I am trying to copy several selected objects from one module to another using Tools -> Copy Objects. I don't see an option to copy the current selection. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

You can create a filter with only the desired object then select pull down menu that has:
"Current Display Set" |

The problem is that we have lots of small groups of objects that need to be copied. It would be time consuming to create a filter each time. Are there any other options?

You can create a dxl that will set the filter based on the selection and add that to the script on your client named copyobj.dxl
i.e, you could add to the pulldown menu to execute the filter |
