Hi Shane,

I can't offer you a DXL script but I have seen a set-up where-by a "Style" attribute is created which consists of a drop down list of styles. Wherever there is an object marked up with Style = "Table Caption" or "Figure Caption", a DXL script was used to renumber the Table or Figure number. I seem to recall that the Table and Figure number was within sqaure braces so that the caption number could be easily modified without disturbing the captions description text. I Wish I had got a copy of the DXL.
