I have some multi page tables in MS Word. When I hyperlingk to the tables only a portion of the table shows up in DOORS (using 6.0). I have tried lengthing the page in Word Page Set-up but that didn't work. It almost seems like there is a limit on the object size and it is cutting off the table when the object reached that limit.

Long tables in DOORS don't work well -- very hard to see more than I screen at a time -- usually best to break tables in multiple before import -- also unless you absolutely need a doors table it is better to have tables converted to bitmaps or ole objects -- (Better for presetation)

Alex,
You should write a macro that moves the tables in the document you are trying to export to a directory, saving them as (eg table1...tablen ) as you go and at the same time replacing the tables in the main document with placeholders eg (<table1>...<tablen> ![]() Import the document into DOORS as normal You must then write an accompanying dxl that replaces the placeholders with the tables you have saved into a directory. Hey presto no more DUFF DOORS tables! ------------------------- Regards, Richard Good |
