Telelogic declare what, DOORS can be configured to use LDAP and Active Directory: -------------- LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) can be used for storing user information that DOORS can use. It can be useful for systems administrators and DOORS administrators to use one source for storing user information so that they do not have to manually enter this information for each application. -------------- In my organization we use LDAP (Active Directory) to manage users and groups. After we configure DOORS to use LDAP, we can not use the following standard DOORS features:
Root Location: Users: cn=Users, dc=ARTGROUP, dc=local Groups: cn=Users, dc=ARTGROUP, dc=local LDAP Server Connection: Server host: ldap_server Port: 389 Bind name: doors@ARTGROUP.local User attributes: DOORS username: cn System login name: sAMAccountName Email address: mail Group attributes: Group name: cn Group member: member ------------------------- Salmanov Ivan Project Manager +7 (095) 981-0530 #213 isalmanov@artezio.com Artezio, LLC Address: Gubkin Street, Suite 3G, Moscow, 119333, Russia Tel.: +7 (095) 981-0531 #213 Fax: +7 (095) 232-2683 www.artezio.com Edited: 15-Jul-2005 at 06:33 by Ivan Salmanon |
