I need to create a filter dialog box to open when a certain view is selected. This dialog needs to refer to an attributes enumerated list to thanks in advance.

Don't think so.
There is probably some real wierd way you could do it with Triggers combined with Layout DXL, but that would be a nightmare. As for the Dialog, I've never done it but you can have your DXL present the standard 'Filter' dialog box, look for 'filterItem' may get you started in the manual. - Louie On second thought ... the Layout figures if this is the topmost object in the display. If it is and the Filter dialog has never been displayed this session, then Set an Environment variable whose value features the module name and Session number and indicates whether the Filter dialog has been displayed (set it true). Then display the Filter Dialog. Good luck with that. |
