Is there a way of using "link by attribute" to link to a past baseline in DOORS? When I use it, it wants to link to the current baseline. Anyone know of a DXL script that might handle this?

What I'm trying to do is move comments made against a later baseline to an earlier one. The comments exist with outlinks against the wrong baseline in another module, I would like to correct this.
The above script may do this, I'll have to give it a try when I get a chance. |

For some reason the current baseline does not show up in the select target module box, I can't get any further than that. I also only want to move the inlinks between versions.

The script can only be executed from the source module, i.e. the one with the outlinks. So, for the moment, you will have to execute the script in each module with outgoing links to the versioned module.
I'll look at extending the functionality to also move/copy in-links to the current module, though I won't have time to do that anytime soon. |
