I have several modules that are linked in various ways. (i.e. Customer, Questions, Answers) I would like to be able to select a object at the top of the hierarchy (Customer) and export all the relevant data from the other modules. (Questions and then thier answers).

Does anybody know where to start?

Please bear in mind that I am new to DXL and I don't know C that well.

Thanks

Jason,

Normaly, DOORS users use the Analysis -> Wizard to set up traceability columns to meet the need you described. The wizard allows the output to restrict the output to particular Link Modules and Attributes.

Try using the wizard, and if it does not meet your needs, please give more detail on how your needs are different from the options the wizard provides.
