Has anyone had issues with Exporting a relatively large module (5850 objects) with text and tables. We are getting conflicting errors between word and DOORS to the point of ceasing the export and messing up the word instance to the point of corrupting the event log file under admin tools. Seems to be memory related, but we have 2G of RAM. Any exporting ideas?

Some errors follow:
1. Word table issue "Table is corrupt" - However, not always with a table
2. OLE method failure points to memory or disk problem - However, usually dies at text or table.

Thanks very much,

Word is Word and the export function in DOORS functions based on OLE, so it will consume a lot of memory and it also seems that for large modules the export will have problems.

In the advanced section there is a check box to save the Word file being exported every X objects, the default is to save the file every 100 objects. Maybe this helps?

I would export large modules always to RTF, if it is suitable, RTF export seems to be more robust than Word export.

This probably isn't your problem, but there was some talk about signifacant performance improvement when you turn off Spelling and Grammer checks in Word. IIRC, you can do that in Word itself saved in Normal.dot (is it the 'check spelling as you type' option?), and if you are writting your own exporter there is some ole command to do it for you.
