I have a script that will compare two attributes and display in a layout dxl column the differences. What I'm looking for is a code snippet that will show strikethrough in the dxl column object text that has been softdeleted.

Right now the code just shows the text with no changes. Thanks in advance

Go to your DOORS directory and go to /lib/dxl/example/histcol.dxl

That is an example that does what you're trying to do.

this dxl script has a limitation: deleted of moved objects are not portrayed as changes

I'm trying to overcome that limitation

I guess you are using 'diff' comparing two buffers. How about just checking if the object his deleted and then replace the corresponding buffer with an empty string. That's at least what I've done in a similar situation.

Hi Jobina, Hi David,

I would suggest to replace the displayRich by displayRichWithColor

so you will get something like this ...

Greetings
Reik

P.S.: The part with solft deletion I do not understand
If you have soft deleted an Object the hold Object is marked as deleted, not only one attribute?!
