Edit the text of any object. Right click while in edit mode and you'll see options for Bold, Italics, Subscript, etc. One option says, "Reconvert." What is this? There seems to be nothing in the help.
When I use it, it appears to do nothing. Anyone know, or have any ideas? I thought it would make a richText string into a regular string, but it does not. ------------------------- Kevin Murphy http://www.baselinesinc.com |

Strange, I don't have that entry. What I have (DOORS 7.1) is 'Reset to default' which resets the attribute to it's default value.

Frank--I've got "Reset to Default" as well. Reconvert shows up before "Reset to Default."
I'm on DOORS 8.1. So no one has an idea...glad it isn't just me for once. ![]() ------------------------- Kevin Murphy http://www.baselinesinc.com |

I've wondered about that option too.
If you right-click on an OLE object in Word (for example), there is an option (I think under a sub-menu) for "Convert". I always presumed they were similar (rich-text related somehow), although now that I think about it I don't know if there's any basis for that presumption. Chris "the speculation king" |
