Hi All,
I have created a form that retrieves and displays in a list box that display the list of current doors users and groups. This is used by users to chose some specific users. It is similar to the 'Edit Groups' window in DOORS. The problem is when this form is used by Standard Users. they are not able to see the users eventhough the Groups get displayed in the list box. As a workaround, I have to maintain the user information in a separate DOORS module that needs to be updated regularly to add new users. The list box is then populated with information from thsi module. This is a tidious method ! Is there any other workarounds to it ? Best Regards, Madhubanti |

Hi Madhubanti,
did you checked the access rights of groups in your database? There is the possibility to hide groups from users by applying special rights to it. Greetings Reik ------------------------- Evosoft GmbH for Siemens Industry Sector Berlin, Germany |

Hi Reik,
The Problem is not with the groups but it lies in the fact that the users are not getting listed. I need both the users and groups to be displayed in the list so that users may choose a specific user or group from the list. Is there something we can do in the script so that standard users can view the list of users? like a silent admin login to doors to fetch user information to doors ?
