Hi All,
I'm trying to modify the value of Object Identifier (which, as we know, is a combination of Prefix and Absolute Number). I'm able to modify the prefix easily, but it's modifying the value of Absolute Number that I'm having trouble with. That's because, the value that I want the Absolute Number to have is of Buffer type. For example, there is an attribute called 'Anchor' with a value "SWDD880_SSTN_6050_00". The Prefix would be "SWDD880_" and Absolute Number should be 6050. I've attached my script. Please let me know how we can change the value of the Object Identifier or Absolute Number. Thanks. |

Absolute Number is a read-only system attribute, you can not modify it in anyway. What you can do though is build your own layout DXL column / DXL attribute which combines the needed values to display your own ID.
