I appear to be unable to see module locks for modules that I have open in Exclusive or Shared edit. My account is a Database Manager account and I could see these earlier today. I had a crash that I believe may have screwed things up. We tried reinstalling the client and restarting the server but neither worked.

Not only do the locks not appear in the "Manage Locks" window, they also do not appear when trying to get the locks on a module programatically through DXL.

Has anyone seen this and know how to fix it?

David,

I have seen this situation on occasions. The way that I have solved the probelm is to login as either the administrator or under a second database administrator account. Then you should be able to see the locks.

Well Telelogic's response is this is the way its supposed to be. I can understand it being that way for standard users, but it shouldn't be for Database Managers and Admin. And on any account you should be able to see them programatically. That way you can see if you have a lock on a module without looping through the database for open modules.
