I tried searching for this in the forums but couldn't find anything, so thought I'd post my question and hope I can get an answer.

Is there any way to add comments/notes to links between different documents in DOORS using DOORS 8.1?

In other words, if I have a document A that has a statement, and that statement links to a scanned in page in document B, can I add a comment/note to that link that gives a description of what I'm trying to link to in the scanned page of document B?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

You add a text attribute to the Link Module housing the link, lets call it "Comments". Edit the outgoing link's properties and you should see 'Comments'. Edit that value.

Be advised that while the definition of the link-attribute in in the Link Module, the edit takes place in the module with the outgoing link. Don't think editing incoming links works.

In DXL, you would do something like this:
lnk."Comment" = "My Comments about this Link"
