We used to use DOORS 5.2, where print preview and printing straight from DOORS to a printer worked quite well.

Now, with 7.1 (bld 71102), printing (and print previews) of large modules takes an age (if it succeeds at all), and I mean an age. I left a 2000-object module for over two hours and it still showed no signs of previewing anything.

With smaller modules the print will eventually succeed, but some displayed attributes are omitted, but only with certain objects. I can't see anything different about these objects ot attributes, they are not empty, there are no OLE objects associated with the Object Text.

Frankly it's completely baffling.

(Additionally, it'd be really handy if the output - when it works - could be resized to fit on a page width. As far as I can see there are no fit-to-width options available).

The memory requirements for DOORS 7 is greater than for earlier versions of DOORS. Add lots of memory to your PC then try.
