One of our users got a serious-looking alert from Symantec Client Security this morning. It seems to think that DOORS is (or has) a Trojan horse. The full message was, "Security Alert created for Default Block Filenail Trojan horse rule."
Has anyone else run into this (or anything similar)? I checked his doors.exe (which it had the alert on) against my version and they were identical. Virus scan and Spybot (pending) come up with nothing. From what I can tell the firewall's problem was that it was using port 4567, which is used by this "Filenail" Trojan program. It seems to me like a false alarm, but then I wasn't aware that DOORS used that port..... Any ideas? Chris |

From that client, run the following to make sure that client is using the right database:
print "Normal 'Data' =\t" (getenv("data")) "\n" print "Icon 'Data =\t" (getenv("DOORSDATA")) "\n" Also: print "Normal 'Home' =\t" (getenv("d=home")) "\n" print "Icon 'Home =\t" (getenv("DOORSHOME")) "\n" - Louie |
