When running the analysis wizard to display link information to other modules, extra columns are created with info on the Module name and the Object ID of the link object. How do I display the Object Text (and ohter columns like External ID number) as well?

You just select those attributes to display when you go through the analysis wizard.

It sounds like you're just accepting the defaults. Specifically step 4 of the analysis wizard.

The operative word in the question is "MODULES".  If you run the analysis wizard against ONE module you can choose from all attributes defined in that module.  However, if you run the analysis wizard against more than one (i.e., 'all open modules' or 'all modules') you can only choose from the DOORS default set of attributes.  (DOORS ver 6 had a nice bug whereyou could get around this linitation but it was fixed in ver 7).

With some DXL knowledge, this limitation can be gotten around.

I answered Alie's question in the most straightforward way possible. However, since you corrected me...

Alie, go through the analysis wizard like you have been doing and only select to see Object Identifier and Object Text.

When the layout DXL is inserted, right-click the column and choose Properties, and click Browse, then click Current, scroll to the bottom and replace "Object Text" with the attribute you wish to see.

Not knowing anything else about your DXL level of expertise, if you run into problems with this, you need to see a DOORS admin or hire someone who knows this stuff.
