For the most simple export into Word, the built-in exporter supports the "Paragraph Style" attribute. You can set it to e.g. <InvalidTag Text:yourStyle> and voilĂ , the Object Text is formatted in style "yourStyle". The drawback is that this does only work for Object Heading and Object Text, and for no other attribute. For more fancy exports, there are mainly three possibilities:
a) write your own export routine. Obviously, there are some people in this forum who have successfully done this, so it is possible. I never dared b) Use WEXP. This is a set of DXL routines you can get from your Telelogic representative. It is for free, however, it comes with no support from Telelogic. It is quite powerful, though. The basic idea is that you set up a Word Template file, in which you can assign styles to any combinations of attributes you want to export, and you assign those templates to individual objects. It can give impressive results, but needs significant time to get used to. I use it now and am happy with it. c) Use DocExpress. This is the Telelogic equivalent to WEXP. Costs a lot of money, but you get support in exchange. I only tried it shortly once, and as I am happy so far with WEXP, did not continue to use it. Regards, Peter |
