I created a link module and I would like to specify that a particular module can only link to another module and to do that, I believe, I need to add the Link Module and Target Module in the Module's linkset properties and check the corresponding box...but...the Action buttons are all grayed out. Does anyone have an idea of  why they would be grayed out?

Even though the GUI insists that these LinkSetPairings aka DefaultLinkModules aka LinkModuleDescriptors are defined in the source module, they are actually stored in the source-module's folder. Using DXL you just open folders, not modules. If the option is greyed out either you don't have the module open Edit (I don't recall if that was necissary) or you lack M rights to the folder the module resides.

Modification of of linkset pairings needs Admin rights to the folder. From DOORS Help (linkset definitions):

"You must have administrative access to the parent folder of the source module to configure linkset definitions and enable linkset control. "
