Our view in DOORS is that of explorer in a hierchial format. Clearly shows children of projects. In DOORSnet, the view shows everything at the same level. How can i change this veiw>
Also, projects are duplicated in DOORSnet but not in DOORS. How can this be fixed? Can I assign a user publishing rights for the database which will allow them to have publishing rights for any folders they add? Or do publishing rights have to be assigned on each and every new folder/project? ![]() |

Pam.
I don't think you change change views in DOORsnet, but by default in the project tree, things are shown hierachically, if I rememeber correctly. I suggest that you check what's published. - i.e highlight parent project in DOORS->Tools->Doorsnet->Publish. If for some reason the required children are not shown, and you have checked that they should be published then , in DOORS:- Navigate in the DOORS explorer to the parent project ->Tools -> DOORSnet ->Tick publish parent Project publish-> All children. T Then, if already in DOORSnet , select refresh, or log-in and check all children are published. Then go back into DOORs and unpublish any you don't want published. You should now see the desired list and hierarchy in DOORSnet. I'm assuming you're using DOORS 7.1 and DOORSNEt 7.1 In the DOORS Explorer-> View->Project View. Then you'll see the projects twice. Or in DOORS Explorer->View->Database View. You should now see the projects only once. Then log into DOORSnet or select refresh I think you can do the former, providing they have the necessary DOORS permissions on the child projects in question. Ewen Miller QinetiQ |
