I can no longer bookmark the doors discussion forum.
When I try to follow the link I have to login and select DOORS and then select the forum. Is this a mistake or intentional? Makes visiting the forum a bit of a chore. Or am I missing something? ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |

You can navigate to the forum? That's one better than me...
I too have to log in when I click on the link, but the only way I've found of actually getting to the Forum is to log in, then paste the link from the subscription email into the browser window and then navigate back up to the 'head' of the forums. And all the Teleogic menu stuff is missing from the top of the page (so it's not all bad news...) I must be missing something too. ------------------------- Paul dot Tiplady at TRW dot com TRW Automotive |

HI,
I got the same problem as well. Even if I click a link within the forum it takes me to the login page for the Telelogic home page. ......................... Sudarshan Agnihotri |

Had some luck as follows:
Preparation: [0] Close all Internet Explorer windows [1] Start IE, go here: https://support.telelogic.com/home.cfm?forumlogin [2] Log into Passport with E-Mail and Password. [3] In the Passport page, notice the URL is https://support.telelogic.com/index.cfm?cid=nnnnnn, where nnnnnn appears to mean 'me'. [4] Saved that URL as a Favorite, 'Telelogic Passport'. [5] Created a new Favorite: 'DOORS Forums': https://forum.telelogic.com/customer/doors/ So now you have two favorites. Execution: To log in, first use the 'Telelogic Passport' favorite and then the 'DOORS Forums' favorite. Gone are the days of single-click login; now its two-clicks. Aaaah, Nostalgia. Note that the 'nnnnnn' number is in your favorites and I suppose means that someone else can use your computer to log in as you. - Louie Edited: 13-Nov-2007 at 21:21 by Louie Landale |

On my machine I have found that if I click on the shortcut twice.
Once to get to the log on page and then once after that I don't have to log on and I go to the forum. |

It also appears the User Forums can be bookmarked successfully and accessed by using Firefox.

On my machine I have found that if I click on the shortcut twice <snip> I don't have to log on and I go to the forum. It doesn't matter how many times I click on the link, I end up at the login page, even if I'm logged in in another window. I can use Louie's advice, and that's still the only way I can get to the forums - I have no idea how one is supposed to navigate here from the Support pages at Telelogic - I see no menu options for that. PS I'm using IE6 & Windows 2000 (not my choice!). ------------------------- Paul dot Tiplady at TRW dot com TRW Automotive Edited: 16-Nov-2007 at 08:38 by Paul Tiplady |

Here is a short procedure to get to the forum by drilling down method:
Go to: https://support.telelogic.com/home.cfm?forumlogin Login: Which takes you to: https://support.telelogic.com/index.cfm?cid=7564 Then on left side a pulldown menu has: Select a product Select: DOORS Then on left side a hot button comes up with >Forums Select: Forums Unfortunately how does one distribute this info to other users? If you are here you must of found a way to get here. |

Yes I found this quite annoying too. With the old forums you had a "Remember me" option. Now you don't.
