I am new to DXL and DOORS and was wondering if any one had a script that would help me out. I am trying to multiply the values of three attributes(numeric) to come up with a product for another column. The attribute value would be of type enumeration, and could be a number selected between 1 and 5. The three columns would be Probability, Severity and Detection. The product of the three columns would be put in to a column RPN Score. I hope this is descriptive enough and I appreciate any solution/response that I can get. Thank You, Ryan

Hi Ryan,

this is an easy job with using Layout DXL
Please see attached code example ...
It should do what you need. You can insert it by creating a new column and choose Layout DXL ... Browse ... Current.

Greetings
Reik

Enumerated types have a set of "Value"s each of which has a "Related number". The DXL to do the multiplication is slightly different depending on whether you wish to multiply the "Value" or the "Related number". Edit the attached code as appropriate and put it in a Layout DXL column. I assume the attributes are single-value.
