  I am the database administrator and the access rights are RMCDA.  Any ideas why?

Make sure that the module is not Open. You can only change the name of the module from the database view(right click on the formal module->properties).

I wish it were that obvious, but that is not the problem.  I have tried changing the name from the database view, I have also tried changing the name with the module open and selecting File->Module Properties.

The module may be opened and undisplayed, that means
* hidden by the caller on your workstation (opened by dxl, traceability view),
* or opened on another workstation.

Please try the "manage open modules" command in the "tools" menu.
If it does not work, maybe the module is opened by somebody else.
=> Try "manage locks" command in the "tools" menu.
=> If you do not have database manager rights, you can also check "sessions" in "history" to find other users which use this module.
