![]() Answer: Pekka is correct. A paragraph mark (^p) in Word will cause a new DOORS object to be created. In this case, the document had manual line breaks (^|) which simulated a new paragraph mark, but the manual line breaks were ignored by DOORS. To see these, I switched to outline view. Each paragraph mark caused a little paragraph marker to be displayed next to the line. The manual line break did not. I performed a search and replace from manual line breaks to paragraph marks and this fixed it for the import. | |

When importing from WORD or RTF to DOORS, several requirements get imported into one DOORS object. I tried both a carriage return and an extra space in WORD between each requirement to make them individual paragraphs. Is there some way to force the import to put one sentence per DOORS object??
Thanks, Mike |

Each paragraph in a Word document _should_ form a DOORS object. If this is not for some reason happening in this way, you can also split the objects in DOORS by using Tools / Functions / Split Object Text command (in module menus).
