Answer:
Nandan,

A way to populate and expand an entire treeView at the same time is to do a "set" after each "insert", as in the following commands.

It works, but for large tree views, it gives some interesting screen updating effects.

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody knew how to expand a tree-view ? I need to display the lowest branches of the tree-view, also wondering if there is a way to loop through all the items in a tree-view ?

Has anyone also used or has information about the following functions related to tree-views :

void layoutDXL(DBE treeView)
attributeDXL ..
getDXLFileHelp, getDXLFileName
templates
getTemplateFileName

Thanks,

Thanks Michael,
Yes definitely works

As to avoid the visual effects while populating the tree, I am hiding the treeView for that duration. Seems better now.

hide tvwExplorer
call to populate tree
show tvwExplorer

Thanks,
