In certain situations the organization may find it necessary to temporarily withdraw a provider's entitlement to provide services on its behalf. Some potential reasons could include the suspension of a professional license, or the receipt of a complaint against the provider.
CPM provides functionality allowing providers to be suspended after they are approved, if the organization finds an appropriate reason to do so. The suspension reason has to be recorded. Providers who have been suspended cannot be authorized to deliver services.
