Setting the Frequency

When adding a service plan item or custom service plan item to a sub-goal, the case worker can specify the frequency at which the service offering associated with the plan item is to be delivered, for example, recurring every week on Tuesday and Thursday. If specified, the frequency pattern, along with the expected start date and expected end date of the plan item will be used to determine the specific service dates on which the participant is authorized to receive the service.

If a plan item requires approval, the frequency can be modified up until the plan item is approved. The expected start date and expected end date cannot be modified after this point if a frequency has been specified for the plan item. If a plan item does not require approval, then the case worker can set the frequency only when the plan item is initially created. This is because once the plan item is saved, it is considered approved.

The frequency of the plan item is displayed on the Tracking Gantt chart for the service plan item.
