Yes,

the 3rd parameter to the listView perm is for options.

listViewOptionCheckboxes - provides check boxes
listViewOptionMultiselect - makes it possible to select more than one item
0 - no check boxes or multi-select capability
listViewOptionCheckboxes| listViewOptionMultiselect - provides check boxes and multi-select capability
listViewOptionSortText - for use with the 'setSortColumn' perm

I have a very wide DBE multiList for a DB that I want to add a horizontal scroll bar to it. Is there a way to add one? According to the dxl manual, the scrollSet is for a canvas, not for a DB.

Can anyone here help???

Ed,

Using a single column listView element with option "listViewOptionMultiselect" would allow a horizontal scroll bar. The listView element is a bit more complicated to use, but much more versatile, than the multiList.
