Rational ProjectConsole Maintenance Tool Help
Use this wizard page to select an existing repository that you can use to copy (and save with a new name and directory) or initialize a new repository; name the new repository; and provide information about the physical databases you created to store collected project data.
The PjC Sample Site is a read-only repository. After you use it to initialize a new repository, you can then modify the new repository.
For information about deleting sample data from a repository initialized using the PjC Sample site repository, see Rational ProjectConsole Designer Help.
You can use the PjC Empty Site as a starting point for building a Rational ProjectConsole Web site from scratch. Like the PjC Sample site, this repository is read-only. After you use it to initialize a new repository, you can then modify the new repository.
Because PjC Demo is a read-write repository, if you modify the PjC Sample Web site (for example, by adding users or creating a new scheduled task), the changes are saved in the PjC Demo repository. This means that if you then use PjC Demo to create a new repository, the new repository includes all of your changes.
The remaining controls displayed on this page depend on the database type you selected. For information about what to specify for the different types of target databases, see Vendor database parameters.
Click Finish to proceed to create or copy the repository based on the information you provided.
