Hello,
I want to get the user name who has opened a certain module. But unfortunately I have not found a function which gets e.g. a reference to a module and returns the user name who has opened it. Can anyone give me an advice? Perhaps this function does not exist, because the build in function for managing open modules does not report the user name, too? Many thanks in advance. Olivier,
You need to use the locklist. scroll through all the locks in the database checking if the module is yours if it is, you can access the username using the user property. You want to reference the "lock manager" section in the dxl help file. ------------------------- Regards, Richard Good |

The attached function will report what locks users have on a module.
There is no way that I know of to find out who has modules open read-only. ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |
