Hi all,
using 8.1 (but I think the same is for 8.3) I came across a defect concerning Baseline Sets which I believe is well known (and it goes at least under the Defect ID: SH5019621 )
The user interface does not allow you to have a given baselined version of a module to occur in more than one BaselineSet.

Since we're trying to use the baseline number as the real document number (which is contractually binding), we can't afford to increase the baseline of a module (with no changes) every time a new baseline set needs to be made.

I had a chat with the folks in Edinborough, who conceded this is a limitation, and yet it is not clear when this is going to be fixed.

Before I delve into DXL handling of baseline sets, I was wondering if anybody knows that DXL could solve this issue.

TIA

Michele
