You can initiate DXL is several ways: Run from DXL window, Run from PullDown menu, Run in Top Context viw 'evalTop_', Run from Trigger, Run from Batch Mode, Run from Layout, Run from AttrDXL.
I know this: 'batchMode()' tells you if its running in Batch Mode; Trigger trg = current tells you if running from a Trigger; if (!null attrDxlName) tells if its AttrDXL; if (!null obj and null attrDxlName) tells if its Layout (assuming you've not defined Object obj). I was wondering if there was a way for a DXL to tell whether its running from DXL window or pull down, and wether its running its Top context or not? - Louie |
