Found a solution on my own. Added a menu item, and I just keep the DXL for that item open in my editor.

Testing my DXL scripts is a bit cumbersome. I'm looking for a way to essentially write a bunch of unit tests in a single dxl file, then call one of them by executing the results of a text input box. any suggestions? Thanks.

Searching this forum, I found the Undocumented Functions thread, which notes a function called eval_() which does about what you'd expect
