I know we can use dbadmin to remotely stop a DOORS server. Is there a similar command to do the opposite?

You need acces rights to the server, then try this:
netsvc <service name> \\<server> example: netsvc "DOORS Database Server" \\remoteserver /start If you don't have a current connection to the server, connect with "net use \\remoteserver /user:<username> Dirk. ------------------------- Dirk Plaschke |
