When I export to spreadsheet and then open the .csv file in Excel, all data is in column 1. Telelogic has reproduced the problem and is working on it. The problem is caused by an erroneous first character in the file. Opening the file with an editor which shows all and deleting this character solves the problem.
This problem was recently introduced when Telelogic added other language support. |

This problem has to do with the Excel version. Switch the encoding non-UTF to get it to work.

I also have experienced issues with CSV exports to include invisible characters in the files that only show up when imported back into a DOORS module.
Justin, could you or someone else give a bit more detail about how to switch to non-UTF for those of us who are Excel and/or Microsoft challenged? Thanks |

An easy way is: Open in Notepad and save with Encoding set to ANSI

Ron,
Sorry for the delay. I have been away for a couple of weeks. Thanks for your response, I'll give it a try. Ken |
