Hi,

What would be the best way to disable editing to DOORSNet users while still allowing them to submit change proposals? Users who have editing disabled would not be able to enable editing (i.e. the enable editing check box would not work).

Also, is there a way of selectively assigning DOORSNet editing privilages to users?

Any information on this subject would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Frank Poljanec

hi,

I think you can solve this problem by configuring the user permissions in doors. You can assign rights allowing   members  only readable.under tools/change proposal/configure you can add these users as standard allowing them to make change proposals via doorsnet.I can give you complete info and exact solution tomorrow when I am at the office by checking our solution.
