I have a module that I need to have opened in a previous baseline for all users. When any user opens the module (which is set as Read-Only), it needs to be opened in a previous baseline. I cannot figure out how to do this. Any clues? I should add that I am not a programmer, but I do know how to play around with DXL quite a bit.
Thanks, Corey |

Hi Corey,
this job can be done by a trigger ![]() I've attached the code to create a trigger which will open a pre defined module version, when user tries to open current version of a module. The opening of Baselines is possible independently. attention: After running this script it will not be possible to open the current version of target module until you remove the trigger! You need to specify modulename (relative to project root) and the baseline information at the beginning of the script. Hope that helps you, Greetings Reik ------------------------- Evosoft GmbH for Siemens Industry Sector Berlin, Germany |

Reik,
That did the trick! I owe you big...I never would have been able to come up with that on my own. Thank you so much for the help! Corey |

Reik...one problem. When I load a view in any module that has some sort of traceability to the module with the trigger....the module appears, and if closed, it reappears. I cannot work on the views because I cannot get the trigger module to disappear. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I would have written the trigger to only apply to the group of people who need to be seeing the baseline instead of the current module. This would still give you whatever you're talking about above, but would allow the Admin account (and others) to not have to see the baselined version for when you want to change things in said module without removing the trigger.
