Pre-defined assessment scoring is also provided for each factor for both Cash Assistance and Food Assistance. For both programs each factor is scored on the same ten-point scale and assigned a rating classification. In the Self-Sufficiency Assessment, all factors are assigned the same rating. Scores are based on a four category rating scale of Vulnerable, Engaged, Progressing, and Self-Sufficient or Safe. The scores associated with the rating scale are: Vulnerable is 0 to 2, Engaged is 3 to 5, Progressing is 6 to 8, and Self-Sufficient or Safe is 9 to 10. These ratings are also known as barriers categories in Cúram Outcome Management.
