Managing Visual Studio Projects with ClearCase
Views
The Rational® ClearCase® Client
for Microsoft® Visual
Studio .NET provides operations for managing Visual Studio projects and their
associated ClearCase views.
Creating a New Project in a ClearCase View
A Microsoft Visual Studio project must be stored
in a view before you can place it under Rational ClearCase source
control. The recommended way to store a project in a ClearCase view
is to create the project in the view.
Adding an Existing Project to a ClearCase View
If you want to add an existing Microsoft Visual Studio project to Rational ClearCase source
control, you must first move it to a ClearCase view
directory.
Opening Recently Used Projects
Visual Studio projects that you have created or opened in a view
can be opened from a list of projects in the Front Desk.
