Conditional Verifications is a feature, wherein, the flexibility
is provided to determine if verification is applicable for evidence
through programmatic support as opposed to manually means. The
programmatic support is encompassed through rule-class implementations and
verification for a piece of evidence is determined based on a set of
conditions. The Verification Engine will check the conditions specified,
at the time of adding or modifying evidence but will create an outstanding
verification only when a condition that has been defined is met and not
every time a verifiable data item is added or modified. The conditions can
range from conditions against the value of the verifiable data item to
more complex conditions where the values of a set of dependent evidences
determine whether or not verification is required.
