I created an AttrType "Selected" type "Enumeration" and assigned values for a module. I save the module, close and open it again. I see the "Selected" attribute in Types. When I apply the following code
Module m = current AttrType at = find(m, "Selected") print at.type I get the Error message : null attribute type parameter was passed into argument position 1 |

That code works for me. I suspect you have a current module problem, meaning the current module isn't the one you think it is. Try the attached code.
