![]() Answer: The Object IDs are "hard coded" each time an object is created. There is a way around this though. We tell our users to create their modules in a "Playground" then when they have it to their liking, copy the objects into a brand new module. Your Object IDs will start at 1 and no one will know the trouble you had. | |

Is there any way to renumber the ObjectIDs? I have a draft document...through various edits, imports, and...ahem...mistakes, my ObjectIDs start at 5000 or so. While I suppose this isn't a huge issue, since the document hasn't been formally released I'd like to renumber the IDs. I tried both copying and cloning the module. Cloning didn't seem to clone any of the actual "leaves", only the headings. Is there anyway to copy or archive/import my module to a new one with "better" ObjectIDs?
Thanks for any advice! Brant |

Aha! Thanks - I didn't think of copying the objects themselves into an empty module.
