We have noticed several soft deleted objects which are missing their history.
They were created after the last baseline of this module. Although some of our attributes do not get logged in the history files, the object text is populated, so that should show in the object's history. Also, its creation date is not showing. All we see if the deletion date. Is this possible? Is there a way to find out what's going on here? We are using 7.1. Thanks! |

A couple years ago some customer complained that when they deny even R access to an attribute or to an objects, those folks that lack R access can deduce values by reviewing History. Thus, Telelogic made a real feeble effort to hide History from folks who lack R access. I don't know the algorthm, but even DB Admins who have full RMCDA access to everything often see 'READ LOCKED DATA" for all values of some History entries.
Now I'm guessing here, but it woundn't surprise me that either Standard users or perhaps any user who STILL doesn't have R access to the thing changed by the History, cannot even see the 'READ LOCKED DATA'; they see nothing. So I'm suggesting that you log in as a user with full RMCDA access. Note that the Administrator can see all History, and therefore needs to be the one that does all the History dumping to insure you get it all. - Louie |
