Is there a way to populate CP attributes (such as reason for change, status, etc.) dynamically in the formal requirements module its tied to?

The CP modules have attributes 'CP Attr - Reason For Change' and 'CP Attr - Status' and these apply to CPs. Are you saying you want the the folks reading the requirements to easily see info on all currently active CPs against these requirements? All recently applied CPs?
You don't want to even try to patch the CP system such that when a CP changes status, that info is updated in the linked source requirement object. You probably want a DXL Attribute that follows all CPS links and summarizes the CP it finds at the other end of the link. Display this attribute in a column in the Req module. - Louie |

Louie's suggestion is best - you don't want to be changing stuff in the requirements module.
The following is some layout DXL that will display CP stuff in a column in the requirements module. ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |
