The following are the steps to be undertaken when determining the household's benefit amount for Food Assistance:
- Determine the maximum Food Assistance allotment for the household size by using the Food Stamp Allotment Chart
- Multiply the household's net monthly income(as previously determined by the net income test) by 30%
- Subtract the amount determined from step 2 from the Maximum Net Monthly Allotment determined in step 1.
