Help for displaying URLs

This group of command lets you specify how uniform resource locators (URLs) are to be displayed in Host On-Demand terminal emulator sessions. To get access to this group of commands, click Edit > Preferences > URLs.

Display URLs as Hotspots

Select this option to display a URL as a clickable "hotspot" in the session window. The cursor turns into a pointing hand when it is moved over a URL hot spot.   A single click on a hot spot opens the URL in a new browser window.  Hotspots can be displayed for URLs that use the following protocols:

By default, Display URLs as Hotspots is selected. 

If you disable this option, URLs are shown as plain text and the cursor does not change shape when it is moved over a URL. A double click on a URL opens it in a new browser window.

If Display URLs as Hotspots is checked, select one of the following options to specify how URLs appear in terminal emulator sessions:

Underline URLs

Choose this option to display URLs as underlined text (the default).

Show URLs as 3-D buttons

Choose this option to display URLs as three-dimensional rectangular buttons with white outlines. 

Don't show URLs in unprotected fields

(All session types except VT100 and VT220)

Select this option to display URLs in the unprotected, editable areas of the screen as plain text.
