Hello and pardon my ignorance,

I would like to connect to a DOORS database from EXCEL 2003 using the Import External Data feature in EXCEL. Therefore, I am interested in learning if DOORS 8.0 is ODBC compliant and if there are drivers available.
Has anyone attempted this type of solution?
Thank you for any help provided.

DOORS is not a relational database and is not ODBC compliant.

You can start DOORS and get information from it using VBA in Excel.  It's been over a year and a half since I've done it but it can be done.  It's not too terribly difficult.  I believe you can even run DXL programs.
