I nominate the following DXL perm as the most useless feature of the language:

bool canRead({Item i|Folder f})

The manual says "Returns true if the current DOORS user can read the item or folder specified by the argument. Otherwise, returns false".

But, if the user does not have read access to the item then you get a DXL error stating that the item parameter is NULL!
