After the download and installation of the license, I had several false starts. Eventually, I cleaned all of the old version out. Now, when I start the application, I get the following screen.

There is a Welcome Page that is displayed when Rhapsody starts. This is normally located locally on your machine in the installation directory. For some reason it appears this is not being found. Did you uninstall Modeler 7.0? It may be that there is a rhapsody.ini file located in your c:\windows directory that is still pointing at the old install. Try renaming this file. for example rhapsodyOLD.ini.
The program will work without the welcome screen. If you do a File -> and New then you should be able to create a new project for example.

Your answer provided some insight into the problem. However, regardless of how I modified the rhapsody.ini file, the new program ignored the changes and reverted back to the C:\RhapsodyModeler directory.

TO resolve the problem, I copied the directories from C:\Program Files\Telelogic\Rhapsody Modeler 7.4. This might be n overkill, but it works.

Version 7,0 was a lot smoother installation.
