I've run across mention of WEXP in these forums and it sounds like something that would be useful to me. Can anyone tell me specifically what it does and where to obtain a copy of it for DOORS v 7.1?
Thanks, Richard |

It is bundled as part of DOORS TREK. Ask your Account Manager about obtaining TREK licences.
This will then give you a fully Telelogic supported, Word Export tool. Alternatively, the author, Jeremy Dick may be able to help your Company out with a copy. mailto:jeremy.dick@telelogic.com WEXP is a very powerful and configurable Word exporter. It is a pity Telelogic cannot build the functionality into the standard tool with the API. For Table style exports, we mainly use the Galactic Excel exporter ( see http://www.galactic-solutions.com/GalacticDownloads.htm ) We particularly like the ability to shade heading rows etc. and makes very readable VCRIs etc. regards, ------------------------- Dave +44 (0)23 9270 5711 david.robbins@astrium.eads.net ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ EADS Astrium, Anchorage Road Portsmouth. Do you know how to set the column widths on WEXP exported tables?
|

WEXP sets the Word Column widths in proportion to the widths of the columns in the exported DOORS View. We generally export tables out on landscape using the 'WEXP Section Break' attribute. It stops the table getting crunched up onto a portrait page and loosing its proportions.
