Anyone know how to change the 'label' of a defined DBE? Not talking about the 'label' DBE itself, I mean if you do this:
dbeField = field(db, "Title", "Initial", 20, true) Can I later change "Title" to something else" - Louie |

No, don't think you can Louie.
You can create more than one DBE in the same place on the dialog and use hide() and show() to display the one you want, but you knew that already. ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |

When I have this issue, I just use two DBEs. A label and then the other DBE and put them one beside the other. You can change the text of a label DBE using the set command.

That's exactly what I would have said yesterday if I could have made the forums work then

Yeah I think when they redesigned the website, they forgot to put a link to the forums on the product support page. What's annoying me now is I have to log in every time so I can't have a shortcut directly to the forums anymore.

Having a little trouble lining up the label DBE with the main DBE (that has no 'label'); actually having trouble lining up the sibling DBEs that follow. Guess I could define a Label DBE that overlaps exactly with the main DBE, and be sure to 'show' the label and the modify its value.
Thanks. - Louie |
