Hello,
We are getting ready to go from v6 to v7 and I am wondering if anyone had any problems or does anyone have any tips? Is there anything I need to be aware of prior to the upgrade?

Only problem we had with our server upgrade was Telelogic sent us a faulty license file for 7.0. Other than that our installs have been smooth as ice.

Doors 7 licence set-up does not update the path to the vendor Daemon line contained in the licence file. This has to be doen by manually editing the licence file - see Defect ID 18693.

Hope this helps.

We had the same experience.

We were sent a license.dat with a UNIX line as follows: DAEMON telelogic /appl/telelogic/flex/archflex

If you are using a Windows operating system, the line pointing to the executable should be something like this: DAEMON telelogic "d:\doors7\bin\telelogic.exe"

There should be no UNIX syntax in the line pointing to the bin folder containing telelogic.exe
