![]() Answer: Oh, I saw that I posted in the wrong section. Sorry for that. Actually I found out, what it is about. It has to do with hidden text. Any hidden text in Word is also hidden in DOORS after the export. After changing all hidden text to normal text everything works fine. From now on I will be more careful using hidden text. Hi,
I have problems with the build in doors.dot for exporting documents from Word to DOORS. I am using DOORS 7.1. The first problem was, that it was not possible to export a whole document using the doors.dot of DOORS 7.1. This did not work due to problem with the size of the memory which causes an immidiate halt. the work around for this was to use an older version of doors.dot. So I tried the 6.0 version and it partially works. The downside on this is, that now the document and all the information in it is exported to DOORS (and the attributes "Object Text" and "Object Heading")but the main column is empty. To change the information in this kind of object I have to reset the attribute to default before applying changes, otherwise the information is just concatenated to this hidden info. But the real annoying thing is, that if i want to move objects in the hierarchy manually (using copy/paste) all this hidden information is lost.
Does anyone here can help me on this.
