Answer:
This should get you started. Recreational DXL.

But I will try and find a more serious example.

I think I've hidden from Canvases long enough. Can someone please post a reasonable canvas demonstration DXL to help me get started?

I notice in Tetris, your left and right shapes are actually identical (rotate one twice and it looks like the other). If you replace line 58 with the below, they end up correctly different.

const int SHAPE_RIGHT[NUM_COORDS * 2] = { -1, -1, -1, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0 }

I missed out a minus sign on purpose to see if you would spot it

Sure Tony. To me, that is an undocumented feature. ;-) Well, that is what I tell my customers when they notice things like this.

Louie

Did you manage to progress any further from Tetris ?

As a newbie to canvas - and I need to draw lots of weird flowchart shapes does anyone have a library of shapes they are willing to share?

I would love a program that can draw traceability out from an object reliably. Tony sent me a script that drew it pretty well for modules which I then modified to do objects. It works but its not ideal since it only draws upward instead of in all directions. Unfortunately I'm not skilled enough with graphics to do it myself. At least not in a reasonable amount of time.
