We had DOORSnet installed with v7.1 but didn't use it. We did not install DOORSnet when we migrated to v8.1. IT wants to uninstall DOORSnet 'properly'.

I see that DOORS v7.1 no longer exists in 'Add/Remove programs', but notice the install directory and all the files are there.

I see the two disabled DOORSnet services which clearly need to be deleted.

I believe IT knows which ports DOORSnet was using and has closed them in the firewall.

Anything else I need to know about removing the disabled v7.1 DOORSnet from the server?

You can delete the services from the command line by using the -remove switch, e.g.

dnsesman -remove
doors -doorsnet "Service name" -remove

The installation files under tools/doorsnet can be deleted after this. That is all what is needed to get rid of DOORSnet.

More info in Managing DOORNet manual in the section "Starting a Server".
