Hi,
I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to see all of the modules that are linked to a specific module, without having to run the wizard and count off the different modules that are linked to/from a module. I am thinking of a kind of spec tree that would show the relationships b/w modules. Any ideas? Thanks |

Patrick,
I have developed a netViz ( see netViz ) 'interface' to DOORS which allows the Linking relelationship between Modules to be seen graphically plus the hierachy. I have attached a sample graphic of what the tool produces. We run the tool nightly via batch and allows other data to be captured from the DOORS db such as: Default Views set for the Modules, who has access to what and a full list of the Users & Groups ( also displayed graphically as icons ) All the captured data can then be exported to excel etc for further analysis. The tool is useless without a full copy of netViz to display the data, so if you have netViz, drop me a mail & will send a copy across ( comes with a readme to guide you though setup ) regards, Dave
