Compartment display options
You can specify
whether key and non-key elements are displayed on the diagram. You
can also specify whether index or trigger compartments are displayed
on physical diagrams, and whether hierarchy compartments are displayed
for dimensional diagrams.
Attribute filtering options or Column filtering options
The following filter options are available for entities in a logical
data model:
- Show required attributes
- If you select to show required attributes, all data objects that
are required are displayed on the diagram or the object you have selected
in the diagram.
- Show not-required attributes
- If you select to show not-required attributes, all data objects
that are not required are displayed on the diagram or the object you
have selected in the diagram.
- Show foreign-key attributes
- If you select to show foreign-key attributes, all foreign-key
attributes are displayed on the diagram or the object you have selected
in the diagram.
- Show non-foreign key attributes
- If you select to show non-foreign key attributes, all attributes
that are not part of the foreign key are displayed on the diagram

The following filter options are available for
tables in a physical data model:
- Show null columns
- If you select to show null columns, all columns that can be null
are shown on the diagram or the object you have selected in the diagram.
- Show not-null columns
- If you select to show not-null columns, all data objects that
are required (or cannot be null) are shown on the diagram or the object

- Show foreign-key columns
- If you select to show foreign-key columns, all foreign-key columns

- Show non-foreign key columns
- If you select to show non-foreign key columns, all columns that

Foreign key relationship display options
Specify which properties of the foreign key relationship between
data objects are displayed in the diagram.
Filtering attributes by name or Filtering columns
by name
Specify the names of attributes or columns that
you want to filter out from the diagram. Attributes or columns that
match the pattern that you specify are not displayed. The pattern
is case-sensitive.
Filtering attributes by data type or Filtering columns
by data type
Specify the data types of attributes or columns
that you want to filter out from the diagram. Attributes or columns
that use the data type that you specify in the Hide list are not displayed.
Entity options or Table options
Specify
the properties of the entity or table that you want to display. For
