Hello,
I am trying to put a bit of DXL together that goes across an outlink and gets the object text data from the linked module. I know the wizard does this - but it references the database ID of the moduel which in this intace changes quire often. The code I have writtentries to specify the modules involved by name but when I run it crashes DOORS 7.1 quite septacularly. Can anyone help?? Thank you Paul |

Paul,
It is far easier to use the wizard to create the code for you and then edit this to do what you want. The attached code was produced by the wizard selecting out-links, specific module, all link modules. I have commented out the moduleID stuff and replaced it with a check for the full name of the target module. ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |
