Other than to define link attributes and check the existence of linksets, has anyone found a practical use for opening a link module and looking at the matrix?

It doesn't seem you can find links with the gui, nor in fact with DXL running in the link module.

The Matrix is hopeless, yes?

With the advent of LMD's, drag-n-drop linking etc, link modules are almost becoming redundant. In fact I wish they would get rid of them as they are an outdated primitive means for managing the assignment of link types\relationships. If anything is going to be the cause of confusion during DOORS training - it's usually link modules. The old chunky link matrix GUI and lack of tools to find source-target pairs does nothing to instill confidence in new users that DOORS is keeping up with contemporary GUI design. New users also wonder why link types\relationships are not just an attribute of a link pair rather than an assignment to a link module.
