![]() Answer: Louie: I got from Crimson web site the version 3.45 R2. In this version, the following files: doors-dxl.key doors-dxl.spc located in Crimson Editor/spec folder. You'll find them attached to this message. Good luck and warm regards, Daniel | |||

Anybody bother making files "dxl.spc" and "dxl.key", to define DXL syntax to Crimson Editor?

For those of you that use Crimson Editor, here is a new syntax file.
You can also find it posted on the Crimson Editor website. Enjoy!

Haven't checked it all out yet, but I notice "elseif" is still missing.
Is the following still suitable DOORS-DXL.spc file? Does there need to be a BINARYMARK=0b entry? # DXL LANGUAGE SPECIFICATION FILE # FOR CRIMSON EDITOR v3.0 # Ron_Lewis@hotmail.com # FIRST EDITED BY Ron Lewis 2002.01.04 $CASESENSITIVE=YES $DELIMITERS=~`!@#$%^&*()-+=|\{}[]:;"',.<>/? $KEYWORDPREFIX=# $HEXADECIMALMARK=0x $ESCAPECHAR=\ $QUOTATIONMARK1=" $QUOTATIONMARK2=' $LINECOMMENT=// $BLOCKCOMMENTON=/* $BLOCKCOMMENTOFF=*/ $INDENTATIONON={ $INDENTATIONOFF=} $PAIRS1=() $PAIRS2=[] $PAIRS3={} |

How about similar files for CodeWright (lexer.ini etc.)?

All these years and I didn't know DXL supported elseif as a single word!
I am sure there are other things missing, please let me know as you find them. I am still using Ron Lewis's spec file, I see no reason to change it. I can't see that crimson does anything with the HEXADECIMALMARK entry, does anyone know? ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |
