The following code was presented by Heather Linsk at the 2007 UGC in Atlanta. It does a real nice job of presenting information from in-links. I need to convert this to show the same information from outlinks , but since I am a poor dxl programmer I need some assistance. Anyone care to take to offer a solution?

Such a quick response - thank you

I see you de-compressed the code. The contest at UGC has a limit for lines of code so a lot of statements were compressed. It does make it easier to read.

Unfortuneately I am getting the following error:

-R-E- DXL: <Line:150> null string parameter was passed into argument position 2
-I- DXL: execution halted

If I understand the problem this means in the last statement the disp buffer is null???

I am going through some side by side code compare to see if I can discern the problem. This may take me a while.

From that error it sounds like nothings ever being put in the Buffer. Try assigning the buffer to an empty string and see if that fixes the error.

I am going to sound real dumb here ( the problem with public forums is when you have to ask elementary questions in front of a bunch of smart folks). It has been over 25 years since I have done any real programming so forgive this ridiculous question---

How does one set a buffer to an empty string?
