Anybody know how to use the "related number" property of Enumerated attributes, in order to do sorts and filters?

I suspect there's a difference between single and multi enumerated attributes.

In this case we've got a huge list of diagrams, many are type "0" (related number), others are type "1". User wants to find objects that use any type "1" diagram.

I'm sure I could do it with DXL, but would rather not.

Do a filter where your filter rule is: attribute value is greater than your zero value (or some of your zero values, if you have many of those) - thus it shows all objects where the enumerated attribute has related number of 1.

Guess I went brain dead. Even though the filter displays the options in their declared order, it still uses the Related number in the filter, and presumably also the sorting. I suppose this only works for single-enumerated attributes, preventing one from querying a multi-enumerated "show me objects that includes some value ABC or higher".

Too bad you cannot use the related values directly; rather than using some enumerated string and having to know its value.

Yes, the Related numbers also work for sorting.
