Ladies and Gents,
I have a baseline called: 5.0 pre "pre release 5" (major.minor suffix desc) I thought I was trying to make: 5.0 post "post release 5" I ended up making: 6.0 post "post release 5" What I want to do is to delete the 6.0 baseline, and be able to number from 5.0 onwards ! My explorations: 1. I have deleted the release 6.0 baseline 2. The options for a new baseline don't revert to 5.0, they are 6.0, 6.1 or 7.0 Is there a way that I can fix this ?? (looking around here, it seems not!) Im on DOORS 7.1 .... Thanks in advance |

There's no way I know of to reverse baseline numbers. Telelogic might have a way to do it. But good luck with that.

You could copy the module and then from Paste Special select what you want to include in the copy. Then the baselines revert back to 0.0 (as it is a new module) and you could re-baseline until you reach again 5.0.
What you lose in a module copy: - All the previous baselines (which are in the original) - Object / Module history (though these are in the original) - Module ID is different so some traceability columns do not work anymore. ------------------------- Pekka.Makinen@softqa.fi SoftQA Oy -http://www.softqa.fi/ |

Pekka, David - thanks for the responses !!! I'll have a go with Pekk's method - don't think I'll bother with Telelogic ! :-)
