I'm probably being an idiot, but if a user selects Help from the DOORS v71102 explorer menu and nothing happens (even though his C:\Program Files\Telelogic\DOORS 7.1\help folder contains doors.chm), what is missing ?

I assume you mean Help menu >> Contents and Index.

Perhaps your file is corrupted or modified. My v71 Doors.chm is 6,150 kbytes, or exactly 6,297,269 bytes long as is dated 5/5/2004.

I can confirm that the DOORS.chm file for the user is the same size and date as you indicate above.

A possible solution would be to uninstall the client then reinstall. Perhaps your registry got messed up?

I think that may have to be the solution if the user finds not having help available a problem.
