Has anyone used the CPS on a project for a long time? We created a module over two years ago with shared requirements across several programs. We've been using the CP system all along and now there are over 3100 applied CPs in the Proposals module. I often reference old CPs for history so I don't want to delete the CP system which is the only recommendation I've seen from Telelogic. Besides, the programs are on-going so every week there are new CPs submitted. But opening the CP Summary View (which uses Layout DXL) has gotten very slow. I'm curious how other people are managing this. Is there any problem with baselining a Proposals module?
Thanks, Nancy |

Never actually done it, but it seems to me you can modify that view such that CPs with a status of 'Applied' or 'Rejected' are not visible. ..err.. CPs with a status of 'New', 'On Hold', 'In Review', or 'Approved' are accepted.
On the other hand, you can delete old very old inactive CPs, but they are still there in case you need to view them again. - Louie |
