I seek your infinite wisdom in helping me with a small problem that I have at the moment.
I have a test procedure (TP) module that uses the test tracking facility. I create a new run and enter the observations. If a problem is discovered, a problem report is raised in the PR module and outlinked to the TP object that identified the problem. The status of this new PR is RAISED. When I do another run, the problem is still there, however it is not a new problem so I set the status to REFERS or CLEARED if the problem has been fixed.
After every run I have to produce a test report. I have a wordy begining, then an inserted summmary view from the TP module of the latest run, then a discussion, conclusion etc.
All good so far.
At the end of the report is a section that has 3 subsections:
1 - New PRs raised during this testing
2 - Existing PRs observed during this testing
3 - PRs cleared during this testing.
At the moment I manually enter the information in here. What I would like to do is automatically retrieve this infomation based on the PRs linked to the TP module and the status i.e. RAISED, REFERS or CLEARED and export this to word in a table in the correct section.
Any thoughts?
