I am using DOORS6 and DOORS7 and have looked through the documentation but saw no mentioned of this. Is there a limit on the amount of columns displayed at one time in a view?
Thanks in advance. ------------------------- pete.kowalski(at)motorola.com |

Yeah, it's 32, but I'm afraid to say we discovered it manually...
I contacted Telelogic about this and they submitted an enhancement request for me.

It is 32.
The practical limit to the number of columns you can make sense of in one go is about 10. More than that and you have to scroll left and right and life becomes hard. Try saving different veiws for different purposes and switch between views when you switch tasks. If you are trying to export to a spreadsheet then go by list rather than displayed columns if you want more than 32, although the same problem of having to scroll for information will exist in a spreadsheet.
