History


This page displays, in tabular format, information about the history of the selected element, including all its predecessor versions. Each row in the table corresponds to an event record of the Rational ClearCase object. An event record is an item in a VOB database that contains information about an operation that modified the VOB. By default, the event records of the element are listed in order from the most recent to the oldest.

The following information about each element appears:

Date
Specifies the version-creation date of the element.
User
Specifies the user who created the version.
Event Kind
Specifies the type of event that created the version, for example, create, create version, create branch.
Version
Specifies the version number of the element, including branching information. Click the version to display the associated Properties page.
Comment
Specifies a comment, if entered by the user, associated with the version.

The element’s event records can be sorted by clicking a column head. The column head on which the display is currently sorted is indicated by one of two icons:

Sorted in descending order.
Sorted in ascending order.
