You can add SQL statements to an existing query workload.
About this task
The SQL statements that you add must run against the same DB2® for z/OS® subsystem that the current SQL statements
in the workload run against.
Restriction: You cannot add
SQL statements from DB2 Query
Monitor for z/OS or from user-defined
SQL repositories, even if the existing workload already contains SQL
statements from either of these sources.
Procedure
To add SQL statements to a query workload that runs on DB2 for z/OS, follow either of these steps:
- In the Manage section of the workflow assistant, open the Statements page
for the workload that you want to add SQL statements to. To open this
page from any of the other pages in this section, click the
button. Then, follow one of these steps:- To add statements from a file, existing workload, or locations
in the connected DB2 for z/OS subsystem:
- Click the
button on the toolbar above the list of statements.
- Follow the instructions in the Capture wizard.
- To type one or more statements:
- Click the
button on the toolbar
above the list of statements.
- In the Manually Add SQL to Workload window, enter the SQL text,
and click OK. The SQL statement you entered is added to the workload.
- In the Manage section of the workflow assistant, open the Tasks page
for the workload that you want to add SQL statements to. To open this
page from any of the other pages in this section, click the
button. Then, click the
button. Follow the instructions
in the Capture wizard.
