Answer:
Thank you very much. The script runs fine on one module but on another that has many baselines I get an error message. For some reason this group has created 20 minor baselines and no major baselines so I adjusted the arry bounds for MAXBASELINES =30 and everything seems to be working well.

Thanks for all you assistance.

I am having an issue with this version of the History column dxl I received from Professional Services. There is an eror message about not having the kitchen file available. I want have some of our QA folks use this but we have a strict IT department and they won't normally allow the Kitchen scripts to be added to a PC (I am the exception) and this script has include statements for Kitchen icons. Is there another version that has been modified to work around this problem?

You could just replace the icon its looking for with one of your own, create the directory and file its looking for, or not use it at all.

The easy fix is to copy another icon file thats a .bmp image, create the directory

C:\Program Files\Telelogic\DOORS_8.1\lib\dxl\addins\kitchen\icons\

and paste that bmp file into that directory, renaming it the proper name.

My real issue is that our IT department is pretty strict and I do not have administrator permissions to add anything in the Program File directory on the PCs in our QA department. Therefore I cannot add any .bmp files. I need to eliminate the need for the icons but my ability to edit the script and yank out only the calls for the icons is sketchy at best.

In the future I may need to let others use this script so making it easier to transport without adding any .bmp files on individual PCs is the best option.

Looking at it more, it doesn't look like you can just take out the icon bit. The layout DXL code for the columns it makes references files in the kitchen directory too. So without those files, you'd have to change all that code. And I don't know exactly what all that code does. From the description of the deltabuff.inc file, it sounds similar to the delta.inc file now in the example/include/ directory. But its not something I can just quickly modify for you.

Now if you just want a tool that can show a layout column with rich text markup of the differences in an attribute between the current module and a previous baseline, I can get you that.

Yes - that would be wonderful and most generous of you.
