Hi All,
I have created a form that retrieves and displays in a listbox all the DOORS users and groups so that Users can select from the list. But the problem is that when a standard user uses the form he does not have the list of users populated due to insufficient access rights. As a workaround I have a DOORS module that stores all the User information ( this needs to be updated regularly) from where the list box fetches the information. But this is rather tidious... Is there anything else that can be done on this ? Regards, Madhubanti |

Hi Madhubanti,
I can not really understand your request ![]() When I try to display user information as standard user, there is no problem. You could try attached code: Greetings Reik ------------------------- Evosoft GmbH for Siemens Industry Sector Berlin, Germany |

Hi Reik
Thanks for your help. I realised that a Standard User does have access to some attributes in the DOORS user database while to some attributes like the "systemLoginName" he does not have access. I was trying to use the user.systemLoginName and compare it with user.name and display the value only when both are equal. We come across the error : "-R-E- DXL: <Line:5> User/Group directory error: You do not have sufficient privileges -I- DXL: execution halted" |
