Hi all,
we are using DOORS server on Unix and have dbadmin called as part of the shutdown script for a clean shutdown. We do not want to need a password IFF the shutdown user is root or the doors user itself (because we would need to embed this password in the shutdown script), but we also do not want to give everyone who can get hold of DBADMIN.EXE the possibility to shut down the server or throw out other users. Is it possible to create such a setup? How do other companies handle this? regards, Dietmar |
