Hi All,

I've been experimenting with trying to WEXP export into a table where there is an "Applicability" section. For each of 4 suppliers we want a symbol (Star, Diamond, etc.) as to whether the verification activities are applicable to them.

I've tried making an enum type where the "YES" option is say, Alt+0171 which for Windings is a 5 point star. But when typing "<<S1>>" into the template, and changing the font to Windings, it fails to export.

Anyone any ideas?

Possibly have a "User Displayable" YES/NO enum type then an Attribute DXL that converts it to an appropriate symbol, but there must be an easier way?

Any help appreciated, as always!

I have tackled similar issues by adding a macro to the Word template. The macro can be called from WEXP using the advanced button.

Cheers Martin,

Yep have started playing with this, I've written (OK recorded and customised) a macro to search for "@YES@" and replace it with ChrW(61556) (Which should be the diamond shape in Windings.) However although it works when recoring and doing it through the interface, it doesn't work when subsuquently running the VBA, seems to ignore the replacement font so I'm just left with a square character.

Any other suggestions?

Rob
