I've been using a lot of DOORS lately and I would like to have a go at the magic of DXL since it seems to do solve all the world's problems.  I haven't done any programming in years, but I reckon I could pick it up fairly quickly.

I'm going to try the Telelogic DXL course sometime in the new year, but until then - Where should I begin?

Is there anything I can really mess up by playing around with DXL?  ie Can I close without saving to get rid of any changes I make or is it possible to do permanent damage to the database?

Any suggestions for a good place to start?

Cheers,
Amy

Install a local database server on your PC.
This way you have your very own database to play with.
You can use shortcuts to distinguish between your database and the one on the server.
