I'm trying to create a user defined popup menu. I have had some success. If I put my files in the formalPopupFiles like the documentation says, it seems to work. But, only if I put the files on my hard disk. I'd like for everyone to get access to these menus so I'd like to put them on the network. If I put them just on the network, the menus don't show up. I'm not entirely sure how DOORS works but the way we have it set up, some of the files are located on the network and some are on your hard disk. Any ideas?

I've done something similar, though others have recommended against these types of implementations.

What I've done is placed an include file in each each of the folders where I want to or will want to create custom menus. This file includes the menu creations script that is stored on the network drive. I've had our IT guys update the image they use when building new computers with this setup. For existing computers we "pushed" the files using Unicenter. There were a few computers that Unicenter missed and we did those manually.

The nice thing about this putting the menu creation file on the network drive is that I can update it without the users having to take any action or IT doing anything.
