Hello People:
My question is simple. Does anyone have an example of how to link by attribute? I've been trying to work with it but i can't. Right now I have 4 sets of tables cells to be link to another document sections. Example: Cell with a 3.1.1 Text should be link with module X in section 3.1.1 Any ideas. Thanks |

There is actually quite a good description of the Link by Attribute tool in the DOORS Help.
The main idea is that you should have other module's Absolute Numbers in an attribute in that module you are starting the Link by Attribute tool. ------------------------- Pekka.Makinen@softqa.fi SoftQA Oy -http://www.softqa.fi/ Edited: 20-Mar-2007 at 16:08 by Pekka Mäkinen |

Reading the Help files is a good place to start.
Basically you will create a text attribute which will exist for every object in your source module. The absolute number from the target object should go in this attribute. Once this is complete, Use the Link by Attribute tool to create the links. Steve Shufelt Harris Corp. SShufelt@Harris.com ------------------------- Steven Shufelt DOORS Admin Harris Corp.
