Hello DXLiens,
does anybody know how to change the name of an attribute in all Modules of a Folder?

You could use runAll.dxl to select an number of modules in your project you want to run a script on.

This means you don't have to change your code that acts upon the current module.

However, when you change the name of an attribute, any views containing columns showing that attribute will disappear from the views.

Attached is a library function that give you functionality to rename an attribute and modify all affected views appropriately...#include the file...the usage of the function is below.

Thanks Antonio,
but I already did it with my own script and yes I had to insert the column into the views but I had another script doing that for me!

Hi Antonio,
I tried your renameAttribute.dxl script and in the first dialogbox there should be a list with the attributes
one can choose to change but in my case this is empty!
I started the script in a Module and I don't have any clue why it won't work?
