Topic Title: Bitmap on canvas: seeking relatives
Topic Summary: It's easy to produce a bitmap on canvas using an absolute path. But wouldn't it be nice to have a relative reference?

Answer:
You can e.g. put the bitmaps relative to (getenv("HOME")).

I am painting a bitmap on canvas so as to have a welcoming screen.

As can be seen it is easy to have an absolute reference.
But I haven't found a way to refer to the file relative to the script.

Also: I tried putting the bitmap in the $DOORSHOME/lib/dxl/addins folder but alas... no import. Just a black screen.

Thanks, that works fine. As does getenv("DOORSHome").

"HOME" is the default location of the DOORS database. "DOORSHOME" is the one actually in use, which would be different if you used the -d command line switch. So getenv("DOORSHOME") is correct, getenv("HOME") will sometimes be incorrect.
