when i tried to export word document into DOORS which has table and a cell itself in the table contains a table ,i could see the parent table is being exported properly but the table inside the table is not being exported properly can you kindly help me how to upload a table which inturn contains a table.

Hello Subro,
you can either run the attached code (provided by Richard Good) on your document and export it. Or you can select/copy the table and then do a Paste Special in DOORS. If you find the table formatting changes, just select all of the table rows/columns and reapply the Table AutoFormat ie Table Grid. DOORS doesn't support embedded tables. Humans have a real hard time with it which makes me wonder why you would want to use them. Anyway, you need to turn your embedded tables into OLE diagrams, and then import it. As Simon said, cut the embedded table then paste-special it as an MS-Word document object. Then import.
