This is going to sound a bit fundamental, but I can't find anywhere in the help that answers it....
If I put in my script: create object type "Text" attribute "Attribute1" create object type "String" attribute "Attribute2" what's the difference between the two types? I know, I know :-) |

From DOORS Help "Understanding attribute types" ;-)
"Text Text, which can include paragraphs (newline characters). String Text, which cannot include paragraphs (newline characters). " In addition to the above String is limited to 968 characters, but Text is unlimited in length. Text can contain OLE objects, String can not. ------------------------- Pekka.Makinen@softqa.fi SoftQA Oy -http://www.softqa.fi/ Edited: 16-May-2007 at 08:37 by Pekka Mäkinen |
