Several WORD docs were imported into DOORS with highlighted text. Can this be removed in DOORS or do I have to retype the words?

Alison, There are multiple ways to remove the highlighted text but in general it is easiest to just retype.

If you want to make the change by dxl you could use the following one line dxl for changes to Object Text. However, this approach can wipe out any other richText containted within the Object Text.

(current Object)."Object Text"=(current Object)."Object Text" ""

The kitchen library contains a script which deletes all rich text not supported by DOORS. The original script, however, deletes OLE objects, which is why I slightly modified it. Attached is the modified script. Please note that it does not work as a self-standing script but expects the kitchen library. There, it should be placed in the 'kitchen/richtext' folder.

Regards,

Peter

I don't have a kitchen library and therefore it fails on utensils/dbs.inc.

Not sure if this is something that was supposed to be installed.

You can find the kitchen library here.
It is definitely not supposed to be installed generally, but it has some quite useful scripts.
