I am looking for a script that will copy all the objects of a selected view or filter to a new module.  I've looked at the copy views script at galactic solutions, but it only copies the view itself and not the objects within it.

I appreciate your help!

Hi Sudip,

you may use "Tools -> Functions -> Copy Objects..." to do this job.

Greetings
Reik

Hi Sudip, as an alternative, you can copy the "copy-objects"-script mentioned by Reik to a different location and modify it, so you don't have to use the dialog-box-based logics of copying objects and operate without user interaction. Its location is $DOORSHOME\lib\dxl\standard\fns\copyobjs.dxl You will have to use the following function: void cpCopyObject(Object src, trg, bool bDoLink, int copy_dir) and modify it in that way, that you provide a filled skip containing your desired attribute-names (cpSelectedAttr). Greetings Daniel
