I use .idx files to organize addin menus. But, can you also use the .idx files to organize the Layout DXL window? Would you use the same .idx file format? What becomes of the hot-key assignement stuff (Alt+, Ctrl+)? What about break lines (----)? Right now, my Layout DXL seems to show up in alphabetical order by filename... actually alphabetical order by the first line in each .dxl and .hlp file. I guess I could try some trial and error, but I thought I would ask....

The DXL Manual describes the .idx file format as follows, but it seems to reference only addins.

This example is the first four lines of file $DOORSHOME/dxl/addins/acme/acme.idx:

comps C _ Component book
template T _ Templates
---------------------------
parsers I _ Input parsers
