With our DOORS 8.2 installation we are using External links to trace to other external documents that provide additional compliance evidence to our requirements. However when I publish the requirements view to DOORSNet I notice that the link indicators are missing.
In order to workaround this problem I thought we could create a dxl column (attribute or layout) that contained a copy of the URL for the external link as it seems that these are displayed and navigable. However I had a look at the dxl manual and I couldn't work out how to do it, seems like the "ExternaLink current" fucntion would do it but I can't get it to work. Any ideas ? Chris |
