Is there a command that will return the highest Absolute Number created in the specified Module. That is, if we add one we will get the AbsNo of the NEXT object created in the module?
- Louie No, I don't want to poll every object in the module to find the current max AbsNo. |

As an alternative to the direct approach, you could look at the history, and find the Abs No. of the most recently created object. This is going to be more complex if nothing has been created since the last baseline.

I figured there was some function that Telelogic uses to get that information. I cannot find it in the encrypted v5 stuff, but maybe someone can find it in the v4 stuff. DXL functions "newObjecAfter" and "newObjectBelow" (from ..dxl/config/formal.dxl) no doubt issue a call that gets the next number.
