Is there a way of specifying the baseline number when baselining a module in DOORS 7.1?

There doesn't seem to be a way to do this. For example, from 0.6 you can go to 0.7 or 1.0 but not direct to 2.0.

The only workaround I can think of is to create dummy baselines until you get to the number you want then delete the dummies.

Thanks,
Ken

You cannot skip numbers. Be advised that you lose all the History in the deleted 'dummy' baselines; so don't do that. I'd just baseline at 1.0 and immediately baseline again at 2.0.
