Defining Performance Measures for a Provider

Performance measures configured in the Administration application can be related to providers by the resource manager. The measures can be defined at two levels: at the provider level (covering all services), or for each service provided. This depends on the configuration setting for the measure - whether it is applicable only to a service, or to a provider, or both.

Performance measures can also be added to provider contracts. The measures can be used by the resource manager to monitor the provider's performance as part of maintaining the contract. The values for the measures can be used to make decisions on the extension or termination of the contract.
