A valid Cúram workflow must form a directed, connected, acyclic graph that is block-structured. For the most part these properties (directed, connected, acyclic) are discrete and so they can be checked independently by the Process Definition Tool (PDT) before releasing a process. The structural validations performed on a process definition are done in a distinct order and these are outlined below.
