Anyone have any ideas on this one ? I'm not sure where to start or if it is even possible?
Within my company we have a web based workflow application (intranet) that manages the status of a given change request.
Since I know how to formulate the url for a given change request, I can already use DXL to trigger windows to launch Internet Explorer, and pass the url to explorer. In that case the desired web page opens to display the status of the change request.
What I would like to do instead, is to send a request to the web server in such a way that rather than displaying the page in a web browser, it returns the source code for that page back to DXL. Since the page is in html format, I can then parse the page source to extract the status value and display it in my DXL application.
Any ideas?
Regards
Andrew.
