Running DOORS v7.1 encounter following error:
The connection with the database server has been lost and reconnection attempts have failed. This may be due to network problems or the server may have been stopped. DOORS will now exit. All attempts to login to server have failed. |

This is not a defect. The DOORS client lost contact with the DOORS server, usually due to network problems. It could also be due to the Server service stopping.

It sure seems like a defect, or at the least, an opportunity for enhancement. DOORS is the only program I run which exits routinely when it momentarily loses connection with the server. Undocking/docking a laptop usually proves fatal. I've had to educate users here to exit DOORS before doing anything which might interrupt their network connection.

We access DOORS through a Citrix connection. Client does connect but immediately loses connection.
