I used the "Link by Attribute" feature to link objects in two modules. The link operation was successful. But the link arrow does not show up in neither of the modules against the objects involved in the linking.
I verified that the View -> Show -> Link Arrows in the Modules' menu turned on. But the link arrow does not show up. Please let me know of any solution to this. Regards, Sri |

I think these arrows only show up when adjacent to the MAIN column. Pick the Standard view.
If you are seeing the main column but no arrows; then select an object that you think is linked, then go to the Link Menu>>Edit Links. You should see the links. If you don't then the link-by-attribute didn't work. I think LinkByAttribute requires that the absolute numbers be separated by returns: 123 234 1489; and I don't think there can be any trailing spaces. not like this: 123 234 1489. Also, its absolute numbers in the attribute, not object ids: BCS_123. If you see links when editing but not in the interface, then select each link in turn in the edit, but don't do anything with them. Close the edit link dialog and now do you see the links for that object? If so, you've got a "hidden link indicator" problem. I've written about that months ago here; search for some old post including "Louie" and "redisplay". - Louie |

Just a side note -
I've also found that if I do not have 'read' access to the link module, my link indicators will not show. Regards, Kim |

Louie,
Sorry to dredge this one up again, but I can't find your old posting. What was the solution to a "hidden link indicator" problem. Thanks, Hazel |
