![]() Answer: Fabian. You can use hyperlinks by inserting the URL in any object's attributes of type text - e.g. www.qinetiq.com or <file://mypath/filename.ext> - check DOORS help menu if my memory dfails on the syntax. OR Wait for DOORS 8.1, which is out Mid-May: has the ability to use DOORS links to link to other application files and vice versa, so I'm told. Regards, EWen Miller QinetiQ. | |

Hi!
I try to link a Doors object to a HTML file. Is it possible to create "extern" links that are similar to links between DOORS Modules? Alternative: I know that I can just write an URL in an attribute, and DOORS will open IE after a "tripleclick", but can I "hide" the long URL somehow? Is there something similar to HTMLs \< A HREF={URL} > short text \< /A> where "short text" is displayed instead of the URL? Thanks, Fabian Linke edit: we use DOORS 7.1...
