Answer:
The error mesage you mention is caused by assigning the user class to a string variable.

You must assign it to a variable of type UserClass and then convert to a string.

I'm afraid I could not recreate the problem you had with extracting the diabled property.

Hi All,

Currently using DOORS 7SP1 Patch 18449 , logged in as Administrator.

Problem 1:

I'm using the "for user in userList do" loop to extract information about each user account.

When I try to access the user class value so that I can print it out eg: uClass = user.class, DOORS raises the DXL error "-R-E- DXL: <Line:16> Access to this property is denied".

I'm logged in as Administrator, what's going on here?

Problem 2:

When I try to determine the boolean disabled status of each user eg: userDisabled = user.disabled, the value is set to "True" for every user which is not the case - any clues on this one please?

Thanks Tony,

Acquiring the User Class value is now resolved - as for the user.disabled problem, I've found the error and is now also working.
