I got a copy from my local Telelogic representative after explicitly asking for it.

Regards,

Peter

I have attached WEXP 11.4, the latest version available to me; I'd appreciate knowing if anyone else has a more recent version.

Let me know if you have any problems; however, I'm posting this as-is, with no expressed or implied warranty.

This is actually a response to this thread in "Gerneral Discussions", but I can't post attachements there, and it fits well here: Attached is the WEXP documentation for 11.4.

Here's a Word version with a slightly more recent date; however, I'm not sure if there are any significant changes

WEXP is no longer supported and will not be updated from 11.4.

Doc Express is to replace it.

When I exported a file from DOORS to Normal.dot, the title I put on Normal.dot always stayed at the end of the file. Does anyone know why?

WEXP needs a bookmark in the dot-file named "DOCBODY".
The "WEXP Bookmark" attribute needs to have as value the same string "DOCBODY" for the first object to be exported.
If you don't have that, WEXP puts all exported data at the start of the document.

Thank you all for your replies. I happened to see them only today. I have not been receiving any e-mail notifications like I used to when someone replied to my posts :-(.

Thank you Ken for the zip file. Will check it out.

If you want a supported version of WEXP, get a DOORS/TREK licence from Telelogic.

WEXP is part of TREK and maintained in France.

Dave, I'm just about to start using TREK, been avoiding it for a while but finally came to the crunch. Any top tips? Im particularly interested in the import/export, for synch between subcontractors and the ''main' database.

Cheers
Andrew

Hi Ken,

Is this WEXP working for you? When I tried, I got a few cannot find file messages. Moved them around and got past them Now I cannot seem to go beyond the following message:
"-R-E- DXL: <addins/WEXP/include/banner.inc:74> null Bitmap parameter was passed into argument position 2
Backtrace:
<addins/WEXP/include/wexpinit.inc:1050>
<addins/WEXP/include/wexpload.inc:51>
-R-E- DXL: <addins/WEXP/include/banner.inc:74> null Bitmap parameter was passed into argument position 2
Backtrace:
<addins/WEXP/include/wexpinit.inc:1050>
<addins/WEXP/include/wexpload.inc:51> "

Uma

is banner.bmp correctly located in the <addins\WEXP\images> folder ?

if not, you could try jeremy.dick@integrate.biz and whose illustrious features are concealed within the aforementioned banner.bmp

I think this is the same problem I experienced when installing WEXP on a network drive. The addins directory seems to be handled differently on a network drive from a local drive and so I solved this by putting the images folder in a seperate directory.

\addins\addins\WEXP -> for all WEXP folders except images

\addins\WEXP -> for the WEXP images folder
