Maybe it's just me, but the new color scheme for the forums can be a bit hard on the eyes. The dark orange text on top of the blue bars (where the bread crumbs are displayed) is especially hard to read, moreso when the text isn't bold. Perhaps make the text within the blue bars be a lighter color for better contrast? Yellow or white would be ideal.

For what it's worth, I'm using IE 7.

Yes, Red on Blue is as bad as it gets, except of course for colors that are almost identical.

Hi Guys,

Were in the process of updating the site for launch in November - part of which is to update the color scheme. I have forwarded your comments to the design group.

Well then, here's a little more feedback - the links in the emails don't work - or at least the one to get to this thread failed. The email link is:

https://forum.telelogic.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=50&threadid=5336&forumid=2

but the link I need to get here is:

https://support.telelogic.com/en/doors/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=50&threadid=5336&forumid=2

Wait - later emails work. I guess there's a change over period and I hit it...

Paul.

These forums have now been updated and though all of the styles have not been fully updated, opefully they are easier on the eyes.

All in all the new site design is a great improvement, well done guys. However I have to agree with the comments above, the red on blue really lets the rest of the design down.
PS, I'm using firefox on Ubuntu.

The RSS does work - however, access is based on a cookie, which expires after the browser session. I suspect the RSS feed cannot refresh this cookie, so i guess breaks it when you are not logged in or try to access the feed the next day.

Is it just me that sees Red letters on Blue background making words that are very hard to see?

Me too.
I am colour blind and I cannot see red very well.
So for me, red on blue is like looking at the secret writing we did with lemon juice as kids.
Unforunately, holding a match to the monitor does not turn the letters black.

My problem is that I wear glasses with a high refractive index. This makes the red and blue appear to move relative to one another as I move my head from side to side, leaving dark lines down one side of the letters and white lines down the other side (the lenses work like a prism, scaterring the spectrum, so red moves more than blue). Occassionally this is cool - late in the evening after a beer or two - but when it's there all the time it's just a pain. Please change the Red to something with a good contrast - yellow and white were suggested, and either of these would work for me (white is preferred).
