Hi

I have a Word dot template which uses the WEXP functionality to export 'Doc Properties'. This works fine for the admin id but for another user it doesn't work at all. During the export, WEXP pops up the message that it is exporting the doc properties from DOORS to Word but for this 'normal' user, the values are not exported into the finished document. Is there any kind of security/access rights associated with WEXP doc property export (rest of the document is exported fine for this user)?

Thanks

For me it doesn't work either. I added the following line to the WEXP Document Properties module attribute:
Name->Title

Nothing appears in the Title property of the generated document.

Anybody knows what the problem may be?

I could not get the WEXP Document Properties export to work either with DOORS v7.1 and WEXP under T-REK v3.2.1. I have come up with a workaround though. The trick is to use Word's bookmarking feature to achieve the same effect. This involves creating a field in your Word document (CTRL-F9) and then inserting a bookmark definition: (SET Identifier="<>"). Then, simply use another field containing (REF Identifier) to instantiate the value. When this document is passed through WEXP, the bookmark definition gets populated and Word then instantiates it's value wherever it is referenced within the document. Has anyone else had problems with.

WEXP Document Properties is only functional in a very recent release of WEXP.

I'd advise you to contact Telelogic for an updated version with this feature working
