Hi all,

I am not sure whether I am missing the obvious, but I just don't get WEXP to export Word fields as I like:

I just want a SEQ field to auto-number a series of TBCs. From the documentation I would guess that an "Object Text" à la

"This or that is TBC{SEQ TBC}."

should do the trick.

But no, the text gets exported as is, with literally the SEQ statement, and no field.

However, if, following the WEXP documentation, I am putting a line like this into an Object's "Object Text":

{ INCLUDEPICTURE "c:\\temp\\image{ SEQ Slide }.gif" }

and provide a file "c:\temp\image1.gif"

then the image is properly inserted.

So the problem is not with Word fields in general, but the SEQ field alone, i.e. not embedded into the INCLUDEPICTURE field.

Humm.

Are not all field codes supported? Am I doing an obvious mistake in the first case? Any help is much appreciated.

BTW, this is done using DOORS 7.0 and WEXP 11.4

Cheers,

Peter
