When you create a new column, the justification is not explicitly set by DXL, it must be set internally somehow, as you say from the justification of the last selected column. Anyway, you could add a little DXL to DOORSHOME/lib/dxl/standard/column/columnNew.dxl. This is the file with my addition. | |

I want to make it so that any new columns always default to being left aligned. Is there a way to do this? I know it normally takes the size and alignment of the column that was previously selected unless one was not selected.

You mean add it to file columNew.DXL?
Does the newly created column become 'selected' after its created? It seems that the previous column remains selected. - Louie |
