Answer:
Hi,
We would like to create a form that enable us to display certain DB elements, than by clicking a button, we want the elements to change.
Example:
We have a DBE called rich. initial type is richText.
We want to click a button and change the type to label.

is that possible?

Or delete the DBE and place a different DBE in its stead.
Which means to delete the DBE called rich of type richText, and create and show the DBE element called label2 of type label.

thanks.

You cannot change DBEs after creation.
Want you will need to do is hide and show DBEs as required.
You can create DBEs in the same place (on top of each other) and use hide and show to control what the user sees.
This is the way tabs are implemented. There is an active thread on this at the moment.
