I see the new formal module templates and I can create one myself, using an existing one as an example.
But we want to create new modules with a set of our own Types and Attributes. I don't see any examples where a template for a new modules has anything other than headings in it. Can anyone point me to an example of a template for a new formal modules that not only sets up headings but also establishes some types and attributes? Alan |

We created an empty module with the attributes and views that we want all of our modules to have, then we copy the empty module to create new modules.
The only problem with this is that ll of our modules look like they were created years ago by the same person. |

We tried the same thing. We created an ideal standard module and then we would copy it and rename the copy for each new module. In addition to the problem of it looking like all of them were created ages ago, each new module gets the version of that ideal module (which for some reason we had at 0.3, as you know we can't set it back to 0.1), and most important to us is that when we create certain reports such as exporting to MS Word using the DXL routine called WEXP, the headings that were in the ideal module are not marked in the MS Word document as headings, so they don't show up in the table of contents. Other headings that the owners added do end up as MS Word headings and in the table of contents. We can not tell the difference between the 2 headings. So we thought we would use the official module template mechanism in DOORS, but it isn't obvious that it provides the ability to create Types and Attributes. We certainly don't want to have to recreate them with each new module.
