In our DOORS integration we'd like to be able to display tables in a layout column.
Unfortunately, displayRich() does not seem to format cells correctly in RTF tables. If a cell has multiple lines of text in it the lines just draw off the end of the screen instead of wrapping, etc. Plan B was to turn the tables from RTF into images and then just display the image. But we're getting stuck on a clean solution to perform the transformation. Has anyone out there solved this problem? Thanks, Glenn |

Don't have the answer to this, but it's related.
I want to display a table, actually a row in a table as ONE requirement, i.e., one object. Right now, I have a table from a MS Word import that has 26 rows in it, representing 26 possible errors and the system's and display response. Do I have to manually change each of these rows to a text requirement, as a sentence. or can I run a DXL script on it that would convert each row to a requirement? What's your idea on this?

Hi Diminique
the kitchen library contains a script which transforms table rows into Object Text, one object per row. Regards, Peter |

Ron -- Thanks for the pointer!
We've got a customer that already has some of their tables as OLE objects. But some of their tables are already DOORS tables. So, if there's another solution out there for DOORS tables, we'd appreciate other suggestions as well. Thanks in advance. Glenn |

Peter, can you reference me to this intriguing thing called a 'kitchen library'. I imagine it has something to do with our DXL scripts and ours Users Conference, but I don't know what.
Thanks Alice |
