For windows windows installations, I need to be able to connect my users laptop DOORS 8.0 node-locked clients to the local laptops DOORS 8.0 database server or to the corporate DOORS 8.0 database server when they have access to the network. I have read the DOORS 8.0 Installation Guide and have not found out how to set this up. DOORS 8.0 seems to support connection to only one database server.

This was fairly easy to set up in DOORS 7 by simply adding a switch to a DOORS shortcut "-d port@server".

Is the "-d port@server" switch supported in DOORS 8.0?

I am testing on a single laptop and have not upgraded the corporate DOORs database server to version 8.0 yet.
