Hi all, of those of you work in the Automotive Industry, do you see any potential value in an Automotive-focused interest group?

Amy,
I, of course, am interested. Are you talking about DOORS/Synergy/Tau specific issues, or Systems Engineering issues in general (which might be handled better by building up the INCOSE workgroup dedicated to such tasks). I was hoping there would be such a meeting at the July INCOSE symposium, but there was not. At the recent Telelogic UGC, one of the executives made an announcement about a new high-level person that was being added to the Telelogic executive team. This person is said to have extensive Automotive experience, and will be focused in that area. I don't have any more details than that. ------------------------- Michael Sutherland michael@galactic-solutions.com http://galactic-solutions.com |

Yeah, I heard about that announcement too. I think it is a step in the right direction. In my mind, I would hope they would focus on tools-related issues as opposed to Systems Engineering issues.
