Verifying the installation

When the installation process is complete, a message confirms the success of the process. You can open log files to verify your installation of the product.

Procedure

To verify the installation:

  1. Navigate to the directory installation_directory/logs.
  2. View the following log files:
    • If you installed Version 3.1.1, view the following log files:
      • OPQRTinstall_details_timestamp.log
      • OPQRTinstall_summary_timestamp.log
      • PQactivation_details_timestamp.log
      • PQactivation_summary_timestamp.log
    • If you installed pureQuery Runtime Version 3.1.1 with InfoSphere® Optim™ Performance Manager and ran the configuration tool, view the following additional log files:
      • PQconfiguration_details_timestamp.log
      • PQconfiguration_summary_timestamp.log

    The timestamp is the date and time of the installation.
