Answer:
Ok, we finally found the problem--a corrupt installation, lacking the etc directory which provides the zip and unzip programs which are external to doorsd.
Jast a pity that DB check does not currently detect corrupted modules, only the client when trying to open it:-(

Hi all,

we have doors DB server on a Sun V490 running under Solaris 10 with clients 8.1p8 and 8.2p1 on Windows XP.

8.1 is fine, but 8.2 fails to archive/restore module (from 8.1) through any of the clients or through the server. The restore operation does not complain, but opening the restored module results in an error popup (File not found: .../types.dtc). Archiving comes with a "No such file or directory" popup, giving a path on the *server* (although I am doing client-based archiving!). Archive on server also fails.

Apart from ongoing correspondence with Telelogic support, I am curious to find out if anyone else is successfully or unsuccessfuly using this setup.

best regards,
Dietmar
