Rule sets that are implemented using Cúram Rules can be assigned to a product. The process begins with selecting the rule set. The rule set is searched for and selected from the list of existing rule sets.
At least one rule set must be assigned to a product as a prerequisite to eligibility determination. Information recorded for the rule set assignment includes the name of the eligibility rule set to be assigned to the product and the period during which the rule set is assigned to the product. This period cannot overlap with the periods of existing product rule set assignments. One or more rule sets can be assigned to a product; however, only one rule set can be active during any given time period.
