Hi all,
I wish to loop through the formal modules in a given folder and extract the module level attributes for comparison in a search routine. The code snippet below enables the extraction of name, description etc but all attempts to extract the attribute values using itemRef fail. How is it possible to relate the itemRef to Module m so that the m."attribute" perm can be used? You didn't mention what version of doors you are using.
For doors 8.2+ look Here Else you will have to open the module to get attribute names. |

Hi Ron
I am using 8.3. If the referenced 8.2 perm is forward compatible I will try that tomorrow. Thanks Mark ------------------------- mark_williamson@synthesys.co.uk http://www.synthesys.co.uk ---------------------------------------- |

Hi Ron,
I've just tried the ModuleProperties perm quick and dirty and it works a treat.Hopefully I will now be able to compare the specific mp to a UI provided one for search criteria. Many thanks Mark ------------------------- mark_williamson@synthesys.co.uk http://www.synthesys.co.uk ---------------------------------------- |
