![]() Answer: The following code creates a menu on the bottom of the Formal module popup menu when it is in a dxl file in the config/formalPopupFiles folder on the client machine. This file could just as easily contain a #include to a dxl file on a networked drive, giving you central control over menu options. There is no way via the addins route to add menu options to existing menus. | |

I know how to add items to those available when I right click in a module. What I need is a way to distribute this to ALL users. From what I understand, the menu items for something like this are added on a client basis. Is there some way to push or pull this for all users so they will have the same item available when they right click in a module?? I've used the -addins switch pointed at a drive available to everyone for distributing scripts. Does anyone know a similar method for adding/changing menu items?? |

no, DOORS doesn't do this.
however, you could, for example, use the -addins feature to run dxl which downloads the menu dxl from a conf directory on the server. |

Thanks a bunch Tony, that'll do the trick. Simple, but I hadn't thought of it! |
