Recommending the Required Number of Units of a Service

Case workers can recommend that a client receive a certain number of units of a service. For example, a client may be required to receive 10 counselling sessions. In certain circumstances, it may not be appropriate for a case worker to recommend a number of units for certain services. For example, a client may be due to receive Infant Care from 1 January 2011 to 31 January 2011. In this case, the number of units of a service such as Infant Care is always 1 and is defaulted to 1 by the system. This eliminates the need for a case worker to specify the number of units.
