![]() Answer: Hi Pete, we - Eurocopter Germany - use a windows cluster with 64 bit machines having Win 2003 Server SP1 installed. Sessions are done via rdp (remote desktop protocol). Pretty cool and *everything* works fine. One of the big benefits of this architecture is the high reliability (cluster) and easy maintenance (50 users per machine)! Patches and software rollout could not be easier. Good old mainframe is definitely back. So DOORS within a 64 bit windows environment is ok. The processes are run in 32bit mode. Regards Hubertus | |

Hi -
I am curious if anyone here is running DOORS in any flavour of 64 bit Windows such as XP or Windows Server 2003. If so what are your experiences? Thanks for any feedback. ------------------------- pete.kowalski(at)motorola.com |

I just want to follow up on this topic. Since my initial post my team have been running DOORS in the 64 bit environment without any issues. Now, I wish there was a 64 bit version of DOORS to take advantage of more memory. Ah, my dreams.
