I am working on some database maintenance scripts. Is it possible to get from a DXL script, project creation date?

Marc,
I do not believe this is possible, as project/folders don't contain date information. What you could do, though, is go through each module in the Project, read its created on date (maybe put it into an Array or Skip), and then figure it out from there. Keep in mind that when modules are copied from other modules via copy/paste, the created on attribute for the copied module is not the date it was created, but rather the date that the module copied from was created. At least, this is how it was on DOORS 7.1. ------------------------- Kevin Murphy http://www.baselinesinc.com The Requirements Management Experts |

Hi,
Many thanks for your answers, I think that the solution proposed by Tony Goodman is the only possible one, but unfortunately, I have no access to files of DOORS database... So I'll wait. Perhaps someday, TELELOGIC will make this attribute available. |
