![]() Answer: Jenny, DB = dialog box DBE = dialog box element Both are data types, and support the creation of interactive interfaces to DXL scripts. In such a DXL script, there will normally be one main dialog box, with each interactive element (fields, checkboxes, etc.) attached to it as a dialog box element. Most of us that build DXL scripts have learned to build dialog boxes by refering to the "DXL Reference Manual", and looking at the examples provided by Telelogic in the $DOORSHOME/lib/dxl directory. | |

I've been trying to learn DXL, and I've been seeing DB & DBE variables in the scripts that I've looked at. I managed to find that these are Database Elements, but I can't find exactly what they do. Can someone point me to some documentation or explain what DB & DBE do?
Thanks. ~Jenny |
