Hi All,
I am trying to designate a shared location to which all "DXL script execution" related metrics must be written. I do not want to hardcode this location in the DXL scripts itself. Hence, I was considering storing this location in a DOORS registry variable. I looked for a comprehensive list of registry variables tied to DOORS but did not see anything for this purpose. Considering the list did not contain "addins" and "projectAddins", I am guessing the list was not complete. I was wondering where I might find a complete list of DOORS registry variables. Any input will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Pranav

Are you looking in the correct place in the registry, i.e. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE?

You can add your own entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Telelogic\DOORS\8.1\Config

...and read it using getRegistry()

Although I would be more inclined to use a configuration file for this.

Addins and projectaddins are keys which you can add to registry, they are not added by DOORS installation. Most of the command line switches work also as registry keys, for a list on these and information on how to update the registry see the DOORS Help section "Configuring DOORS".
