I would appreciate some real life feedback on the current state of scalability of the DOORS DDBS process, which is the gateway to a DOORS database for all DOORS clients (including DOORSnet clients and Citrix based DOORS clients).
I'm not talking about the geographic issues covered in the "Multi-site, Mult-Server enterprise architecture" thread, but am asking for real life experience as to the maximum simultaneous users that a DOORS DDBS process will support, and what hardware was used to achieve the result. ------------------------- Michael Sutherland michael@galactic-solutions.com http://galactic-solutions.com |

Well I dont think this answer will give you the info you need Michael, but perhaps it will get the ball rolling.
Our current setup is 15 Simultaneous users, on a sun UltraSPARC-IIi-cEngine running SunOS 5.7. We are currently using Doors v 6.1sr1. Of course this is a very small number of users, so we are not experiencing any problems. I presume someone out there is running far higher numbers than this ???
