Hi all,

I am currently preparing for a release of my project that is written in DXL, it is made up of 120 or so .INC files and one main .DXL script.

I would like to encrypt the files before they are released to protect the proprietary information and functions they contain, but I am reluctant to give the code to Telelogic for encryption because of IPR issues.

Does anyone know of a 3rd party encoder that allows the encryption of INC file and DXL files which would mean that I can encode it myself? I've heard something about a program called QCrypt, but I can't find it myself.

Regards

Hugh Johnson

Qcrypt look like it uses native DOORS functions to encrypt the files. If they can do it I am sure someone out there has information about how we can do it.

no such DXL interface exists, but it would seem like a reasonable enhancement request.
QLS must have got hold of DOORS source code or the "batchcrypt" utility used in DOORS production.

I own a license of Qcrypt, and highly recommend it.
