Hello,
I was attempting to find the IDs for all of the locks on modules so that I can unlock everything. I used dbadmin -d 36677@server -locklist Nothing showed up even though I had one of the modules open. How come I can't see anything? Thanks, Mary |

Mary,
I created some locks by crashing DOORS 6.0 SR1 (Windows client and server). I can detect the locks with other lock management methods, such as running "Manage Locks" as the "Administrator" user, or using the following DXL. They do not appear when running the "dbadmin -locklist" command. Based on this testing, I have come to the conclusion that the "dbadmin -locklist" command does not work. If you need automated lock management, the DXL methods seem to be the way to go, perhaps in combination with running DOORS in batch. ------------------------- Michael Sutherland michael@galactic-solutions.com http://galactic-solutions.com |

Okay. I did manage to fix it. I forgot a line of code.
Thanks, Mary |

Mary,
Do you mean you were able to use the "dbadmin -locklist" command to detect the locks, or did you use DXL? ------------------------- Michael Sutherland michael@galactic-solutions.com http://galactic-solutions.com |
