The other systems in the system landscape will require fresh application installations. For example, if the system landscape consists of a development system, a test system, and a production system, then the application needs to be installed on the development system and the test system.
Note that it is important that the systems in the system landscape are as homogeneous as possible. So, the other systems in the system landscape should match the configuration and setup of the existing production system as closely as possible. It's worth noting that this means that the installation should also include any customer customizations that have been developed and applied to the application. Please refer to System Homogeneity subsection of section 5.2.1 - Define the System Landscape for further information on the homogeneity requirements.
