GeneralLedgerInterface is the batch process that gathers financial transactions for a specified date, or date range, and exports them from the application into an output file which can then be imported into the General Ledger. The output file contains details of financial transactions at the lowest level of granularity. In the application, financial transactions at this level are defined as Instruction Line Items. The output file is a sample of what would be sent to a third party who will then use this file to update the General Ledger.
