You could easily create the views in both modules for full traceability, but the traceability table (view) could be exported as a table and put into section 5 Requirements Traceability or Section 6 Test Verification Matrix of your requirements module (typically).

Use the wizard to create the views easily. We use an attribute called "Reqt #" (in the requirements module) and have created a view that contains the requirement number, test case heading (gotten via the links you set up), test case status (attribute set up in the test module), etc.

Hi all

I have 2 modules in DOORS - User Requirements and Test cases (each one an object).
Each test case object is linked to one or more User Requirements in the other module.

After completing the links, what is the way to produce a report (e.g. WORD format) showing the traceability information? i.e. requiirements linked to each test case and another report: test cases linked to each requirement.

First create a view with analysis wizard or any method and then export to word.
