I was surprised to see that there is no way of importing or exporting in XMI

Is it because I didn't choose this choice in the installer:
"RhapsodyModeler corporation"

I supposed that with a free license I only had the right to option "RhapsodyModeler".

The Modeler does not contain XMI. The full editions of Tau and Rhapsody are able to import/export XMI.
