I am trying to set up a partition so that our administrator can practice various database schemas without corrupting the 'real' database.
But I get so many error messages from 'out of nowhere', I'm about to give up.  And no explanations that I can find.  I had ADVANCED training and partitions weren't even taught.
Here are a few:  Any ideas?

1. Partition export failed: Couldn't lock module /GUI/System Requirements
2. Warning: If you continue with this operation, anyone to whom you have given this partition will never be able to return it.  Are you sure you want to recover the partition. ....?

3. Rejoin failed: File does not contain a returned partition.

I can't even OPEN the partition on my desktop, much less edit it.  HELP!!!

I don't work with partitions but it seems as though you, the person making the partiion, lacks full access to that Sys Req module, and perhaps that's because someone has it open Exclusive or Shared; perhaps you.

Now you, or someone else, can have that open when you open a module that has links connecting that module. Now it should open it Read invisibly, but maybe not. Check out the Explorer Tools >Manage Open Modules (you and the other user). You, as an admin, can also Tools >Manage Locks and see everyone's locked modules. If you see your module in either list you can deal with it.
