Hi all, i have a problem with a locked section in a proposal-module. It seems that somebody created a cp via doorsnet and the used section in the proposal-module was not unlocked properly. I tried to unlock the section manully using unlockSaveAll(current Object), but the function fails. I also tried to lock it using lock(current Object), but it fails with the following message: /Basis/Change Proposal System/Proposals 1 locked (unshared) by langth@MYSCHUFAW2K2 at 09/04/07 12:05:45. any idea what i can do? thanks thomas

Hi Thomas,

try to use "Tools -> Manage Locks..." from Doors main window. It seems to be yourown lock, so you should be able to remove it, even if you do have administration rights.

BTW: The function unlockSaveAll is used, if you have locked the section within the current session. It cannot remove locks from other sessions.
Greetings
Reik

Hi Thomas,

do you have database manager rights on your database?
I'm not sure, if haven't them, which locks you can see and which not.

As databasemanager, you should be able to see all locks from all users!

I have no other idea too

Greetings
Reik

Hi Thomas
Do you have a copy of "Kitchen" tools use Access rights .. "Remove specific access rights from objects within View"

This I use to correct these locks, often caused during Share use.

best regards

I am kind if curious if this could be a lock on the file system that will not be removable through the DOORS interface.

If all else fails, you could reboot the DOORS server.
