![]() Answer: Probably your Revision attribute is of type String or Text, but "major" function returns an integer, thus you have to typecast the return value by concanating it with "" (empty string): Module m = current Baseline b = getMostRecentBaseline(m) m.attrDXLName = major b "" The attrDXLName seems also to work in module context. | |

Hello all,
using WEXP with DOORS 8.2, I would like to display only the major of my module version as a revision (e.g. current module Version is 3.0 --> revision is 3). Doing that I thought to create a Module DXL Attribute. The code below fires an "Attribute DXL Failed", when I check the attribute in the module properties. Anybody, who can help? Maybe a better solution than an attribute DXL, like something in the .dot file, that deletes the last two characters of the string <<version>>? Thank you in advance. Mathias,
You could do something in Word, if you wanted to. For example, you could add a Formula field such as { = INT( <<version>> ) } Except that this won't work if you use suffixes to your baseline versions, since this is included in the WEXP <<version>> 'pseudo module attribute', so you would need to add some VBA stuff to your document. But if you don't, then you can... ![]() Easiest would probably be to use Pekka's method in DOORS. Cheers, Marcel -- Marcel van der Laan ICT Embedded (www.ict.nl) |
