One of our users inserted a huge bitmap (1.33 mb) in object as a pictures, which caused an error when main column was in the view. Problem only occured when the immediate objects around the offending object were on current screen. The offending object never could be viewed.

I deleted the pictures from the object with a dxl script and reinserted bmp as an ole object which solved the problem.

An update.

I not able to recreate the bug in another installation of DOORS. Therefore it appears my fix was just a workaround and not a solution to the predominate problem. Diagnostics is in process.
