Hello DXLiens,
I have this script which creates an CSV export started in batch mode with all the attributes in a module!
Now I tried to run that script on a whole folder and its subfolders after 63 Modules I got this error:
Line 29
null Module name parameter was passed into argument position 1

I think this has something to do with memory or something like that it does not depend
on the module but on the number of modules I try to export (maximum 63).
My second problem is I don't have any idea how to not export pictures in modules?

I know this are difficult questions and the code isn't easy to understand but you can try it out
it works if you have less then 63 Modules in your folder!

cheers,
Mussie

Two suggestions for your code:

Change edit to read -- given your are exporting there is no clear need to open module in edit mode.
And after the read test for a null module -- just because there is an item doesn't mean that user can read the item.

Can't find it!
Is it in CSV.inc or CSV.dxl?

cheers,
Mussie

First off I'd have two loops; [1] dump modules in this folder. it the type of the item isn't Formal continue [2] dump sub-folders recursively, if the type(item) isn't Folder or Project continue. This will put all the modules in a folder together in the output.

Getting the 'name' of a module returns only its base name. e.g. 'MyModule'. Its very tricky dealing with base names, here's two reasons: [1] generally the 'current' folder will need to be the one housing the module [2] there may be more than one such module in the project. I routinely use the FullName of a module when dealing with it; base names are only for display purposes.

Now I don't see what's wrong since you are setting the current folder before checking the (base) name, but I'd check the fullname anyway.

Yes, 'read' rather than 'edit' the module.

I wonder what happens when you open a module 'visible' in batch mode. I wonder why you bothing opening visible at all. I don't see the include file, but the object look can look like this: for obj in entire mod do; { if (isDeleted(obj)) continue; ...} then you don't need any sort of 'standard' view and can open invislble; which is a BUNCH faster than opening visible.
