Before capturing and binding the SQL statements that are
in your non-pureQuery API application, you need to enable these features
by adding pureQuery support to your Java project.
Procedure
To enable the capturing and binding of SQL statements
that are in non-pureQuery API applications:
- Right-click your Java project
and select Data Access Development > Add
Data Access Development Support. The Add
Data Access Development Support wizard opens.
- Follow the instructions in the wizard. For information
about the controls on the wizard, click
in the lower-left corner
of the wizard. If the help does not appear, select a control on the Add
Data Access Development Support page and then click
again.
- Click Finish.
Results
The workbench creates the following files in your Java project, unless they exist in your project
already:
pdq.properties,
Db2JccConfiguration.properties,
Default.genProps,
Default.bindProps.
If
you want to disable the capturing and binding of SQL statements that
are in non-pureQuery API applications and remove the support for pureQuery
from the Java project, right-click
the project and select Data Access Development > Remove
Data Access Development Support.
