Anyone know if there any plans to certify DOORS 7.1 on Windows 2003?

Anyone currently running it on Windows 2003?

We're running DOORS 7.1 on Win 2003 Server, and have no problems. I believe DOORS 7.1 is supported on Win2003, but DOORSnet 7.1 is not. Anyway, we have DOORSnet also working on it, and it runs okay.

DOORS 8.0 will be supported on Windows 2003
DOORS 7.1 client is not supported on Windows 2003, just the DB Server.

We use DOORS 7.1-server and DOORSNet on Windows 2003 and DOORS 7.1-clients on Windows 2000 and XP without any problems.

Are you using Internet Information Server (IIS) 6.0, since that is the Microsoft Windows 2003 web server, for DOORSnet? If so, how did you get it to work, since IIS 6.0 disables CGI pages? Or did you have to install IIS 5.1 on your Windows 2003 server? We're still fighting this one, and would appreciate any helpful hints.

I did a install of DOORSnet 7.1 on Windows 2003 / IIS 6 as thus:
- created new virtual directories for Deault websites, gave them the read (doorsnet) / read & execute (cgi-doorsnet) rights
- changed the Web Service Extensions for All Unknown CGI Extensions to be Allowed
- checked that the users created by the Virtual Directory installation (which had names
like xxx_DOORS) had access to the doorsweb/docs and doorsweb/cgi directories (these
users are used by IIS 6 to allow anonymous access)

As far I know (and was instructed by Telelogic Support in november 2004) DOORS 7.1 runs fine on a Windows 2003 machine, but the license server can not run under Windows 2003.
We had to switch the license server to another machine running under Windows 2000.
Has this changed? Can I move the license server onto the W 2003 server? That would help us much...

Hi.

We've been running the licence server as well as the DOORS Db server on a Win2003 server for the best part of a year, and have had no problems. If you're having problems with the Flexlm on Win 2003, I suggest you check that your version of Flex is up to date, if not upgrade to v8.4.
Check the supported installations on this website - I'm pretty sure it says DOORS 7.1 is supported on Win 2003. DOORSnet7.1, I believe is not supported, but it works okay on Win2003.

I'm working on WIN 2003 as well, however I'm having an issue accessing DOORSnet.

I configured the website as did DOORSnet, but when I attempt to log in through IE, I get the error:

HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

Any troubleshooting suggestions?
