Hi,
We created many scripts to help us work with DOORS.
Now we got to the place where we cannot use any CTRL shortcut keys, cause there aren't any left. We want to try using the F1-12. How can we add keyboard shortcuts using those? We use the idx file for that usually.
Thanks!

Hi Asaf,

If you still need to do this you can use the following list as a guide:

F1 - p
F2 - q
F3 - r
F4 - s
F5 - t
F6 - u
F7 - v
F8 - w
F9 - x
F10 - y
F11 - z
F12 - {

Insert the value in the idx file just like using the other Ctrl features.
Example:
filename _ { displayed name (this would give you Ctrl + F12)

Hi,

I would be interested to know what is the syntax for associating a CTRL key short cut to a DXL script in an idx file? I thought you could only associate ALT keys.

In the Example below the "A" is the Alt Key shortcut and the "{" is the Ctrl key shortcut. The { will be F12 giving the script a shortcut of Ctrl + F12 which can be executed at anytime from within the Module.

filename A { displayed name

Hope this helps,
Steve Valliere

I am not sure if it is documented, I found it out from a co-worker myself.
