Hi!

I am currently testing interfacing to DOORS from another application (using the DOORS C API). I am starting DOORS in batchmode with an emulated dxl server ("batchserver.dxl" script in chapter 3 of the DOORS API Manual). It works fine if I just use the regular dxl calls, but if I try to use the "replyAPI" function to trigger a callback to the client application I always get the error "DXL server not started".

If I instead create a server in the DOORS interactive mode (using evalTop_ "initDXLServer server 5093") it works just fine.

Is there any thing I forgot to do or is the "batchserver.dxl" script just not emulating all of the interactive dxl server's functionality?

Thanks
/Mattias

Hi, This would be very interesting to me, too. So if someone solved this problem please let me know. Thanks, Andreas
