Since I do in fact read the DXL manual, I use "pragma runLim, 0", and sometimes use "pragma stack, 1000". I also insert XFLAGS_ &=~AutoDeclare_" into my startup.dxl, so all my DXL variables must be explicitely defined (that's good).
Are there other pragmas? Are there other XFLAG_s? - Louie |

The only XFLAG I have used is autoDeclare_. Everyone should use this.
The following constants seem to be defined, but I have no idea how they are used or if they are valid: const int Blocked_ = 4096 const int StackStat_ = 2048 const int HeapPrint_ = 1024 const int SrcPrint_ = 512 const int TypePrint_ = 256 const int ShowPerming_ = 128 const int AutoDeclare_ = 64 const int CodePrint_ = 32 const int StackPrint_ = 16 const int AssCheck_ = 8 const int Dates_ = 4 const int Diag_ = 2 const int Interactive_ = 1 The only pragmas I know of are runLim, stack, splashMessage and permfn. What permfn does is a mystery. ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |

I have tried the XFLAGS_ settings above. What I found is:
XFLAGS_ = AssCheck_ //?? XFLAGS_ = TypePrint_ //prints some sort of byte code XFLAGS_ = CodePrint_ //prints some sort of byte code XFLAGS_ = Interactive_ //?? XFLAGS_ = StackPrint_ //prints some sort of byte code XFLAGS_ = ShowPerming_ //?? XFLAGS_ = Blocked_ //?? XFLAGS_ = Diag_ //?? ------------------------- Bruce Tuskey Sr. Principle Engineer Tuskey@gmail.com "All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost:..." - Gandalf the Grey (JRR Tolkien) |

Yup, I already do an Interactive_ AxxCheck_ to see if its Blocked_ every morning. Did I say that?
