I wrote the attached code to find all the attribute definitions for object in a module. The list does not contain Object Text, Object Heading and Object Sub Heading. Am I missing something? |

I'm doing:
string attributeName for attributeName in currentModule do { attributeList[attributecnt++] = attributeName (I'm putting them in an array for use in a DB list) } And I'm getting Object Heading and Object Text. Do you mean Object Short Text instead of Object Sub Heading? Because thats the third one I'm getting with the word "Object" as the first word. You shouldn't need to do: print (atr.name) "\n" Just do: print atr"\n" ------------------------- David Pechacek AAI Services Textron dpechacek@sc-aaicorp.com David.Pechacek@gmail.com Edited: 12-Dec-2006 at 18:53 by David Pechacek |

Object Text, Object Heading etc are defined by DOORS, thus the if (atr.system) is true, look for e.g. in the DXL Help for "Attribute definition properties"

Thanks for the response. Yes, it is Object Short Text instead of Object Short Heading. I modified the code as attached and this works.
Even though the Object Text, Object Short Text and Object Heading are listed as attributes for Object, somehow they were getting filtered by the previous code. print atr "\n" is not working. I am getting an error while running the code. |
