An integrated case category can be associated with the simple product using the new product wizard or else added from the simple product home page using the actions menu. These category associations are used as filters during case creation. As part of creating a new case, an integrated case category is selected. This defines the basic integrated case information for the integrated case, including which product delivery case types can be created within the integrated case type.
It is important to associate the correct integrated case category with any new product so that new product delivery cases can be created from within the correct integrated case type. In theory, many integrated case types can be associated with a product but typically there will only be one.
