When opening a module the menuStatus bar indicates objects, history, and links are being loaded but the module never opens. Additionally there is no error message or other indication of any problem.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions.

Damon,

Try running the attached code from the Tools->DXL menu from the DOORS Database Explorer. Insert the fullPath to your Module. Then see:

(1) Do the Objects get looped through?
(2) Are there any Triggers in the Module?

Damon:

You can also check the *.dtb and *.dtc files to see if they are corrupted.

Thanks, good information. How could I determine if the *.dtb and *.dtc were corrupted?

I think the origin has been traced to a user trying to lock an object that contained DXL Attributes in the view.

Hi, Pete.

May you provide your Information to me, too ?
We have some problems with lost pictures after baselines and dbunz is not more supplied.
So there is no possibility to restore index files (i.e.) manually.

My eMail is dirk.plaschke@ts.siemens.de

Thanks in advance.

Dirk.

Can I remind everyone that if you start making manual changes to your database without contacting customer support then you risk invalidating the terms of your maintenance agreement and entitlement to support

Any data integrity issues should always be reported to customer support in the first instance

Pete - can you share with me what you were going to send to Dirk and Damon

Thanks

Mandy
