Answer:
Take a look at the "DOORS window control>Module menus" section in the DXL Reference manual.

Attached is a sample file you can place in the "$DOORSHOME/lib/dxl/config/formalPopupFiles" folder to add an "Undelete" option when right-clicking on an object in formal modules.

You could always use switches in a short cut., e.g.

In target: "C:\Program Files\Telelogic\DOORS 7.1\bin\doors.exe" -a "\\\MyAddins\Module Addins".

within \Module Addins have an IDX file with the name of the scripts to be included in the menu, and a hlp file.

All explained in DXL help menu.

thanks for those answers. Roger solution is ok but I have an other problem that is closed to Ewen answer. My file is in $DOORSHOME/lib/dxl/config/formalPopupFiles folder on a local computer. But now, I have to target a remote folder on the network. -a switch doesn't seem to work like for addins, is there an other option to point to a remote directory to replace my local folder ? thank you in advance, TEULIER Nicolas

Ah HA! If you could do that then you could deploy stuff much easier. Your options seem to be limited to [1] updating the "addins" registry to add menus [2] Modify the Formal.dxl to "createItems" etc (this allows project-sensitive stuff) [3] Insert desired files into the Client's folders. [2] and [3] require modifying the DOORS installs which is technically tricky and politically undesirable.

You may have some luck inserting an "#include" statement onto everyone's client once, and then modify this included file on the network. But then DOORS won't run if the network file is unavailable.

Don't think you can do it.
