I like to make every object in a requirements document that has a "shall" be its own object. Unfortunately, on import from Word, I regularly get whole paragraphs with multiple shalls in them as one object and it's a pain to manually split them using the split tool.
Anybody have a script that will split objects based on the following?: search each object text for "shall" if more than one "shall" in object text, split each sentence containing "shall" into it's own new object on same level as original object if no "shall' in current object, disregard and move on Best Regards, Rich ------------------------- Rich Mason richard_mason@drsoptronics.com |

The ideal way may to parse the text in word prior to import -- and a script can be written in word for doing such.
That being said, we use to have a script that we got from QSS called QSS_prep_module or something of that nature. You might get the script from DOORS support. Our versions has been hacked by so many people, I would be relunctant to send it out to anyone unless I was able to find the original. Note. QSS was DOORS before Telelogic bought QSS.
