Hi

I have a need to convert some tables in some of our existing modules to OLE objects. Essentially we want a table to be considered one object. We have some working code to convert a DOORS table to an RTF table but this has its limitations.

What I want is some DXL that takes a DOORS table and creates an new object with an OLE excel worksheet or perhaps word table (but I think excel would be easier).

Does anyone have some DXL that can do this?

Cheers

Go to baselinesinc.com, click "DXL Repository" and grab the VBA to convert tables to OLE.

Export your tables to Word.

Run the VBA.

Import your tables back to the original module, and copy and paste. Or, import your tables to a new module, and copy objects.

The script form Baselines Inc works well for Word 2003 however now that our company has upgraded to Word 2007 this script doesn't perform as well.

Has anyone had achance to examine this to work out the kinks?
