Hi,
Has anyone got the unattended install for 7.1 to consistently work? 7.0 seems to work pretty well. I am copying over the files to the client's machine and running the install thru a batch file. Everything copies over and the install runs but often it aborts early and no programs install. Any suggestions would be welcomed. thx, Andrew |

Andrew,
No experience here with Unattended install, but a remark on DOORS 7.1 installation. Our experience is that 7.1 have the following irritating habit when being installed:
Apart from that, we forgot to back-up the standard DXL libraries, which contained a customised version of the Baseline script (this version updates an attribute containing link reference information to force link data to reflect exactly the linking status at the time of baselining). The 7.1 installer uninstalled 7.0, and with it this script. Not a real disaster, but it could have been prevented. ------------------------- Pieter de Waard www.nhindustries.com |

We've been experiencing the same thing. DOORS 7.1 seems to like to uninstall about 2/3 of our custom scripts and it leaves the others intact. Thankfully we have a backup of our scripts.
