Hi - I would like to print the module name and value of the Prefix attribute for all the modules in my project.

Farley - Thanks for your reply,I dont know if i doing some thing wrong - but when i run this script it wont return any ouput in the DXL output window

If you module prefix is blank you will see this behaviour.

I would recommend that you avoid using the "for module in project" loop. This construct is a left-over from DOORS 4 days. This only includes open modules. Even if you add "all" to the loop, it still only inlcudes modules at the top level of the project.

You should use the "for item in project" loop. This recurses through sub-folders and projects and will include every item below the current project.

You will need to check the type of each item.

Alternatively, use a "for item in folder" loop, a template for which is
here.
