Topic Title: Bitmap on canvas: seeking relatives Topic Summary: It's easy to produce a bitmap on canvas using an absolute path. But wouldn't it be nice to have a relative reference? Created On: 27-Nov-2007 16:16 Status: Post and Reply |

I am painting a bitmap on canvas so as to have a welcoming screen.
As can be seen it is easy to have an absolute reference. But I haven't found a way to refer to the file relative to the script. Also: I tried putting the bitmap in the $DOORSHOME/lib/dxl/addins folder but alas... no import. Just a black screen. Edited: 27-Nov-2007 at 16:18 by Pim Meij |

Thanks, that works fine. As does getenv("DOORSHome").

"HOME" is the default location of the DOORS database. "DOORSHOME" is the one actually in use, which would be different if you used the -d command line switch. So getenv("DOORSHOME") is correct, getenv("HOME") will sometimes be incorrect.
