I need to import a spreadsheet of a requirements that have
Absolute Number | Requirements | Owner | Rationale | Is a Requirements (Yes or No) | Enumeration1 | Enumeration2 | Etc. I'm trying to imported from DOORS but I want to create the enumeration attributes while importing. Some one know any script that make this possible, so I can create the attributes while, instead of going to the types create one and then create the attribute and the filter all that have x go to module properties, and change the value of the attribute by view. I don't want that. Please let me know as always... Thanks |

You'll have a job to do that!
The importer does not offer an option to create an enumerated type because it would not make sense to do so without knowing all the possible values, and what order they should be in. So I am afraid that you will need to create the enumerated attribute type manually, not from imported data. ------------------------- Tony Goodman http://www.smartdxl.com |

After import you can create an enumerated type and attribute based on the data imported by running a script from DXL Library:
- in module select Tools / DLX Library - browse to Some example programs.... / Example to create enumerated attribute type from attribute data ------------------------- Pekka.Makinen@softqa.fi SoftQA Oy -http://www.softqa.fi/ |
