Hi,

I?m trying to access a model to read and manipulate from an external Visual Basic 2005 program. I know how to read and modify model elements from VB, I just don?t know how to set the currently open model to a VB variable.

Hi Niklas

I've not actually tried, but I'd be very surprised if the COM API is open on the Telelogic Modeler Embedded edition. The ability to automate the tool would be very powerful, and counter to Telelogic's "free but limited functionality" intent. Certainly, there's no VBA feature available within the tool. Also the COM API help document is not present. I notice that rhapsody.tlb is provided in the distribution, but wonder if this is simply an error.

best regards,
Simon
