Managing Service Offerings

Service offerings in CPM are managed in the services registry by an administrator. On adding a service offering to the services registry, a rate and unit of measure must be indicated for all service offerings. Residential placement services should have a unit of measure of 'place'. The units of measure for non-placement service offerings include, but are not limited to, doses, treatments, sessions and visits.

A set of similar services can be grouped together as a service group. For example, all foster care services (traditional foster care, special needs foster care) may be in a group called foster care services.

Service offerings can be searched for by the resource manager based on the following search criteria:

• Service offering name - The search returns all service offerings whose name includes the text entered. For example, if searching for child, all service offerings with 'child' in their name are returned.
• Unit of measure - The search returns all service offerings matching the selected unit of measure. For example, if the place unit of measure is selected, all placement service offerings are returned.
