Hello every body...
Is there a way where I can work with multiple attribute columns independently?

I'm trying to link one part of a document to differents columns but I want the linking arrow in the correspondent attribute column.

Is this a viable option in DOORS or not? If not, Does anyone have a tip on how to work something similar.

I'll appreciate.

Links are between objects, not attributes. Link arrows show only in the main Object Heading and Text column.

Your best bet is to have different views.

Hi ???,

you can not link to attributes, so not to columns in view.

But you could use doors tables to have links to cells - but you need to know that each cell is an extra object within module.

Greetings
Reik

Be careful with DOORS tables. Even Telelogic recommends not using them unless absolutely necessary. Take it as a sign.

In addition to what Reik said, each table row header is also an object. So if you're at the end of one row, you might think that the next object will be the first of the next row when in fact its the row header for the next row. These are objects you can't interact with but they still exist. At the top of a table is also a table object.

If you choose to use DOORS tables, when looping through the module with DXL you can use the bool table(Object o), bool row(Object o), and bool cell(Object o) to see if the object is part of a DOORS table and, if so, what kind of object in the table.
