You want your DXL to copy then paste the currently selected project?

Don't see a command that gets that info. Telelogic Support may be of help (then let the rest of us know).

However, baseWindowMenu.inc has command "dbExplorerCopy()" associated with the >Edit Menu>Copy command. It also has "dbExplorerPaste()" for paste, but you'll need to set the current folder to folder("/") before pasting. Don't know how you'll be able to tell whether what's in the right pane is a project or folder or whatever, but if you always put your projects directly under the root folder (great idea, no nested projects) then your code could insure that there is no current project which would greatly increase the chance that the selected item IS a project. Command "clipPaste()" has some potential as well. Looks like you'll have some problem figuring out the name of the think you just pasted, however.

Another approach would be to insist that the project be actually open (selected in the LEFT) pane. Then you could get the current project, set the current folder to "/" (db root), then explicitely copy and paste the project whose name you already have saved.

Curious eyes want to see your results if successful.
