Configuring Service Provider Selection

The following table describes the settings that are available that determine how a service provider is selected at the case level:

Table 1. Options Available for Configuring Provider and Provider Type Selection
Setting	Description
Provider Mandatory	The case worker must select a provider. The case worker is not given the option to select a provider type.
Provider Type Mandatory	The case worker must select a provider type. The caseworker is not given the option to select a provider.
Provider or Provider Type Mandatory	The case worker is given the option to select either a provider or a provider type. Either a provider or a provider type must be selected.
Provider or Provider Type Not Required	The case worker is not presented with the option to select a provider or a provider type.
None Specified	The case worker is given the option to select a provider or a provider type. Provider or provider type are optional.
