There are no hearing instructions displayed on a desk-based hearing notice because there is no hearing to be attended by the case participants. Desk-based hearings cannot be continued so no contact information for continuing the hearing is displayed on a desk-based hearing notice.

- The correspondence recipient's name and address are
displayed.
- Hearing Case Details
- The following hearing appeal details are displayed: the
hearing reference number, the hearing case number, and appeal
issue(s) to be addressed at the hearing. Note that appeal issues
refer to both denied program applications, product delivery
cases and issue cases under appeal. The correspondence displays
aid status regarding the appellant's continued benefits provided
this is the only appealed product delivery case or issue case on
the hearing appeal. However, If there is more than one appealed
item associated with the appeal, the hearing notice will not
contain aid status information regarding the appellant's
continued benefits.
- Hearing Statement Deadline
- The final date for submitting a hearing statement is
displayed.
- Information for Canceling Appeal Request
- For the appellant, information for canceling the appeal
request is displayed. The appellant signs and dates the
correspondence and mails the cancellation request to the
organization name and address displayed.
