Hi,
Is anyone here using Merant/Serena Professional Version Manager (formerly PVCS) integrated with Doors? Integrated with any other version control system? I'm just wondering if there are any issues, and how useful it is.... Wendy |

We use the Merant Dimensions integration with one of our largest projects. It has a fairly steep learning curve but seems to cover version management and change control thoroughly.

How do you control access to formal modules - ie. how do you ensure that changes can not be made unless there is an authorised change request?

Hi,
I'm not sure I understand the question.... We have a formal CM process that controls changes, but it is not controlled by permissions in Doors. That may change soon however, as our group of users is about to double.... Wendy |
