I can't seem to find any references to the error dialog I get that says "Invalid combination of Multi-Volume control parameters" after I run the attached code in the DXL Interaction window:

It looks like the archive process is working (I see the progress bars), but no file is actually written. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The "true" in archive ("FDM","c:\\temp\\FDM.dpa", true) is actually needed only when you are archieving to removable disks - when that is changed to "false" the code runs fine and the archieve is created. Do not know why - maybe it is working as desgined, because you would not need to use span disks on hard disk or this is a somekind of bug in DOORS.

I have a game from 1989 that prompts for separate program and data drives.

Yes, "false" means don't span disks and works.

I suspect "true" means "stop every 1.44mb and initiate some multi-volumn swapping Windows capability", which is getting confused because the C drive is not a multi-volumn drive.

Lets all welcome Telelogic to the '90s.
