Hi All,
I am using DOORS 8.1. I was wondering if their is a method in DXL that allows us to find the details of the Baseline Set definition and its version (the version that comes when you create a Baseline Set) that is assosiated to a baseline set. I need this as i have a module that is assosiated with mutiple baseline sets. I want to assosiate the versions of the modules to versions of specific baseline sets. Request your help. Thanks and Regards Srikanth |

Hi Irfan,
Thank a lot for your response. But what i am looking at is something different. I would want to Assosiate a baseline of a Module (version of a module) to a version to baseline set version. To eloborate i have a module which is part of multiple baseline set definitions .( while i create a version of the Baseline Set DOORS creates a baseline of the module) ..now i would like to assosiate each baseline to a specific version of the baseline set. The code does not provide the same , it helps me to iterate to through the modules of an assosiated Baseline Set. Hope i have eloborated my requirement. Thanks Srikanth.R |

Hi Srikanth,
The reverse tracking is not handled I guess. If a module is associated with multiple baseline sets, it gets its version number based on the number of baselines it has undergone. From just haveing a look at the version of a module, we cannot find out its BS version I guess. The BS version and the Module version might not be the same. If any one else has other thoughts in this, I would like to learn from that. But as per my knowledge, there is no way. My understanding - If you know the BS version, then you can find out the versions of all the modules within that set. The reverse, to my understanding, is not possible. Regards Irfaan |

Srikanth, your point also sounds a bit logical. There needs to be some association from a BS version to a module version. But I dont know if tehre is a way to find out that.
