One of my formal module A has in-links from 2 different modules. |

Depending on how your counting the links, you will have to modify your script/process to filter out the links that you don't want. One approach is by testinging the foreign module name.

The 'for link in obj <- "*" loop (incoming links) won't see the link unless the source module is open. There's an example in the DXL manual for opening such modules in a loop ahead.
Back in v6 there was a bug where the source module cannot see links even when the target module was open. And I do mean the User cannot see the links, neither in the link indicator nor when editing links. The solution for that, oddly, was to open the source module, loop through all objects, and all objects outgoing links, then save the source module without making changes. This refreshed the indicator in the target module. That fix looked something like the attached. Don't know if they fixed that bug, but I haven't seen it in a long while. - Louie |
