I'm not a Visual Basic expert. Does anyone know how to get a handle on a Text Box in an Excel Spreadsheet? The text boxes that you can drag to create. I know its somewhere in the Shapes group but I can't figure out what Method or Property to call.

Hi David,
I do not really understand what kind of text box you mean, but I can give a very simple tip to find the solution yourself ![]() The best practice to find out, how to get an OLE object in MS Office applications is to record a macro! So start macro recording and manipulate something on the desired text box, then stop recording and press ALT+F11 to see the recorded VBA code (you should select Module/Module1 in tree on left side) ... In this code you may find the answer ![]() Greetings Reik ------------------------- Evosoft GmbH for Siemens Industry Sector Berlin, Germany |
