I have a dxl script that performs a madule Word export, by using a customized Word template.
That template already contains a macro, that I run by hand after the word export. I'm pretty sure that it's possible to run the macro either from inside the script itself or from a batch process, but I don't know how to do that. Could anybody please tell me how to do? Currently I use that script for both interactive running (for the export of the current module) and batch running (for the export of a set of modules). I've been using DOORS 7.1 with Windows. Thanks in advance, Franco |

Yup, it is possible.
Something like this should help get you started. ------------------------- Scott Boisvert Engineering Tools Administrator L-3 Communications - Avionics Systems scott.boisvert@l-3com.com |

If there are two MS-Word windows running, oleCreateAutoObject ("Word.Application") seems to get a handle on the first one. Anyway to get a handle on the MS-Word application that's displaying a particular Word file, e.g. the one showing "MyDxlOutput.txt" and ignore the one showing "MyTimeCard.doc">
