I took a 550MB project archive from 6.0 and imported it into a 7.1 database. I reviewed it and everything seemed fine. When I archive this project from 7.1, the .dpa file is only 460MB. Does 7.1 store the information more efficiently? I made sure to include the baselines.
Thanks, AL |

Hi.
In DOORS 6, I believe the archive max size was 30 Gb. In DOORS 7, I believe they have removed this constraint by changing the archive's functionaity. Whether this affects archive sizes: don't know. |

I've noticed that many of my restores in v7.1 do NOT include the baselines, even though I archive including the baselines. Check your restored modules to see if they have any of their baselines.

I think I remember that 6.0 databases were bigger than 7.1 databases also. May anyone confirm ?
