I would like to create an external link and assign it to multiple objects within a module, much like you can do w/ an attribute.
Many of the requirements within my module will require the same external link. I would like to only make the link one time and apply it to multiple objects(requirements). Can someone tell me if this is possible ? Thanks in advance for your help Regards Edited: 10-Nov-2008 at 15:28 by alejandro garcia |

This can be done - But the answer will be a microsoft type answer,
(i.e, I will tell you something that probably won't be usefull for you). First start the link, then select a range of objects. Select Make link from start. Select Selected objects from dialog box. |

If your having problem you may need to know that to select objects in DOORS, you the objects must be in edit mode.
I do not use this method -- most all linking I do is by --link by attribute or --dxl scripts |

Alejandro,
I would submit a bug report. You cannot do this in the GUI, and you should be able to. You can always look into DXL, as Ron suggested. ------------------------- Kevin Murphy http://www.baselinesinc.com |
