Hello,

I'm doing my first project with DOORS.
Now I am wondering how to generate and export the list of the changes between the Baseline and the current version to the MS Word.

(We are using DOORS 7.1)

With normal DOORS functionality: in module menus select File / Baseline / Compare. The user interface on this one is not so good, but the end result is a listing of deleted and new objects and changes that have happened to attributes. This listing can be selected and copied to clipboard and then pasted to e.g. Word.

With customized scripts you can have more good looking results, one such script for baseline comparison is supplied with DOORS in the DXL Library.

Thanks for the advice. I have allready found that baseline/compare tool.

Unfortunately it doesn't include all attributes to the listing - only the ones that have been modified. We have requirement numbers as a special attribute of the object. When the requirement is modified, typically only the text of the object will be modified - not req number. Now when I generate a baseline/compare list, it does not contain our requirement numbers. However, the change log in MS Word doc shall contain also requirement numbers.

Tero
