I have a multi valued enum attribute. When I export to CSV whenever I have mulitiple values the second value starts in the first column on the next line. Also any additional columns after the multi-valued attribute are put into the new row after the last value of the multi value.
Expected:
SRS-1234 Text IA FALSE TRUE
Actual
SRS-1234 Text I
A FALSE TRUE
Is this just a bug?

Are you using telelogic export tool or a custom written tool.

Yes I am using the TeleLogic export tool from the file/export menu.

In the csv file the enumerated values would be on seperate rows -- however in excel the values will show in correct column.
If they values do not show up in excel in correct column then the enumerated value has a character within it that doesn't not meet the csv formatting standard. |

I just checked this - the exporter puts the string in quotes if it contains any character that is not a digit.
I tested this and it works fine for multi-valued enums, even if the values are digits. ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com Edited: 15-Mar-2006 at 12:36 by Tony Goodman |
