I was wondering if there is a way to call a dxl command or execute a dxl script from a java application?
I would like the ability to create new objects in DOORS modules from my custom java application.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hi Adam,

may be, you could use a DXL server or at least IPC connection to easily connect Java to Doors. (please refer to DOORS 7.1 API manual for details)
I do not know, if there is a native way in Java to deal with OLE automation? That could be another hint

Greetings
