I am hoping that someone out there may be able to offer some advie, I searched the forums but found nothing on this. I am using DOORS 7.1, build 71118.

In one specific module I find that when attempting to access the Object Properties or the Edit Links (of any object in the module) that I immediately get booted out of DOORS. The application shuts down, all open windows/modules close without any sort of error message.

I am able to open up the Edit Attributes as well as the Module Properties without any problem.

From what I can see this module only contains outlinks. I am able to follow the links to another module (to the inlinks) and the module with the in-links does not have the same troubles.

Has anyone else encountered this? Can anyone direct me?

Thank you in advance!

I have seen this behavior in 8.0 also. I was near the end (looming deadline) of a project so I couldn't investigate completely. However, I fixed it by deleting some old legacy Attribute DXL's that likely caused the problem. I have also seen this happen applying certain filters, again suspect attribute DXLs caused the problem. Deleteing the old DXL attributes cleaned up the issue here too?

Dan, thank you for the response. I will try searching attributes and deleting dxl.

Good to know you experienced it in 8.0 also as we are looking to move to that version in the near future.
