Is there a way to restore a module without the *.dma file?

The reason is that I have a very old example of a module, but I have no way to restore the module since all I have are the *.dtc and *.dtb files.

Thanks,

Reg

Anything you do here WILL invalidate your support aggreement with Telelogic. Therefore:
[] Be sure to practice on a local database.
[] Don't tell Telelogic.

If you've saved the folder hierarchy of the module (e.g. folder "\m000002E5.mod"), then consider TRYING the following:
[] Create a brand new module.
[] Get its Unique ID: run script:
.... ID = uniqueID(module fullName(current Module))
.... print "ID = " ID "\n". Prints "ID = 000004EF"
[] Add an "m" to the beginning: m000004EF.
[] Go to the DB hierarchy, and search for this folder \m000004EF.
[] Delete all the files therein.
[] Replace all the files from your backup.
[] Try to open the module.

I'm pretty sure that if you do NOT have a full hierarchy backup that you cannot restore the module.
