I created a formal module in DOORS 5.2, then copied and linked a second formal module to the first by dragging items from the first to the second, using the "copy and link" function. Now when I examine the first module, all the out-links are intact, but the second module does not show or recognize in-links. I can follow links from the first module to the second, but cannot get back from the second to the first.
All the links show up correctly in the link module, and when the link module and second module are open together, any links displayed in the link module show link arrows in the second module, but these disappear when I close and reopen the second module, even after I save it. Help! I don't want to have to re-establish all those links by hand. -- Mark Hanson |

Have you checked that you have link arrows displayed in the view you are using.

Yes, I do have link arrows turned on - that was the first thing I checked. If I select the link in the link module, the arrow shows up OK, and remains until I close and reopen the target module.
The target module shows no sign that it knows anything about the in-links. -- Mark Hanson |

This is the missing link indicators problem: the links are there but not the indicators. Even though the symptom is in the target module, the "solution" involves the source: open it, save it, and close it. Then open the Target, the in-link indicators should now be seen.
