While cloneing a module I receive an "unknown attribute (Object Type)" error during the processing of some views.  The attribute "Object Type" does exist and is marked for cloneing also.  Some of the views that present this error don't display this attribute, while others that clone just fine do, and vice versa.

Don't know.

If I got that error I'd check these things: The views in question display some other attribute that is not being cloned, and DOORS is displaying to you the wrong attribute name. Attribute name has a space at the end. Attribute Def or its Type cannot be seen by you. Some views cannot be seen by you. You lack edit capability to this module even though you have it for the folder. You've got Layout or AttrDXL in a view that looks or sets Object Type attribute; or follows links to another module that does not have this attribute. Object Type is a module-level attribute only.
