(Using DOOR v7.1 bld 71102)

I have some modules which I need to print hardcopies of. As we also need to have an HTML-linked document set, I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone and format the HTML-exported modules such that they can also be printed on A3 Landscape paper.

However, I am finding that no matter how much I fiddle about with the size of the OLE objects or the column widths of the attributes in the DOORS module, I cannot get the generated HTML created in such a way as to fit onto a page width of A3 Landscape paper. I've even tried manually editing the table widths in the generated .htm file (and the OLE object dimensions in the .htm file as well).

The printed page area is okay (enough margins all round) and I'm using IE6 if that helps.

Does anyone have any experience of a workable technique for getting reliable print output from an HTML export?

Reducing the number of attributes in the printed document is not an option, unfortunately, although there are only ten of them anyway.

Probably not the answer you are looking for but open a suitable template in Word and Insert > File (not File > Insert). Put the html into Word, set up a macro for any necessary reformatting and you get controllable output.
