You can use the navigation breadcrumb trail to change which
objects are displayed in the Object List.
About this task
The
Object List displays the list of
objects for a particular object type. For example, the table spaces
that are in the database might be displayed. If you want to see the
list of schemas that are in the database, instead of clicking an object
type folder in the
Administration Explorer, you
can use the navigation breadcrumb trail in the
Object List to
change which objects are displayed.
Procedure
To change which objects are displayed for the database,
complete the following steps:
- In the navigation breadcrumb trail, click the drop-down
arrow that is displayed after the database name. In
the following example, GSDB is the name of the database.
Figure 1. Example
of using a drop-down arrow in the navigation breadcrumb trail to select
other objects to display
- From the drop-down menu, click the object type that you
want to be displayed in the Object List. For example, click Schemas.
The Object List is refreshed to display the objects
for the object type that you chose.
What to do next
You can use a similar process to change which host, instance,
or database is being displayed. Use the drop-down arrows that are
displayed before the icons for each of these objects in the navigation
breadcrumb trail.
