Hi,

Is anyone here using Merant/Serena Professional Version Manager (formerly PVCS) integrated with Doors? Integrated with any other version control system?

I'm just wondering if there are any issues, and how useful it is....

We use the Merant Dimensions integration with one of our largest projects. It has a fairly steep learning curve but seems to cover version management and change control thoroughly.

How do you control access to formal modules - ie. how do you ensure that changes can not be made unless there is an authorised change request?

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand the question.... We have a formal CM process that controls changes, but it is not controlled by permissions in Doors. That may change soon however, as our group of users is about to double....
