In a dxl script I run, I 'halt' and display the error condition in an ErrorBox when needed. However, what I also want to do is automatically set the display to the object that failed. I've looked into the 'current' command thinking that would be my solution but haven't had any success. Right now, it might blow up on object #200 but the 1st object still has the focus. Any ideas on how I can accomplish this simple task?
Thanks, Mike |

I load a view which has the "remember current " setting.
Set current to the desired object. Save the view. Load the view. load view "Normal" View v = view("Normal") Object New1 = object(5044) current = New1 save v load view "Normal" ------------------------- Cliff Bly |

Louie's answer is correct, but I find that sometimes you need to force the scrolling using the scroll function.
(current ObjectRef__) = objectWithError scroll to objectWithError refresh (current Module) halt ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |

I can't get the scrolling right. I can get it to work if the error object is not on the same screen as the current object (I think I used "scroll down(mod)"). But if the objects were adjacent the scroll function didn't put it where I wanted. I guess I should have displayed the first object in the module and THEN displayed the one I want.
