Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to customize the prefix of the requirements, i.e assigning different prefixes for different chapters in the module like; STRD-111-10, STRD-111-11,... and for a different chapter STRD-222-12 and so on. Thanks in advance Ziya |

The module attribute 'Prefix' defines the prefix and any changes to it are reflected in all the object identifiers.
Your example suggests that you want to keep the module prefix intact, but insert a chapter identifier.
I'd go for some dxl to build your own identifier from the prefix, a chapter tag (derived from the last para number that defines the chapter break) and the absolute number.
An alternative is to put each chapter in its own module, and define the module prefix as apprpriate. Useful if each chapter applies to a different units, not so useful for different groupings, (ie environmental, support, customer etc)
I do question the need for using a chapter reference. If a requirement were moved from one chapter to another would you redefine the identifier, and all the other requirements and tests that refer to it as well?
