some DXL files in the DOORS installation are encrypted - making them binary.

the DXL interpreter senses encrypted DXL when it is loaded.

you cannot run an encrypted DXL file directly, but if you run
#include<encrypted_dxl_file>
then this will load and run encrypted_dxl_file.

Some of the supplied DXL is written with that horrendous option to allow variables to be implicitely declared (typed) when used. You have correctly suppressed that option in your Startup.dxl file by inserting XFLAGS_ &=~AutoDeclare_ at the bottom. But when you run THEIR DXL and many of their layouts you need to suppress that option so their DXL will run.

I put a shortcut to Startup.dxl in a toolbar so I can quickly go back and forth with that option.
