Hi,
I've a problem with acces right when a view is saved in a module. In fact wehn someone save a view in a module, the acces right of this view are not herited. So the acces are RMCDA for the creator and R for everyonelse. I'm administrartor and I can't modify this view. David ------------------------- David POIRET e-mail: david.poiret@messier-bugatti.com |

I am surprised you are having difficulty here. By default in DOORS 7 new views are created Private, meaning that the creator has RMCDA access while Everyone Else has NONE. This is to prevent the view pulldown from becoming cluttered with other peoples views.
Creating a view as public sets R access for Everyone Else. In order to get round access rights you must be logged in as the Administrator user, but good advice is not to use this account except for emergencies. Too dangerous! Are you trying to remove all access rights by setting Everyone Else to NONE and removing all other access rights. DOORS will not allow this. ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |
