I am getting an error on a Regexp match when it is passed a very long string. I am first stripping all line feeds, and putting the entire attribute contents into a string, then matching some text within that string. I only get an error when the string is very long. Anyone know if there is a limit on the length of a string you can match against?

The length of the string may not be the source of the error. The input string with characters that are used in regular expressions will give you and error such as the character ) |

1. What does the error say?
2. Maybe posting your regexp might help |
