How I managed it I'm not sure but I have a link module without a name. When I try to delete it it tells me that, "Deletion of Test Failed, Invalid Lock Request - Data already locked" Test is the project that's contains the nameless one. If I try to open it i'm told that I don't have enough rights but I am the Administrator, go figure. How can I get rid of the nameless one. I've (non-destructively) been poking about in data\v6data and I can cause all manner of distruction but not what I need to do! Cheers, Charlie.

Its name is probably a space or two.

Try these things:
[1] As the Administrator, use Tools >Manage Locks and if the module is there unlock it.
[2] Open the module exclusive, load each linkset, and delete each one in turn.
[3] Open the module and run the dxl:
print "/m" (uniqueID(module current Module)) ".mod" // looks like '/m00003e62.mod'
That gives the name of the /hierarchy folder housing that module. Close the module. Go to that folder (in Windows Explorer), and search for all l*.dtc files. Delete them all. Then go back into DOORS and try to delete then purge the module.

Sounds like the right sort of thing but I the lock isn't listed and I can't open the link module. Strangely when I do: LinkModuleDescriptor linkModDesc for linkModDesc in (folder "/Test") do { print getName(linkModDesc) "" } I get /Test/RCLink which is what it should have been called in the first place. Odd no? BTW why can't I get an returns into my message? You have BR tags in the source of your message but I don't.
